The Southern Dependencies wrote:Since I cannot decide who should be General Secretary of the Communist Party, I'll let the public decide. You might wanna read our history because it mentions some of the candidates, do so here.

Here's the link: https://strawpoll.com/jVyG8Ba0Yn7

Here's some info on each candidate:

Bartolo Leon
Age: 72
Background: Premier from 2002-2014. During his time there was a fear of economic collapse. However, the 1st five year plan of the millennium (2001-2006) saw a major upturn in economic output and the decline in unemployment. Many critics, in the old guard of the Communist Party, feared a move away from Communist ideals and as a result rigged local elections in 2006 to be in favour of more traditional communist party members.

John Norman Pritchard
Age: 64/65
Background: son of the late Premier Idwal Pritchard, who saw the occupation and annexation of the Falklands.
Info: much like his father Ideal, J.N. Pritchard is a believer in the idea of more western style of Government/soft communism. Similarly he has called for modernisation within the Supreme Soviet to make it more diverse politically. However, he is also deeply mistrusted due to several financial scandals and an affair with his mistress.
Info: Bartolo Leon has not been highly involved in the upper echelons of the Communist Party and most consider him a compromise between the Liberal Pritchard and the Conservative López de Lacalle.

Prudencio López de Lacalle
Age: 58
Background: Head of Comisariado del Pueblo para la Seguridad del Estado (the People's Commissariat for State Security).
Info: López de Lacelle is considered on the more conservative side of the Communist Party, a firm believer in the cult of personality forged by the first General Secretary of the Communist Party, Rodolfo Vicente. He is often regarded by the west as dangerous and too sympathetic towards China and Russia, especially in regard to their recent actions toward Taiwan and Ukraine.

If you want more info on candidates, I can happily answer.

Go vote please.

The last time a Russian leader was in charge of the country for as long Putin has been, Russia was still an absolute monarchy under the Tzars.

And last time Serbia had a president that reigned as long as Vučić today, we had Milosević.

It's creative, I'll give you that. Meatrider would be much worse

EDIT: I found what you were talking about. They were not talking about it as an insult, but the context you used it in
