Firelmaur Mardenlands Regional Message Board
"I, myself, am a little excited!" says Barima with a little exited wiggle and a grin.
Terrocasio side-eyes him. "They seem to take up quite a huge amount of resources. I mean," he shrugs, "why not use magick? I mean, our time and history are entirely managed by the stuff! Absolutely nothing can possibly go wrong by embedding such huge, broad systems or concepts into enchanted, physical objects!"
He ignores the reports coming in that two teenagers have somehow stolen the two items and were absolutely about to ruin Terrocasio by method of rewriting history and altering the very flow of time.
"Oh, well you have to consider that most colonies are fully human with no magick users. So I guess they use the most destructive technology they can." answers Barima, but then blurts a thought " But I have been reading up on the topic and I found out that dark magick is more powerful than any separation of atoms. And as well with the help of a demonic familiar it is about ten times more powerful than just that!" Barima says with a maniacal laugh at the end. "though I have no intention of summoning demons any time soon."
Barima runs around the board room, signing papers for who knows what. He finally stops to face the board table with all his associates and partners. "We have a faction now! Whoever wants to participate in doomsday join the FirelmaurMardenlands Faction!" (it is found at the top of this page!)
Barima yaws as he walks into the quite empty office. As he slumps into a chair, he looks at the daily paper. " Cultist this, aliens that. War here, revolution there. UH, everything is the same every day. Work, work, work. Perhaps I need a vacation." Barima sighs waving his news around.
Terrocasio seems to have fallen asleep at his own chair- situated at a rather awkward angle between a window nearby and the table itself, from where it sits at its edge- and at such a yawn he seems to ironically awaken. "Ah-whuh-- vacation?" His words are somewhat slurred, and as he sits his head up-- and adjusts his crown, at that-- he leans back, "Yes, yes! A vacation...I believe my assistant had provided me with a list some time ago of some most desirable vacation spots! Perhaps I can lend you it!"
Barima lifts the flimsy newspaper off his face to reveal that he has been asleep for some time he removes his propped feet off of the court table and stretches. "That would be greatly appreciated. I have also heard of a few vacation points from Cozabia. Maybe we should plan a regional vacation during the summer! Monzolian markets full of the freshest ingredients, Racopta's many national parks, Even Barima's superior beaches." Barima says breathlessly.
Terrocasio looks as though his eardrums have been blown out-- he removes headphones from his ears, staring for a moment(no doubt in order to process the other's words) before nodding in that same, energetic manner. "A tour around the region- how utterly delightful! The hard part is managing funds..." he sighs, "Oh, how my assistant torments me with my spending limit..."
Barima shakes in excitement. "It is settled then, we shall gather all of our individual funds (and possibly some charity) to plan a REGIONAL VACATION!" says Barima very enthusiastically, with a yell at the end. "Now," says Barima as he calms down, "to plan where we go." He looks around the room and sees all his comrades. "Well? I need suggestions, everyone!"
There are crickets.
Aside from Terrocasio, of course, who hurriedly shouts to a very overworked assistant to fetch him a brochure of his nation's many vacation spots. Once it's retrieved, it's sprawled out on his side of that meeting table, and its so large and unbelievably EXPANSIVE that he has to tilt it to where its able to be bent around the table. It wraps around it twice; Terrocasio looks at it proudly.
