Cursory use of the forum search function yields me the following and many more:

Feel free to choose. Good luck with your factbook; I've never been good or... admittedly, even terribly interested in military (if you couldn't tell by my stats), so making one would be hard for me. Fortunately, I've canonically passed the military onto private contractors, so I don't even have to worry about that IC either.

Pineapple is found disgusting by my soul.

I'm not too fond of pizzor either, but I quite liked the pizza chili con carne that a restaurant hei zu Lëtzebuerg used to serve.

If you haven't had it though then buffalo chicken pizza is also good.

Well, there isn't really a negative stereotype about Canada per se, but there is a stereotype that we're a really nice, progressive and flawless country that is super clean and there's no poverty and homelessness, while in reality we are just as bad as the US and other western capitalist countries and we've just managed to get away with this lie because we don't get as many visitors as other countries.

I had a discussion once with a pizza vendor who was selling me a pizza Quattro Formaggi (four cheeses). When it was ready, he asked if I wanted some extra parmesan on it. I asked if it was already among the ingredients and, if not, if that wouldn't make it a pizza Cinque Formaggi (five cheeses). He just looked at me like I was some kind of Martian.

Anything further may, in fact, be evidence of Martian ancestry. Just sayin...

Seriously though, as a youngster, my first ever online handle (which I ended up keeping all the way through college) was "Iluvcheese." I received a surprising number of emails over the years, some complaining, some begging, a couple even vaguely threatening, telling me that I had "stolen" the sender's preferred name. Given that I was using that handle before the World Wide Web even existed, I didn't feel much sympathy.

The fact that the cheese industry is so hard to boost without doing terribly un-environmental things makes me sad. I cry a little every time my nation's info page says they're notable for their hatred of cheese!

energy storage technology r and d would receive the highest priority because replacement of conversion sourced energy with incident energy really totally depends on that for making as close as you can get to 100 percent practical. and fuels for conversion energy being finite, and while nature can and does actually add to the stockpile of them in the ground and in the forest, it does so at rates that are really a microscopic of that at which we consuming them, meaning at some point, incident energy (meaning wind and sun mostly, and falling water, the clean(est) sources, is ALL there is going to be. (oil, and by that i mean tar sludge and fracking, sweet crude is for all practical purposes long gone, you can count the number of decades worth of that known to be in the ground on the fingers of one hand. coal, they say there's at least a couple hundred years worth of that, but burning it in ways clean enough to be tolerable is below the event horizon of probability. fissionables are not the magic wand once hoped to be)

i did figure out and post an energy budget along those lines once upon a time. don't know what i did with it. generally solar is the star, but really really that depends on massively increasing storage capacity and the technologies that would give that increase cleanly. two i'm aware of, for stationary storage applications, are a kind of room temperature liquid metal battery, and the other would be magnetically suspended flywheels, carrying and surrounded by coils to charge and load them. onboard storage for self propelled vehicles could use pared counter rotating flywheels to prevent the anti-balance problem they potentially create, though battery technology, those many times longer recycling life then currently more familiar battery technologies, room temperature liquid metal batteries seem the most sensible, practical and easiest to apply.

i do believe cameroi gets more of its power from solar then any single other source, and actually doesn't have nor need a nationwide grid, but instead builds industries that consume massive amounts of electrical or mechanical energy in otherwise relatively remote arias, providing jobs for cameroi, who's culture makes wanting to live in remote areas quite popular, next to modest size resevoirs that feed hydro-turbines. villages are diverse, but go mostly with solar and wind. we also have some geothermal. fissionables are reserved for backup during peek loads, and battery packs for off world robotic explorers.

Huh, I just noticed this but it seems as if Thalassia, much like Philosophy 115 has closed down and the only nation that remains is its founder. Now im not sure if this would warrant a closure of our embassies, but it was I believe the reason we closed embassies with the Federation of Anarchist Communes.

Well spotted! We (the regional government) have been aware of this for some time now and do plan to bring the closure question to you folks in the future. We have other priorities at the moment, though.

Im surprised this hasn't been asked before.

NoE has 15 nature preserves that make up around 60% of the entire country, and 2 of those are open to the public. The largest and most biodiverse is the Southern Amazon River Delta National Park (SARDNP), which comprises a Whopping 4,000,000 Square Kilometres and makes up 30% of all of NoE's territory. It has an estimated 400,000 species inhabiting it, and protects a large portion of the Amazon River Delta.

The surfaces of Parfuhmerie and Shwe Tu Colony probably count for this; both are swampy tropical rainforests, although Shwe's terrain is more so a salt marsh. For notable animals, Parfuhmerie has Dela deer and Shwe has salt marsh crabs.

In the north-central part of the country is the one area in all of Verdant Haven that is not under any kind of shire-level government. This area, located in the Bailiwick of Ridwood, is known as the "unincorporated zone" and is under the direct authority of the Bailiwick-level government. The zone surrounds the mountain known as "The Mother" – the tallest mountain in all Verdant Haven, and one which has immense topographical prominence. Rising 4392m (14410 ft) above sea level, the glaciers of The Mother are the source of the Peacewell River – one of three major navigable inland waterways in Verdant Haven, and the mountain is considered a national symbol.

The unincorporated zone is functionally a national park, and while there are a few small hamlets and individual residents who make their homes there, no significant urbanization is permitted. In the reorganization following federation, the four shires along the northern border of this zone were carved out to grant border communities their own home rule, and to preserve the rest of the wilderness there and prevent future expansion into the as-yet unspoiled foothills. Law enforcement is handled by a combination of the Ridwood Environmental Service and the federal Range Wardens, the former handling matters of public safety and daily assistance, with the latter providing anti-logging, anti-poaching, and backcountry rescue duties.

As far as critters, the Unincorporated Zone is home to an abundance of wildlife. This includes mammals ranging from squirrels and shrews through wolves and mountain lions, and all the way up to bear and elk. Birds include numerous raptors, such as eagles and owls, as well as songbirds and migratory species. It's a bit too chilly for some reptiles and amphibians, but turtles and skinks may be found, as well as other small, hardy specimens. Insect life is abundant, pollinating the vast slopes covered in seasonal wildflowers
