The meeting had been called in the most inconvenient of times: Wickham's daughter was celebrating her 6th birthday, and he had the luck of being the battalion chosen to assist in the situation at Larenia-haberny. Hopefully, he thought, the debriefing would go on without a hitch. "Apparently one of our alliance members has been suffering from some riots, so we've been ordered to help quell these riots peacefully. Arm your men with some of those rubber bullets the police use, and also tear gas and pepper spray."
One of the majors raised his hand. "Sir?"
"Yes, Major O'Riley?"
O'Riley stood up, his hands at their sides.
"What if the rioters shoot at my men? Shouldn't they at least be armed with live ammunition, just in case," Major O'Riley asked. All eyes turned to Wickham, who had also pondered the question himself before the meeting.
"No, Major, they shouldn't. We don't want to cause any accidental civilian casualties if any firefights start to occur," he replied.
"Could we at least compromise on arming their personal firearms with live ammo?"
It took almost a minute before Wickham conceded. "Of course, Major. Sit down."
As Major O'Riley sat down, Lieutenant Colonel John Wickham began to speak again. "Plan's simple: your men are to be dropped by helicopter near the IZ Outpost in Vientra, where the riots are taking place. You should receive further orders once you arrive. That's all. Any questions? None? Good, now if you excuse me, gentlemen, I've got a birthday party to go to. You are all dismissed"

This program allows you to request a card you desire. Then, as soon as one of the nations Card farmer 1 to Card farmer 2000 finds the card, they will gift it to you for free!
This sounds great! Are there any rules?
Yes, there are a few:
You can only request cards if you have are a member of The North Pacific Cards Guild. Your requests remain valid only while you maintain membership.
You can only make one new request per week, or two if you are a Security Councillor, Keeper of the North, or member of the North Pacific Army.
You cannot have more than one active request at once, or two if you are a Security Councillor, Keeper of the North, or member of the North Pacific Army.
You cannot request cards of legendary rarity.
Requests are fulfilled on a first-come-first-served basis.
Cards that have already been transferred from a card farmer nation to The Northern Light do not count.
How do I make card requests?
You can request cards on this forum thread. Make sure to read the rules above first (also listed in the first post of the forum thread).

Why can I not request legendary cards?
Legendary cards are reserved for rewards given through the The North Pacific Card Lottery (see right below), as well as during special regional events.
Who has been gifted cards in the past?
Fulfilled card requests are announced on The North Pacific's RMB. Below you can find a list of all previous announcements. The requesting nations and gifted cards are also tabulated in this Google spreadsheet.

Are there any other ways I can get cards for free?
Yes! The North Pacific Cards Guild runs all sorts of activities that can provide you with, among other things, free cards for your collection. So make sure to check them out.
Additionally, if you are a Keeper of the North, you automatically enter The North Pacific Card Lottery. This gives you a chance to win free legendary cards for your collection.
Finally, you can participate in the executive government and win free legendary and epic cards through the Executive Card Rewards. To maximize the number of cards you can win, you can join the Executive Staff, Cards Guild, and North Pacific Army.
Why are the "Card Farmer" nations gifting us cards?
The government of The North Pacific operates nations Card farmer 1 to Card farmer 2000, and uses them to expand the card collection of regional nation The Northern Light. This includes the cards used for the giveaway.
Can I help?
If you would like to contribute, please feel free to donate cards you do not need to regional nation The Northern Light. We are particularly interested in cards of common rarity, of nations that have ceased to exist, and with eight or fewer owners. Thanks in advance for your cards!

It's pilot talk lol - sigmets are weather warnings/flying conditions. VFR = Visual Flight Rules - pilot can only fly when there is good visibility and a 172 is a light aircraft - Cessna - I thinks that's all right lol
