#PundayMonday

My son asked me for something hard to write on.
I don’t know why he got so mad, sand is pretty hard to write on.

I bought a pen that can write underwater.
It can write other words as well.

I have a friend who writes songs about sewing machines.
He’s a Singer songwriter, or sew it seams.

Today is also Croissant Day, but it really is...

PUNDAY MONDAY!!!

You can never trust a Croissant to get things done.
They're super flakey.

What's it called when your mother's sister is upset?
A croissant.

My wife asked me if I’ve seen the dog bowl.
I told her I didn’t know it could.

I'm reading a book about anti-gravity.
It was uplifting!

I took my 8-year-old daughter to the office on 'Take Your Kid To Work Day,' but when we walked into the building she started to cry.
As concerned staff gathered round I asked her what was wrong and she said: "Daddy, where are all the clowns you said you work with?”

TODAY IN THE WEST

The start of another week brings us Punday Monday once more!

There are a multitude of themes to choose from, as there are observations about both bubble wrap and croissant today. Or you could also continue the puzzle theme from yesterday! (Remember to vote in our puzzling poll too.)

I also remind everyone of our WA Member and Guardian of the Week, Blue bubble and Rengum in Lingo, once more! I see endorsements flowing in, but there's definitely room for further increase.

And here's how to greatly increase your chance of being a WA Member of the Week, apply for Citizenship and join a Ministry! Today I highlight Foreign Affairs, the best pick for people eager to explore the outside world and finding what happens in those mysterious mines - contact Varanius or Hertfordshire and Jammbo today!

Fun fact: croissants were invented in Austria, not France. Don't tell the French though, it will make them very croissant.

Was hoping for more
but, none seems fit in or more
so, I'm just wing it

Edit: i just realized that today is Monday... well not anymore from where i am now

People call me average, I think they're mean.
I met someone who changes reality with what they say, they called me pastry pale instead of pasty pale. Now I have croissant skin

What's your RL country's brand of marshmallow-chocolate cookie?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chocolate-coated_marshmallow_treats

I'd say Munchmallow (I've lived in Serbia before), and I think they have it in my current country (Slovenia), but apparently there they're "indijancki" (Little Indians), but I don't think they're branded like that in Slovenia.

In the UK there are two main types: Wagon Wheels and Tunnocks Tea Cakes. Wagon Wheels are made with two thin biscuits sandwiched with marshmallow fluff then entirely covered in chocolate; Tunnocks have a single small biscuit at the bottom, then a big huge dome of fluff, and again entirely covered in chocolate.

For what it's worth, I don't enjoy either one. Just a chocolate digestive or hobnob suits me perfectly, thanks.

Random Fact: You can use the skin/membrane of an egg to patch some wounds, like knife cuts and other wounds. Just peel it off and put it on the wound while holding pressure. The membrane will harden and keep the wound closed until you can get to the ER for stitches. This used to be done a lot in the early 1900s and was used as a way to treat about any kind of skin wound. Treatments went from burns and cuts to even a ulcer. It helps the wound heal by replacing part of the skin tissue and helping it grow. It also helps in healing scars and reducing their visibility.

Some further uses for this are splinters and poison from mosquito bites.

This has been your daily medic info of the day. Go save some lives.

Chocolate activities require the approval of Darkesia.
