You are correct. This process is covered under Article 4 of the Constitution.

- The current poll runs for one week, and is the "sign up" poll. Those who vote "Yes" are indicating their desire to be on the ballot for Forest Keeper. Any resident may sign up.

- At the conclusion of this poll, an additional one week period will follow during which time candidates present their platforms, answer questions, and carry out their campaigns.

- At the end of the campaign week, a poll will be posted with all eligible candidates listed as options. All nations who were both present and in the WA at the time the sign-ups began (see the list Ruinenlust posted) can vote for the candidate they believe should win office. This poll will run for three days, and additional campaigning is prohibited.

The Constitution covers things like primaries and run-offs as well if they are needed for various reasons, such as no candidate achieving a majority, but the above summarizes a "standard" election procedure.

Take note - we are probably going to experience the N-Day event in the middle of campaign week. I expect Ruinenlust will have temporary N-Day officers in place to assist with regional guidance for that event. The event doesn't have any effect on our election process.
