Enadia Roleplay Hub Regional Message Board
Idk I may move all the RP dates back by a century so we're in 1988, since nothing happened in the 1900s and it would mean we wouldn't have to make loads of futuristic tech.
:(
I'm thinking maybe 50-60 years? I think it would make some sense.
Highest Votes Cast in a Single Election
In the controversial 2088 election, 284,240,000 were cast in the absolute total. This was the fourth election following the URH's formation.
Despite having a damn high number of votes cast altogether, this election actually didn't have any candidate acquire the most amount of votes in any Hunetian election. That goes to 2070.
But expect this to be passed up soon. ;)
Lowest Votes Cast in a Single Election
As you would expect, this goes to the 2055 election, with 54,340,000 votes cast. This is about 19.1% of the votes cast in 2088. The time between these two elections was only 33 years. Hunetia has only existed for 34 years (or 36 if you count what follows 2052). As expected, this election had the least amount of votes concentrated on the winning candidate.
Based on HOW MUCH mathematics are mentioned in the Aketura article (https://enadia.fandom.com/wiki/Aketura), I would suspect Yasuism in Aketura to be its own individual portion of Yasuism, with each archmindi, mindisi, abbot, monk and count being a highly credible mathematician, attempting to use advanced mathematics to form an explanation regarding how Yasu Nivolo reincarnated.
That's not exactly how denominations work.
The Okana had many curiosities, one of which I will focus on here. When archaeologists discovered Okan, they found a list of kings and their major achievements, documenting Okan's pre-Empire period. At the time, the archaeologists dismissed it as mythology, as the kings reigned for absurd lengths, with the shortest-reigning king ruling for 83 years, and the longest for 227. However, decades later when more of Okan was uncovered, they noticed that evidence of these long lives were present everywhere, from historical accounts to tax records. This confused historians and scientists, and for a short amount of time people believed that the Okana really lived to extreme ages, and theories were proposed about a rapidly declining life expectency. However, once a new tablet was uncovered in the city of Varna, the extreme ages finally made sense.
"Person" vs "Body"
The tablet was a message from one Sekor of Okan to a priest in Varna, detailing Okana inheritance and their definition of person. Translated to English, it read:
"I, Sekor of Okan, am writing to you, the chosen of Va [the chief deity of Varna], to explain why our ages are numerous, as I have been made aware of hearsay in your city about bodies being near-immortal. Your city is most unusual as it thinks that when ones body dies, the person also dies, and goes to the land of the dead. Perhaps that is what really happens in Varna, but I am certain that in Okan the nature of the person is different. A person has one wife per body they are in. The first new body they conceive will not be named, and they will be educated in the profession of the father. They are considered a pre-person, what you would call a child. Other bodies conceived by the person and their wife are new persons. The pre-person has until the death of the person to find a wife. When the body inhabited by the person dies, then a ceremony in the temple will transfer the person from their old body to the pre-person's body. The person will then continue to live their life and work in their profession, and father the pre-person, other persons and wives. If the person does not manage to father a pre-person then the person will die along with their present body, and will live with the gods, having fulfilled their life. I have been alive for 430 years, although my present body has only been alive for 36, and I have already fathered a pre-person from this body. I hope you and all of Varna will find this useful."
The priest's response, if there was one, has been lost to time. The tablet also implies that women were not considered persons.
Thanks to the tablet, the extreme ages of the Okana were finally explained, and already unearthed documents were re-examined, with multiple accounts (including the king list) being re-classified from mythology to history.
Another effect that was noticed was that long lives seemed to spread when the Okana conquered other lands, indicating cultural assimilation. The Varni Empire also had the concept of Okana personhood, and the Moha Empire never quite managed to get rid of it, and the custom remained in the region all the way up to the settling of the region by the Velevii, with the last record of an absurdly long life in the Near East being around 100 AD.
Death Rate in the Position of Hunetian President
The death rate in the office of Hunetian president (excluding Bell Wortz) has been a delightful 40%.
Presidential Deaths Because of Their Terms (Whether During or After)
The rate of death of Hunetian presidents beyond their terms, and because of their terms, has been a measly 60%. However, if you stretch the numbers just a bit, you can say that 80% have died from their terms, including Assolta Felma due to the fact he committed suicide through things that occurred during his term, after his term.
