General Gungun makes and breaks shaky peace deals in 140 characters or less, biology and religious education classes have recently been merged, policy reversals are more often graceful demi-détournés than u-turns, and the media seems excessively interested in what General Gungun is wearing this season. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Barbroussia's national animal is the Pelican, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies, and its national religion is Catholicism.
