Icecube life... This sucks :]
I can't stop smiling because the ice froze it over... :]
I hate this :]

Yeah welcome to winter!
Where you will absolutely want to die from frostbite by just taking a shower as far down as Veracruz.
And you need a jacket; 20 cm away from your coal fire, to be even remotely warm.

On the plus side, no mosquitoes. That’s it for the pluses.

Remember: in winter, stay away from Canada, Greenland, Europe and Russia.

Viva 25°C weather!
Viva Heat!

And worst of all, it's just rain with no snow here in the UK

If you read this endorse Leviggo

No mosquietos? I disagree. I got bitten by a musquieto yesterday. It was below freezing days before. How did that musqiueto survive, you ask? It couldn’t. There was no way that it could survive. ZOMBIE MUSQUIETOS.

You know how insects are. You kill one, 5000 more from 50 different species appear.
Of which: you are sure 45 of those species didn’t exist last year. 20 didnt exist yesterday. And all of them are undocumented

However.
It is not winter yet, Winter starts 21 Dec. (where I’m from at least)

Weird about joking about winter when it’s autumn, but yeah.

Kronverg wrote:Greetings, Europeans! Today is a very special day for Kronverg, as it is my national birthday! My country is turning 1 year old!🎉

Congratulations! The first year is perhaps the most valuable and memorable. And you reminded me of one thing... Skalliad also turns one year old today, just as it's been a year since I've been here in Europe (I joined the region on my first day). I had my doubts for a few months about whether to register here, but finally made the decision and it turned out to be the right one. I immediately fell in love with the game, and it gave me the opportunity to do what I love - writing various stories and texts for the lore. And I just want to thank everyone for the opportunity to communicate with you, for your jokes, and for your support! I hope this is not my last year in NS and Europe. See you in a year!

Having a serious health problems is always difficult. Many people fear for their lives at such times, and it is depressing. It can also be a significant financial burden. And finally, it's a difficult experience for loved ones. But it doesn't always end badly. Just believe that it will happen to you too, and things will get better. It's only temporary. Thank you for being with us, and I wish you to get diagnosed soon and start getting the right treatment!

Iskalland wrote:I’m going to get a little sappy here, but I think it’s time to share some things.
This past year has truly been the hardest of my life. I’ve been through so much and I’m still working through it. For context, I developed a life threatening cardiac condition last year, and since then, I’ve had three near death experiences. I’ve been in and out of the hospital, undergoing terrible, invasive testing to try and get answers as to why this is happening (I actually have another PET scan tomorrow and can’t eat for 24 hours 😅) because I have a perfectly normal looking heart. Navigating all of this in a confusing healthcare system, while being away from my loved ones has been incredibly difficult. But through it all, this community here on NationStates and the amazing people I’ve met in Europe have been a bright spot. It’s been incredibly meaningful to me to foster relationships with you all, and I can genuinely say that it has kept me somewhat sane during the darkest moments. Despite dealing with PTSD, depression, and all the challenges that come with my health having you all here has been a source of comfort. Here's to another year in Europe!

I deeply and sincerely hope that that can all be sorted out for, but in the meantime I'm glad you're here. You are a great addition to the region and a valued member of our community. I'm thrilled that we've been able to help, even indirectly :3

Alright I've been more active here than the UK, time to move the portal of doom over here.

KAKAKAKKAKA US Internal Revenue Service has one of the highest tax evasion rates of the region, oh the irony

What is the age limit for the Europe regional forums?

Incorrect! That is actually the "Freedom From Taxation" stat, meaning we actually have one of the lowest tax rates of the region!

Now THATS ironic to me really. And a Benevolent Dictatorship as well!

Wouldnt that be the "taxation" stat that would show how high or low your tax rates are? Im pretty sure "freedom from taxation" is a more friendly way to say "tax evasion/fraud"

The Stat info states "in order to determine which placed the lowest tax burden on their citizens."
Which STATE placed the lowest burden. Not Evasion.
Also we are in the top 97% for the most taxation, which means we basically have less taxes than most countrys

Can’t tax money that’s been put to “charitable furniture restoration”.

Indeed, although we don't talk about if I bribed the WA people or not to show false stats.
Totally one of the best places to live.

You mean the World Census?

They are associated with the WA generally, but yes, I do.

This is just the IRS.
