Region: Confederation of Corrupt Dictators
The village was calm, the traders sold their watermelons and their tobacco quietly. Children were playing in the empty street.
Suddenly, 4 armored cars appeared at full speed, rushing towards the village square. The children returned to their mothers and the traders closed their stores or hastily tidied up. Armored cars stopped in front of a house. Machine guns pointed at the windows.
A muscular, gorilla-like man, beret on his head and sunglasses stepped out of one of the vehicles with his automatic rifle. He shouted in a loud voice:
"Vamos! We clean everything, shoot on sight, you in the backyard, you stay here and the others follow me."
Heavily armed paramilitary soldiers followed the man. Three soldiers smashed down the fragile wooden door and went inside. Shots were fired.
About 14 minutes later, the colonel and his men brought out three bloody men, while some soldiers poured gasoline into the building.
Colonel Juan lined up the men with their backs to the wall and followed by his men aimed his rifle at the men.
"You, who supplied you with weapons?"
The bruised man was bleeding profusely from one leg but stood with dignity. He replied in a deep voice:
"Death to Guillermo the-"
A volley pierced his body and he fell face down on the ground. Juan approached the second man and asked him:
"Do you want to end up like your buddy? So you'll answer me and we'll take you to a doctor. No harm will be done to you. Come on and answer."
The man replied :
"It's .. It's Bertino Gochela, he lives in Esperanzia"
Juan smiled and gently patted his cheek.
"See? It was not difficult ..."
He walked over to one of the armored cars and nodded at the gaze of the paramilitary captain. They fired. The two men slowly collapsed. The soldiers fired again on the bodies while the other soldiers threw a match in the house. The fire instantly set the building ablaze. The soldiers got back into their respective vehicles and left the village noisily.
