I think the first part of the last sentence is not really happening, though the rest is bad. There seems to be something left of what some people want men to be (completely stoic strong guys that work their life away and maybe bad teachings on how to go out in the dating scene/world). Standards need to change, a more balanced view of dating needs to be adopted, and future boys must be allowed to move past outdated expectations of what being a man is.

The men being outnumbered in universities part is true, although I dunno about the "colleges discriminating against women" part. I do note though that there is evidence of teachers systematically (although unintentionally I'd hope) grading boys worse than girls for the same sort of work, which is probably a big contributor towards that disparity, both directly and in the sense of kicking off positive feedback loops leading to an ever wider gap.
When women first entered education, those first students were worse off due to systemic reasons and unfairly characterized as stupid or at least ill-suited for education due to that. Hopefully these modern systemic issues being experienced will be fixed to benefit those boys and everyone else by proxy as opposed to regressives falling back on "boys stupid lol" as their counterparts did the other way in the past.
