Thousands of people gathered in the great courtyard of Saint Paul, here there are banners up around the courtyard and fires burn in massive cauldrons. There is a single man on stage, and in front of him stands a single cohort of legionaries. He walks up to the microphone, his uniform freshly ironed and his medals clink as he walks up.

"Friends, Romans, Countrymen lend me your ears! I must tell you that we are surrounded by enemies, the vicious members of the OSEAN alliance remain as the enemies of the Imperium yet we do nothing more to prevent them from destroying us! Our glorious Imperator tries to make moves to build defenses against the powers on our boarders, I must ask though what are YOU doing?"

The man pauses, and the crowd murmurs.

"This is then is my point, the governments to the east and south are vile and evil things. The Government of New Chilokver is one racked with the rot of Democracy, their republic has lead to nothing but decadence. Their government does not take actions to help the people unless they do something for their political slave drivers. Their CITIZENS are nothing more than slaves to a broken democratic system, do you want this to befall on our southern countrymen?"

The crowd yells, "NO!"

"Then the vile Emperor to the East. He who would send insult unto our glorious Imperator, Hong kong empire would try to say that they are superior to us! They do not remember the last time they faced Latin steel. I say a nation that has a leader too infirm to fight, is one lead by nothing but waste. We can not live in a world where we are in fear of this vile creature trying to enslave us! We are the mighty, we are the Latins and we are Rome! Now go forth and join the legionaries, join to go out and defend your wives, Daughters, Sisters, and so on from the enemies that live all around us. These nations hold land that has many Latins living in it, perhaps one day they can realize the dream of being back in the Imperium. But with YOUR HELP!"

The crowd responds with a hail of:

The Imperator looks on from a balcony near by and turns to look at a map of OSEA, one where Irminoniaand the Imperium control the whole of the continent.

Recent comments made by Chancellor Nelson have been seen as controversial, especially in the Italian South, and French Southwest, where much of the Christian Democrats Support Base comes from. However as a battle rages over the rights of an estimated 600,000 Muslims across the nation, the Muslims still live under fear of attacks by the majority Catholic nation. Nowhere however is this worse than in The Bavaria Province, where cities such as Munich and Nuremberg view Muslims as second class, segregation based on religion is quite common, many places outright refusing to serve Muslims because of their religion.

The story of Muhammad Al Basra, has inspired the nation though. Muhammad is a recently laid off chef for a popular Munich Restaurant known as ”Tnic Nuhic Tiherū” [The Munich Diner]. The restaurant after finding out that Muhammad was in fact still practicing Islam after his work permit said he converted to Catholicism sparked outrage across the city and restaurant owner, Frank Tyler, was forced to fire him shortly after news broke. However after his story was shared on Twitter by thousands across the nation and the world, Muhammad was brought back to work despite calls from the local police to arrest the man.

Sadly though many others like Muhammad do not get to go to work, instead they line the many prisons of the German Republic awaiting mock trials which they know will find them guilty. In some of the most rural districts, execution by hanging is still permitted for people who do not practice a Christian sect. Chancellor Nelson called out Bavaria’s governor, Hans Fregel, a noted supporter of the controversial “Islamic Ban” that made headlines across the world nearly 40 years earlier when it officially banned Islam from being practiced in the German Empire. In fact it was him who drafted the law in the first place.

In Southern Provinces such as Bavaria, Roma, Wittenburg, and more, over 140,000 Muslims live under systems that wish to destroy their very existence, the opinions of the people however are not much better. Recent polls conducted in major cities across the southern provinces found that a staggering 68% of people supported the “Islam Ban” while only 14% were opposed to it. Many saw Islam as a threat to their values and believe that Chancellor Nelson’s actions to try and legalize it as “breaking tradition”. Long held sentiments against Muslims have also led to violence against them.

A rather new group known as the “Islamic Liberation Front” has been growing across the nation, attracting a known force of 3,500 but an estimated force around 15,000 nationwide. The movement is committed to non-violence and educating the masses on what Islam actually is. Recently they staged a protest of Governor Fregel’s latest set of laws for Bavaria, banning Muslims from having more than one child. Their protest however turned violent when State Police were called in by Governor Fregel to disperse the protesters, claiming that “Nelson’s policies are causing the underlings to get rowdy.”

His commentary was blasted by those in his own party and Chancellor Nelson himself as deeply hateful and deplorable in the modern age. However Fregel fired back calling Nelson “a disgrace to the nation” and a “Allah Lover”, a term used by Southern Catholics to insult Muslims. It came to the attention of the Nations Imperial Court however in a recent landmark case “Fregel v Nelson” in which Governor Fregel wished to have Nelson deposed from his position for “threatening the nations peace”. The case failed with all 9 judges voting in favor of the defense. Now after the trial Nelson has pledged that “Islamic liberation is coming”, now Muslims across the nation hold their breath, waiting for what will happen next.
