Madison and Wisconsin Baseball Tournament - Quarterfinals, Day 3
With three of the four quarterfinals series decided after two games, there is just one more series remaining. The #2 Carthage Firebirds and #3 Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors are tied at 1 game each. This game will break the tie and send one of those teams to the semifinals.
At Franklin Field in Franklin, the #2 Carthage Firebirds of Kenosha played the #3 Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors of Wauwatosa, with Carthage being the designated home team. Carthage played strongly throughout the game, having a 5-2 lead at the end of the 8th inning. However, Wisconsin Lutheran scored 3 runs in the 9th inning, forcing extra innings to break the 5-5 tie. Carthage scored a walk-off run in the bottom of the 10th inning, giving them the 6-5 victory in 10 innings. Carthage wins the series 2-1 and moves onto the semifinals. Wisconsin Lutheran is eliminated from the tournament.

The semifinals will be best-of-3. For the first and third games, the higher seeded team will be the designated home team, and the lower seeded team will be the designated home team for the second games. The two remaining teams will play in the National Series, to be held at Miller Park in Milwaukee, WI.

International Hockey Tournament
Our poll has concluded to determine the sport we will play in our first international tournament. With 3 votes, ice hockey will be played at the tournament! More information about team registration will be announced soon. All member nations/citizen nations of Dont Tread On Me are eligible to send one team to the tournament. If you were hoping to have the tournament be for a different sport, do not worry - we will be having more tournaments in the future with other sports.

Dont Tread On Me's first presidential election is scheduled for October 1, with candidate registration and campaigning taking place during the week before the election. Additionally, the Citizens Council, which passes laws, is also open to all citizens interested in joining. Dont Tread On Me - International Hockey League
Dont Tread On Me is now registering teams for an international ice hockey league! This will be our region's first sports league. All residents of the region are invited to register one team each in the league. Only one team per nation/person, please. If you're not a hockey fan, we will also have more sports leagues in the future. The deadline for registration is September 26, although I may extend the deadine.
In order to register, please send the following via telegram to Madison and Wisconsin:
