Wish that I can show you a meme from Sgag that portrays when a Sgporean born from MY (i guess) misses M'sian food on Ramadan. :D I guess we share many similar traditional iconic food that are usually appear when Ramadan comes. Or maybe the BoD of UEI can make other polls and have a discussion on this kind of topic as a motion, IDK, maybe we can discuss about what usually happen in our respective countries when Ramadan or other religious days come from socio-economics factor.

Once again, the flag is cool IMO. Anyway, Hope you (and other members of UEI as well) are doing fine wherever you are at this moment. Take care, guys. 29 more days to go, insyā Allāh.

If I made a poll about food, the list of options would stretch on forever lol

How's the Ramadan environment in your parts? Is it back to how it used to be or are things still restricted?

Day one of Fasting complete.

Other than working yesterday I did rather well though I suspect that my memory slipped twice. (Had a Dr. Pepper because I'm creature of habit xD)

Itfar was Fish, Potatoes, and Green Beans with water, black coffee, and a mix of nuts and fruit.

How about yourself, Comrade?

Hahaha.. IDK, that could be the case. When it comes to food, everyone has their own preference to what they like. Apart from that thing, the socio-economic aspect of religious festivities such as Ramadan that came across to my mind is interesting to be discussed as I remembered that some critics thought that us, Muslims (for example in this case), wasteful in spending our money and lost to grasp the true spirit of Ramadan as a self-criticism (if the critics are Muslim).

About the pandemic in my region, generally speaking, it's been like the pandemic is over, although there are more than 12.400s confirmed cases and more than 450s people who are already dead up to this day as reported from the provincial government website for the city where I live. Social-distancing is not fully maintained in the road, street stalls, kiosks or stores by the people, let alone Masjid in my area is full of people when Tarawih and Jum'ah salahs take place. This happens maybe because of the vaccine has been available, people are waiting to get the shot, but unfortunately they are not maintaining the protocol appropriately. Nevertheless, governmental institutions, medical clinics and hospital are fully maintaining the Health Protocols. Majority of people with masks can easily be seen in public places while others just do not care about it.

So what about you, brother? How is life in your city?
