The Results are in, Isna K’nhnjry has won the Tree City GP practice race. Over 57 laps we saw one crash, and four stars. You can read more about it here:

The Race:

Lap 1: Gaja Starek held poll position at the start of the race with Bronislav Láník taking second spot on the grid. Once the flag dropped Bronislav took the inside corner into the bend, he managed to keep Gaja behind him and take first. Towards the back, Yun Wang was fighting with Billy Brown and Jie Tso for 7th place through sector one. In the end Yun took 7th and Jie touched Billy's car costing him a 5 second penalty and in the end two places. In sector 2 and 3 Maxi Rapp overtook both Gaja Starek and Cora Perreira.

Lap 3: On River Straight, Maxi ended up in a battle for 1st with Bronislav, the deciding factor was Pine Corner, where Maxi took the inside and took 1st from Bronislav.

Lap 5: At The Bend, Isna K’nhnjry manages to pass both Glória Antal and Cora, who are fighting for 4th. In the end Isna take 4th and Cora takes 5th, with Glória being overtaken by Yun on the following corner.

Lap 9: The majority of the drivers are pitting to swap from softs to hard and to complete their one mandatory pit stop. Isna and Yun stay out as they are on mediums.

Lap 12: We have a collision between Glória and Jie, with Glória pushing Jie's car into the gravel around City Bend, she has been given a 10 second penalty.

Lap 16: Yun completes his mandatory pit stop and swaps to medium compound tires, this leaves Isna as the only driver left to complete their pit stop. Into River Strait Billy, Brown manages a risky overtake past Glória, nearly scraping the right side of her car. He then continues with a fast overtake past Cora towards the middle of the straight.

Lap 17: Into sector 1, Billy Brown keeps on flying, managing to overtake Gaja at The Bend, again, with only a little bit clearance between the cars. Into Pine Corner and Billy is in a fight for 2nd with Isna and Bronislav, in the end Billy comes out on top with Bronislav taking 3rd as Isna pits.

Lap 19: Onto River Strait, Billy floors it and manages a high-speed overtake past Maxi to take 1st position. At the back, Ajaj Kelka Spayna is attempting to overtake Jie, but he ends up forcing him into the gravel at The Bend, costing him a 10 second penalty.

Lap 23: Isna is back, he manages to pass Bronislav as they enter Finishing Strait and then pushes past Maxi into The Bend.

Lap 27: The two dominators of this race, Billy Brown and Isna K’nhnjry are fighting for 1st place, Isna dives on the inside of The Bend, pushing past Billy, but then Billy flies past Isna on River Strait. And then, at Pine Corner, Isna takes the inside and takes first.

Lap 30: Into The Bend, Yun Wang manages to keep a high speed and pass Bronislav into the second bend.

Lap 31: Crash. Maxi Rapp has hit the barrier at Pine Corner as Yun attempts to overtake them. They were trying to take the outside and power past Yun with their outright speed, but they could not brake in time and ended up smashing the left side of their car into the barriers, ending their race.

Lap 34: Yun Wang manages to get the better of Billy Brown as the enter The Bend, using his car's far superior cornering to overtake him into the first bend. Then, just before Pine Corner, Bronislav comes flying past Billy on the inside, which prevents him from fighting back into Pine Corner.

Lap 35: Jie pushes past Glória at Pine Corner, where he manages to stop her counter attacks afterwards.

Lap 36: At the entrance of River Strait, Gaja manages to take the inside and overtake Cora. At the front, Yun and Isna are battling for 1st, but Pine Corner stops Yun is his tracks, as he is forced to take the outside.

Lap 37: The final lap. Not much excitement, except for at the end, in sector 3, when Gaja attempts to overtake Billy Brown, however, her attacks are blocked, and Billy finishes 1 and a half seconds ahead of her. Isna K’nhnjry has won the race!

Commentator's Conclusion:

Congratulations to Isna K’nhnjry! What an amazing drive we saw from him. We saw a first and last (excluding Maxi's DNF) from the Red Ravens interestingly, and a good placing from Shanghai Electric-Shāqiū. But, this practice has shown us the clear potential of Isna K’nhnjry, Yun Wang, Maxi Rapp and Billy Brown. I think we'll be seeing them a lot in the upcoming races. A bit of a lacking performance from AEN-FlyWay, this circuit seems like their cup of tea, though Cora and Glória were managing pretty well in the first half of the race. Bronislav managed a fine performance, holding 3rd from 2nd poll positions. And that final overtake attempt by Yun, didn't that have us all on the edge of our seats? But I've got to say, my overtake of the day goes to Yun Wang, for his incredible fight with Billy Brown for 2nd, all those overtakes in such a short amount of time, that was quite entertaining. Finally, happy birthday to Tsi Yung, race director for Shanghai Electric-Shāqiū, from 9th to 2nd. WHo wouldn't be happy with that?
