Soft Jazz? Jazz Fusion? Swing Jazz, New Orleans Jazz, or perhaps Jazz Improv? (Though there are some that like to claim that all Jazz is improv.)

Of course, Jazz Fusion will lead you into Progressive Fusion, that that'll bring you right into Progressive Rock. Just start with Al Di Meola, Stanley Clark and Chic Correa from the band Return to Forever. Al Di Meola is currently on solo tour. (RIP Chic.)

The late Alan Holdsworth was a unique Jazz Rock guitarist. One of my bosses in the early 90's was one of Alan's students, and he played in a local jazz band.

Yes, all musical roads eventually lead to Progressive Rock, as Alan played in the Progressive Rock Supergroup UK. Jazz is awesome. I like 1920's/30's jazz.

Would you be open to Kiwi Jazz or Kiwi Death Metal? I am being serious they have very similar keys and topics /s.

New Orleans Jazz is so nice, love how relaxing it is.

Welcome to the West Pacific. Our New Player’s Guide is available to help you get started in the game.

Please do not double post, use the Edit button to add to a post. Also we avoid posts that ask “do you like my flag/nation/economy” etc as they tend to gum up the board with meaningless answers.

Do you like blanket suppression? It’s a little trick I learned from TRR. Seeing as your intentions coming here were underhand I will be suppressing all your posts. You can stay as long as you like, but…

Incorrect. They arrived here acting in bad faith, saying they were wondering how long they would survive here. So I’m going to keep suppressing them until they get fed up and leave of their own accord.

TODAY IN THE WEST

Today is Thank You Thursday, share what you're thankful for this week!

It's also time to remember your lost socks, wherever they might be now. Yep, that's correct! Missing one sock out of a pair is so common that the Lost Sock Memorial Day was created.

(PS: The solution is to live in a place where it's warm year-round so one rarely needs to use socks and shoes.)

Last but not least, remember to read and upvote the May 2024 The Western Post as a show of appreciation for our work, and endorse Overthinkers & the Guardians!

*chuckles* While I have appreciation for some Metal, I'm not big on it. I think a mix of Improv Kiwi Jazz and Kiwi Death Metal would give you something like a New Zealand Psychedelic Metal:

I now picture Gio watching in horror as I walk on the beach on full socks and sneakers.
