INS Summer Contingent, Tsyemny Sea, 150km South of Itallitopia
sigh.
Shipmaster Desmond of the INS Summer Contingent stood at the bridge of the ship as he watched the semi-submersible ship begin to make adjustments to carry the submarine all the way to Friently.
“Lieutenant Constine, please inform our boarding parties to have the door to the control room within 10 minutes. Hopefully, they are willing to listen to a voice of reason in person.” the shipmaster informed his communications officer as he walked away from the window, who replied with a simple, “Yes, sir.”
[b]9 minutes later[b]
Sparks flew in multiple directions from the door as the powered sax grinded away at the joints of the door. Lucio sat by the ladder with his MP5 out as he watched the two Marines handled the door. They had powered off the communications system again a few minutes ago, and this point they really had no idea what to expect from the Canines in the control room. One by one however, a group of Marines lowered from the main hatch, all wearing gas masks before the shipmaster of the INS Summer Contingent appeared, which lead the idling Marines to immediately salute their commanding officer.
“At ease gentlemen. Staff Sergeant Lucio, what’s the status on that door?’ the shipmaster asked under the muffled gas mask.
“It should be open soon enough, I assume you intend to enter negotiations in person?” the Staff Sergeant replied as he prepared his gear.
“Indeed, hopefully they will see the compassion we have shown their comrades, and cease to resist an already lost fight.” Desmond added.
Suddenly, one of the bolts of the door snapped, before falling to the ground inside the Control Center. Simultaneously, both the Marines and Canines aimed that firearms at the entrance, waiting for somebody to walk through.
“Hello there.” Desmond asked as he suddenly showed up before the fallen door with his pristine uniform.
“It would appear that your radio communications were faulty, and I was unable to receive a response for my message, therefore I have come to you in person. Since you did not receive the transmission, I am Captain Samuel A. Desmond, Shipmaster of the INS Summer Contingent, I have come to negotiate the terms of your surrender.” Desmond stated in a rather orderly fashion. He knew however that the crew had indeed received the transmission, and were most likely communicating with an approaching reconnaissance aircraft spotted by Vapian patrols in the Tsyemny.
Desmond took a step forward before one of the Canines to the right of him aimed his SMG at him.
“May I suggest first lowering your weapons, I believe that there is much more that can be done without such distractions.” Desmond asked as he stared at the commanding officer of the ACS Spaniel.

Please endorse Delegate Kranostav, Vice Delegate Dreadton and: Note: This handbook covers The North Pacific?s Security Council, the body charged with the region?s security. If you?re looking for information on the World Assembly?s Security Council, start with this subforum instead. Introduction to the Security Council The Security Council exists to serve The North Pacific, and to ensure that democracy will always reign in the region. The Security Council consists of trusted members of The North Pacific, with high endorsement counts and high regional influence levels. These nations protect the region against external threats, secure the WA Delegate position in periods of instability, and will enforce a recall of the delegate should such a vote be successful. The Security Council is chaired by the Vice Delegate, a position elected for 4-month terms. To support regional security, we ask that all WA nations please endorse the following nations: Chipoli (Vice Delegate) Responsibilities of the Security Council Members of the Security Council are responsible for maintaining high endorsement and influence counts. However, protecting regional security can seem like quite a nebulous mandate, so here are some more specific responsibilities of the Security Council. Weekly Updates To keep the region informed on what the Security Council has been doing, Vice Delegate Chipoli provides a weekly update every Sunday. The update is posted on both the regional message board and the regional forum, and is an excellent opportunity for all nations to ask their questions about the Security Council. Welcome to The North Pacific!
Welcome to The North Pacific (TNP)! You might be a new nation to the game or in TNP, and you don't really know what is going on or where to start. Or you may be an experienced member but have several questions regarding some of the activities going on. Whatever the case, we have put together this handbook that you can use to familiarize yourself with the game and TNP, and to make the most out of your time in NationStates (NS).
The handbook has a number of different sections. The index below will help you navigate them. If you have any questions not answered in this handbook, feel free to send a telegram to Delegate Kaschovia, Minister of Home Affairs Lionsroar, or any of the Gameside Advocates and Mentors. They will be glad to help! Additionally, we are always looking to improve this handbook, so let us now if you think something should be added or changed.
Onboarding Checklist
This section covers the very first items you should check off as a newcomer to the game and TNP.
Why you should be in TNP: Selecting a region for your nation is one of the most important decisions you will make in the game. We hope you will make TNP your home, and this link explains why. If you have already decided to stay here, that's great!
Join the regional forum: The forum is where most government and roleplay activities take place. Registering an account is very easy. You should get yourself an account so that you can check out what's going on and join in on the fun.
Join our regional chat: Our Discord server is where our members hang out and chat about the game and real life subjects. You can join and introduce yourself to our community. Additionally, if you have any questions, asking on Discord is the fastest way to get help.
Apply for citizenship: Citizenship is your ticket to TNP. As a citizen, you can vote to elect our Delegate and other government officials, hold them accountable, and even run for these positions yourself. All you need to apply is a nation in TNP and an account on the forum.
Ways to Get Involved
Now that you have cleared the basics, you must be looking for things to do. Below are some of the opportunities TNP offers.
Get involved in the government: There are many ways to get involved in the government straight away after joining TNP. You can write the regional laws in the Regional Assembly. You can take part in the day-to-day running of the region in the Executive Staff. Or, you can protect TNP at home and abroad in the North Pacific Army.
Get involved in the World Assembly: Joining the World Assembly (WA) is one of the best ways to empower your nation, especially in TNP. Thanks to our WA Development Program, as a WA member you can determine international laws, have one of the highest endorsement counts in the entire game, and even win awards!
Get involved in RolePlay: We have not one, but two vibrant RolePlay (RP) universes, Eras and Strangereal. Each comes with its own map, chronology, and physics laws. If you commit to being active in RP, you can claim a spot in either universe's map, and join others in weaving stories about your nation and its role in the world.
Get involved in trading cards: Our regional cards guild provides many resources you can take advantage of to increase the value of your deck, including several offerings of free cards. As a member of the guild, you can also participate in many other cards-related activities, including themed collections, pull events, and regular publications.

What is this?
The North Pacific WA Development Program (WADP) is a campaign to increase awareness among nations in The North Pacific of the benefits of World Assembly (WA) membership, maintaining high endorsement counts, and voting on WA resolutions. We hope that this campaign will result in a significant increase in the number of WA members, the number of endorsements exchanged, and the number of WA votes cast within The North Pacific. If these objectives are achieved, The North Pacific will become a much more influential and secure region.
Who is running this campaign?
This campaign is organized and coordinated jointly by the Delegate and the Security Council of The North Pacific. The regional security aspects are managed by the Security Council of the North Pacific and the voting aspects are managed by the World Assembly Delegate.
I am interested in helping. What can I do?
First of all, you should make sure to do what is mentioned in the TL;DR box above: first join the World Assembly if you are not already a member, continue to become a Keeper of the North, then continue exchanging endorsements, and finally make sure to vote on World Assembly resolutions.
If you want to go above and beyond, you can help promote this campaign in the following ways:
~ Send telegrams to nations in The North Pacific pointing them to this dispatch, or directly encouraging them to join the World Assembly, become Keepers, and exchange endorsements.
~ Advertise the campaign in materials you publish by using the campaign logo (shown below with code) and linking to this dispatch.

How can I keep track of how well we are doing?
Take a look at the reports tab above, which includes many statistics informative of the progress of the campaign.
What do I gain from all this?
First, as mentioned above, by participating in this campaign, you help make our region safer and more influential. This is good for all nations in The North Pacific, including you!
Second, if you do decide to join the World Assembly member, become a Keeper of the North, actively exchange endorsements, and consistently vote on World Assembly resolutions, your nation and your game experience overall will improve in several important ways, described in detail in the three previous links.
Third, if you show that you are actively exchanging endorsements, we will promote your nation so that you can gain endorsements even faster!
Fourth, we will be handing out a generous amount of participation awards and achievements. That's right, there will be a lot of bling you can use to show off. We will also be maintaining special regional censuses, to highlight the most active and consistent endorsers in the region. You can find out more by looking at the benefits tab above.
Last but not least, every day we give away free legendary cards through the card lottery. By participating in this campaign, you can expand your collection to include some of the most valuable cards in the game.
I have some thoughts on improving the WADP, whom do I contact?
Thanks! We greatly appreciate all constructive feedback. Please contact Vice Delegate Chipoli with any comments or questions you may have. The Security Council runs regular surveys regarding the WADP and other areas. No survey is currently open. This page will be updated with ongoing surveys.

A furry prepares for her speech, she is the vice president pick for the communist party, the red typlosion. She walks up onto the podium and onto a cheering crowd.
"The people have spoken and have elected Gabrion Jales and Kacuimi Nohma. A new dawn shall rise for the people of the reichspakt. The rich shall fall at the hands of the proletariat. We shall bring forth a workers republic for the people of the nation and shall crush all who stand against a united workers world. W-"
Even with the first few lines the capitalists express high concern towards her rederic and worries of job losses from his and her crusade against capitalism intensify.
A Kitsunemimi walks up to a stage in the hall for the Ultranationalist party, she clears her throat and speaks
"The oppression of the reichspakt which has driven so many to death shall soon be no longer. The forces of anime shall destroy the demonic Pokemon who stand in our way and create a new state which is dedicated to protecting us anime creatures. May death rein on all who stand in the way of a true anime empire. The world shall soon bow down to our might and our ever-loving determination."

Greetings everyone!
It is time to announce the winners of the daily card lottery for 2020-10-22:
Congratulations to the winners!
If you also want to be considered for the daily card lottery, you should become a Keeper of the North. It doesn't take more than two minutes, and you have a chance to win any of Season 1's legendary cards! You can also exchange endorsements and vote on resolutions to increase your chances of winning.
~ Become a Keeper of the North to enter the lottery.
~ Exchange endorsements and vote on resolutions to increase your chances of winning.
~ Win legendary cards for your collection.
Participating in The North Pacific (TNP) WA Development Program (WADP) is a great way to increase the value of your trading card collection. Through our card lottery, every day, two lucky WA nations receive cards of legendary rarity as gift, completely free!
How often does the lottery take place?
We run two lotteries per day: one emphasizing exchanging endorsements (the endotarting lottery), and one emphasizing WA voting (the voting lottery). For each lotterry, we first determine the list of eligible WA nations. We then randomly draw a winner from each list. We finally randomly draw a legendary card to gift to each winner. The selected winners and cards are announced on the regional message board, and are also added to the list of winners below.
How do I become eligible for the lottery?
Here is what you need to do to enter each of the daily lotteries.
This sounds complicated, how do I find out how likely I am to win the lottery?
We have put together lists showing the chances each eligible nation has to win each of the daily lotteries. These lists update daily. If you are not listed, then that means that you are not eligible, which you can fix by becoming a Keeper of the North.
~ Probability of winning the voting card lottery.
Which cards can I win in the lottery?
Gift cards are selected at random with equal odds from among the list of all season 1 and season 2 legendary cards available in the deck of regional nation The Northern Light. This list includes some of the most valuable cards available.
It is the end of the month, why was there no lottery today?
On the last day of the month, the lottery winners are not selected randomly. Instead, legendary cards are gifted to the winners of three top-10 categories of the WADP monthly awards. Additionally, epic cards are gifted to the winners of all awards other than the New WA Member Shout-out. Therefore, competing for the WADP monthly awards provides you with another way to win multiple free cards: up to three legendaries and five epics per month!
Legendary gift cards are selected in the same way as for the daily lottery. Epic gift cards are selected randomly from among the epic cards available in the decks of nations Card farmer 1 to Card farmer 2500.
Where can I find the lottery results for previous days?
The results of the lottery are announced on The North Pacific's RMB. Below you can find a list of all previous results announcements. The winners and gifted cards are also tabulated in this Google spreadsheet.
Card lottery results announcements | ||||
Are there any other ways I can get free cards?
Yes! You can join The North Pacific Cards Guild, which will allow you to take part in all sorts of card-related activities, such as collection competitions, pull events, and so on. In particular, you can request any non-legendary card you want in our Great Card Giveaway, and we will gift it to you as soon as we find it.
Additionally, you can participate in the executive government and win free legendary and epic cards through the Executive Card Rewards. To maximize the number of cards you can win, you can join the Executive Staff, Cards Guild, and North Pacific Army.
Where do the legendary cards used in the lottery come from?
The government of The North Pacific operates nations Card farmer 1 to Card farmer 2500, and uses them to expand the card collection of regional nation The Northern Light. This includes the legendary cards used for the lottery.
Can I help?
If you would like to contribute, please feel free to donate cards you do not need to regional nation The Northern Light. We are particularly interested in cards of common rarity, of nations that have ceased to exist, and with eight or fewer owners. Thanks in advance for your cards!
