if I sell you a product and you pay for it, its fairly earned, that's all amazon does, it sells you products made by other companies under its logo
The most important thing is that it's accessible and cheap (i.e. universal) it doesn't have to be entirely public-funded if that works :P

Yeah and if the money is then delivered by your wage-slave whom you pay very little and still charge me for delivery, it is not fairly earned. That's the thing, lowering ''costs'' that hurts others to increase you personal gain is not fairly earned, even if the price the consumer buying from the company pays might be appropriate.
its in their best interest to make better quality and less expensive options, its called market competition
sadly I agree with you, but the mainstream political parties have gotten everything they want by deceiving masses of people who don't look into it and just do what the parties want.
What if they buy their way through and make a monopoly? What are you then supposed to do, if there's no alternative?
Yahlia, Laver Island, Apabeossie, and Rivierenland
Yes but in things that are necessary for survival or meaningful access to society, competition/market rules should not come into play, because coverage and access of the whole population is the important factor here

they agree to get paid that when they take the job, they could walk away, be hired elsewhere, create their own company, or many other things, its not slavery, you can quit whenever you want. If its a mutual trade, its an earned thing.
If private individuals could do a better job then why don't they?
Jeff Bezos could afford some the world's best working conditions and still have so much money he couldn't spent it all if he wanted to, but does he do that?
No he doesn't
-Workers aren't allowed to take bathroom breaks while on shifts, often 12-hour shift, so the employees are left to piss in bottles at their working stations or risk developing bladder problems because holding in pee for over 6 hours long term is super unhealthy and damaging
-Average pay for an Amazon employee is 15 USD an hour, which still isn't classified to be a living wage, most especially for families in the United States
-Cracking down on unions and coercing employees to vote against unionisation with threats of firings and relocating their workplaces
-In November 2016 a BBC undercover report at Amazon's delivery depot in Avonmouth found that in some instances delivery drivers had no choice but to break the speed limit and use their van as a toilet to save time. It also exposed that after deductions (such as van hire and insurance) drivers could be paid as little as £2.59 per hour, less than half the UK minimum wage
-Firing an employee for demanding a warehouse be closed to be disinfected because letting people work while a disease is present within their workplace is sexy to Bezos
This is just a few things to mention about Amazon, this excludes so many things about Amazon and other companies like Facebook who placed sh*tty contracts on the employees who need therapy after moderating facebook content
The rich don't care about you nor about your welfare, they only care about money and any humanity found in these companies are because of government regulation

create your own company and create market competiton
If you really believe that it is so easy, then I can't help you.
Hint: Walking away from the only source of income whatsoever for the possibility of finding better employment elsewhere is not feasible for a large portion of the population, especially those in low-paying jobs.

you cant bcus you will be priced out or bought up by the monopoly. Just look at luxotica they bought out oakley after almost bankrupting the company
Therefore, how can you say that private people helping each other will be better? Wouldn't it mean that more people can deceive others, as it already happens? Governments can be corrupted, but they're a tool to regulate life and have balance between all the actors in a state/nation: a tool can be used in a good or a bad way, the only difference is how you use it. There is no perfect solution for politics, that's an hard lesson to keep in mind.

"Amazon is one of the companies "potentially directly or indirectly benefiting" from forced Uighur labor according to a report by Australian Strategic Policy Institute.[106]"
Westerners who scream genocide in China is bad while buying from Amazon are hypocrites

best take I've seen all week
This would be the worst take I've seen all week but I've seen a far-right on this RMB and a white supremacist in the forums.
To be fair that's like saying people who dislike capitalism and buy things from Apple or Walmart are hypocrites.
You're forced to partake in Capitalism, you're not forced to buy from a company benefiting from genocide

wanna know why its so high? the government regulations and extortion

they do, ever heard of Gates and other rich people giving away their fortunes? you should stereotype all rich people as greedy and horrible just because of one person *ahem* Bezos
I hear France hasn't been doing too well either hmm, allies in war, allies in ESC it would seem
France are one of the favourites to win this year.
also, some of their past entries this decade were pretty fine (the entries from 2016 and onwards of course, not talking about their entries between 2011 and 2015)
amazon is dumbest buissness ever cya

This year, yeah. But the UK has sent some good songs too in the past 20 years, so I was just responding to Orient's (uncalled for) attack in a similar manner
Alright that's fair, but you also have to remember the common man/woman protesting against the Uyghur treatment probably don't know about Amazon benefitting from the horrible treatments and labor, so they are more clueless than hypocrites if anything.
No, it's because Americans are inherently selfish
