Foes in Tahuriya Falter

After weeks of vicious fighting, Stickacian forces have broken through National Revitalization League defences and linked up with Feimarian forces holding Trachiandros. The encircled remainder of the NRL forces continue to hold out in the mountains east of the city. The withdrawal of Lebatuckese support seems to have had a severe effect on the ability of the NWC to continue fighting. The encircled forces holding the oilfields of Southern Tahuriya have been wiped out, and several thousand NRL soldiers have surrendered. Asar al-Asari, the leader of the organization, has not yet been located.

In the north, the NWC has likewise been almost destroyed. Aside from a few isolated compounds, held by organization’s Karaz Legion, the majority of the NWC’s territory has been seized, and most of its members have deserted. Many have taken the Stralan offer of refuge, and over thirty thousand fighters and their families have turned themselves over to Stickacian units claiming Stralan protection.
