Yea, its ok to introduce yourself when joining but just try to make it more than one word answers.

The RMB is not as responsive as a text-chat service on your phone. It takes page reloads to grab every new utterance. When you pop in maybe you just want to say a sentence or two?

The bouncing back and forth of one word discussions ends up being the kind of thing that an LC will come in and start suppressing. We have different LC's right now and they are a bit more hard-core about things and if you push them they will not play games for very long. They will suppress a few times and then just kick you out of the region.
