Dear Friends,

One week has now passed since the close of the Nominations Poll, which means that Campaign Week is now over. No further campaigning is permitted at this time, and will be considered spam (i.e. suppressed).

I am very pleased to announce the launch of our Forest Keeper Election Poll of March 2024! Our candidates are, in alphabetical order:

This poll will run for three days, and will end with either the formal announcement of our next Forest Keeper (should a candidate secure 50% +1 of the validly-cast votes), or else with the immediate launch of the Runoff Poll (should no candidate secure a majority, in which case the top two nations will advance to a runoff).

Mechanically, this poll is open to all WA resident nations of Forest, but only votes cast by the nations listed on the Roster of Eligible Voters who have maintained their residency and WA status will be counted towards the total. Invalidly cast votes will not affect the total.

So that everyone can check the votes against the official list, here is the Roster of Eligible Voters for this election again. Please excuse the length of this post; if it is in spoilers, nations will not get the notice that they have been mentioned in this very important post.

As always, I encourage everyone who is able to cast their vote! The Forest Keeper sets the tone and direction of the region for the next six months, and democracies are only as strong as their level of citizen involvement, among other things. We have had a superb campaign week and an excellent slate of candidates, so let’s carry the torch to the finish line!
