Though Islam did not reach the British Isles and Northwestern Europe in the same manner or time period as was the case in the Balkans, its not too particularly hard to imagine a synthesis, especially when one considers that Christianity coopted and rebranded Pagan customs and observances doing so on behalf of the church and in an effort to convince the non-believer to embrace the faith without compromising their heritage.
