I don’t know, Americans do like talking about funny clothing like the red coats or zoot suits and we’re getting plenty of funny clothing in these riots.
I bet if we just started naming thing after what they wear then we’d have an easier time remembering. Instead of the boring “2016 riots” or “presidential riots” or “the capital hill break in thing”
We could just call it “Blackshirts, no not those black shirts, vs the Animals in plaid riots of the 2nd noughties”
