I am pacing the floor because there is still no answer from General Berents. Then there is a knock on our door; We have a special knock so we know our enemies aren’t there. I ask who it is first, and a guy says he has a telegram for me, so I open the door, sign the pad, and shut the door, and instantly started reading the telegram. “Oh no...” I say while reading the telegram. “What is it ma’am?” Susan asks while hovering over my shoulder. “General Berents was wounded in France, and his outcome doesn’t look so good” I say while putting down the telegram with a sigh. “What do we do now?” Susan asked with tears forming in her eyes. “Well. I guess we tell the army what happened, then tell them to do your idea.” I say while walking over to our radio. I pick up the speaker and say, “Men, are you there?” I ask calmly, too calmly. “Yes ma’am. What’s wrong? Did something happen?” Johnson asked worriedly. I sighed before answering. “General Berents was wounded in France, and his outcome doesn’t look so good.” I said with tears forming in my eyes. There was silence for a couple of minutes, and I thought they might have hung up the radio. “They are probably processing the news.” Susan said and I nodded in agreement. “What do you want us to do ma’am?” Johnson asked, trying to sound fine, but he sounded like he was holding back a cry. I hesitated before answering. “We will go on with Susan’s idea for Plan B.” I said. “Okay. We will leave late morning.” He said, sounding better. “You don’t have to go so soon, you can wait another day.” I said. “No ma’am. We are going in the morning. There is no reason to let this news slow us down.” He said, sounding determined. “Okay, if that is what you want. Good luck.” I said. “Over and out” was all he said. After I hung up the radio, I went to sit down, and I just stared into space, thinking...

Johnson hung up the radio, and stared at everyone. “I will go tell everyone else.” He said with a sigh while leaving the wagon. He walked to all of the other wagons, told them about his conversation with the President, and then came back to his wagon. Everyone was quiet and were hanging there heads. Captain Smith stood up and spoke. “Okay men. I know the news we received was hard, but this is why we must fight! Let’s not let his pain go in vain! Let’s win this war for him! Pour le Général Berents!” (For General Berents!) Captain Smith shouted. Everyone looked at each other, made a small smile, and shouted, “Pour le Général Berents!”

With Europe firmly under 
Allouxiaian control and resources coming into Allouxia from it's conquered Scandinavian territory the Reichswehr prepared to launch Operation Sea Lion, the invasion of the Velcro, the major threat to Allouxia in the West. The Kriegsmarine every since the invasion of 
Uniopolis had been rebuilding, at last it possessed the power to launch an overseas invasion. Three fleets steamed across the channel, ahead of them Luftwaffe aircraft including Heinkel 111 bombers, Ju-87 Stukas, and Messerschmidt BF-109s flying as escort.

The three fleets had arrived, " Alle batterien eröffnen das feuer!!" (All batteries open fire!!) a thundering barrage broke the silence as thousands of tons of shells were fired simultaneously, the KMS Bismarck was among the invasion fleet, its 15 inch guns sounded like thunder breaking through the sky, after a short while the sounds of countless explosions began to go off as communications centers and power stations went up in smoke. On troop carrier ships the Infantry began to descent onto their landing craft.

BF-109s came screeching in and opened fire on R.A.F. aircraft ripping them to shreds, the invasion was not a suprise one as the enemy had time to see the massive invasion force gathered on the other side of the channel, however they knew an invasion was imminent but did not know when. AA battery crews tried to run to their guns but were mowed down by BF-109s flying overhead.

Operation Sea Lion has commenced, the first wave have made it onto the beaches and are beginigng to set up a beachhead for Panzers and other armor to come ashore, the Kriegsmarine has also begun bombardment of coastal cities, the Luftwaffe has reported that priority targets have been destroyed but the R.A.F. has not been completely annihilated yet, their airfields further inland still pose a threat but one we should be able to manage" Spoke now Field Marshal Wolfram Germar. "What about Sakiria? We should strike them now, they think all our attention is on Velcro if we were to strike them now they would be caught off guard" proposed a General. "Attack them now only to find ourselves in another two front war? Do you not remember how poorly that went for us the last time? No, we must erradicate our enemies to the West before we begin our conquest of the East. Patience, in time shall the communist dogs face the wrath of the Reich". Said Field Marshal Germar.

Looking at the situation, Sakiria reluctantly joins the Allies, knowing that Allouxia will backstab them in the name of unity. In the conference room in London, Britain, this came true. "Privyet, Chancellor of Velcro. I have come to let my nation join the Allies." the president of Sakiria said. "But why? Why? Are you going to invade us later?" Chancellor Winston Churchill blurted out. "Nyet. I fear Allouxia will backstab Sakiria to be done with their conquest. So when Sakiria is openly opposing Allouxia with you and the others as allies, they are less likely to attack. Also, you may need some extra firepower too, judging from your situation." she replied. "Fine. Join the Allies. But one thing,
sign this." the chancellor said, stoicly. This was the London-Moscow treaty, saying that Sakiria will be allied with the Allies, allowed to switch sides, and must help them out when needed and be militarily passive in Europe after the war. "Okay then." President Lyudmila Kurinova replied, signing the piece of paper that would change the war. The people of Velcro cheered as the treaty was signed and broadcasted to the world, while Allouxia was silently worrying over the military might of Sakiria. Later that month, it was September 20, 1943. 2 Sovetsky Soyuz-class battleships (Sovetskaya Rossiya (flagship of the navy and of Admiral Pyotr Valinsky's fleet, and Sovetsky Soyuz), 1 Bolshevik class carrier (entire class remodeled into a carrier) (Revolyutsii) and 4 destroyers (SNS Yulë (repaired), SNS Archshikar, SNS Yon'ski and SNS Irt'ysh) sailed from St. Petersburg, and refueling at N.Denmark towards the Velcroan channel. There they saw KMS Bismarck, 50 000 tonnes of raw naval power, with it's escorts of the heavy cruiser KMS Admiral Hipper and 3 Type 1936 A destroyers. The Sakirian main fleet (Sovetsky-class siblings and Revolyutsii) began to go into an assault formation. Meanwhile, the DD (destroyer) escorts began an intense firefight with each other. 130mm shells were flying through the sky, while torpedoes swarmed the waters. 2 of each side sank, hearing the chaos over head, KMS Admiral Hipper sailed towards the remaining DDs. As soon as it arrived, 2 of the surviving Sakirian destroyers spam launched torpedoes, most of which hit the rear of the Allouxian heavy cruiser. In return, KMS Admiral Hipper fired it's 10-inch guns, loaded with AP shells, at the Sakirian destroyers. Both of which sank after a few shots. "Escort fleet! Escort Fleet!" Admiral Pyotr Valinsky screamed at the radio as the explosions were heard on the radio. "Captain Kyle Erutrinov, sail to the Eastern Velcroan Strait at 32 knots!" he ordered his captain. Admiral Pyotr Valinsky was on the radio, "Main fleet, follow me!" he ordered. The journey took long, about 4 hours. The destroyers, Z24 and Z25 retreated to S. Denmark for resupplying of ammo and fuel. Meanwhile, KMS Admiral Hipper sunk cargo ship after cargo ship, depraving the Velcroan soldiers crucial supplies. While KMS Bismarck provided artillery support. "Sir!" one of the crew members shouted, pointing outside the command center. "What is it?" Admiral Günther Lütjens replied, walking outside the command center. "Are those.........reinforcements or more enemies?" he continued. "Here is the binoculars, sir." the crew member replied. As soon as Admiral Lütjens looked through the binoculars, he shivered in terror at what he saw. He saw the Sakirian flag flying over a carrier's superstructure and over 2 BBs' (battleship(s)) citadels. Yes, that same Sakirian main fleet. Sakirian planes began to swarm the sky and 15-inch HE and AP shells rained from above. Hearing the chaos outside, Captain Ernst Lindemann commanded his men to focus fire on the 2 battleships. "I'm not having him (the ship, IRL!Cpt. Ernst Lindemann called the ship "he", saying it was too strong to be a "she") getting shot under mein ass (IRL!Lindemann also said this line, but replace "him" with "this ship"), focus fire on the Sakirian fleet!" he ordered. AP shells rained on the 2 battleships, severely damaging Sovetskaya Rossiya. Explosions shook the flagship like a giant breeze of a tornado shaking a city. "Revolyutsii, I WANT EVERY PLANE ON THAT DECK IN THE SKY NOW!" Admiral Pyotr ordered. Swarms of Mikoyan-Gurevich fighter aircraft, and Polikarpov dive bombers dominated the sky above as they rained bombs on the Allouxian battleship. 2 of flagship's turrets were destroyed in the hellish rain. "Admiral Hipper, get over here right now! We need fire support!" Admiral Lütjens screamed on the radio as explosions and the screaming of men were heard. KMS Admiral Hipper took the long journey back, while KMS Bismarck was retaliating with everything it has, all 3 battleships were severely damaged. Then, the final shell came. It hit the Allouxian battleship's 6-inch ammo storage. The ship was split in two and capsized some time later. Allouxian sailors were screaming for help as the sea drowned them. Among the only survivors were a distraught Cpt. Lindemann and his ship's cat, Oskar.

Luftwaffe squadrons fly over the cities of Velcro and Allouxian men step foot on the land. This was a big turning point for the war, would the allies fall? Flak cannons try to shoot down enemy aircraft but it would cause even more destruction as they fall to the ground. The Allouxian Navy obliterated the southern coast of Velcro as they bombarded the cities to the ground, this made the people of Velcro more hopeless. But the help of Sakiria prevented further destruction. This was a major point that could've made the Axis Powers win but the Axis betrayed itself.
- The Liberated Uniopolis Cities
The cities were protected by Velcroan soldiers patrolling the streets, but that wasn't enough. The cities were reliberated by the Allouxians, every city was surrounded by enemy troops, they were truly doomed. The screams of Velcroan men fill the streets as they die. The supply line was cut and the expeditionary army was left to die.
- Paris, Uniopolis
This was it, the final destination, if the allies recapture Paris from the Allouxians they will have changed the tides of war that will be in favor of the allies. But that was not the outcome. The soldiers charge to the city, shooting enemies littered in the streets, but they were overpowered by the Allouxians, they were surrounded by enemy troops, being shot down one by one, this was it, this was the end. The men try to fight their way out but alas, they failed. Three soldiers survived and surrendered to the enemies, they were held as POWs and they were transported to the capital city of Allouxia, Reichen.

Velcro (ˈvɛl.kroʊ), commonly known as The Most Humble Federation of Velcro and officially known as The Federation of Velcro is a nation in the region of Wintreath and a member of The World Assembly. The nation is considered as a first-world country and has excellent scientific advancement putting the nation at the top 10% for the most scientifically advanced of nations.
The nation is also highly influential in the region being considered a Vassal. Velcro is a federation consisting of 8 states and an estimated population of 157 million. The nation is widely known for its beautiful environment, technological marvels and kind and accepting citizens.
According to the World Census, Velcro has one of the most high-value "decks" with a deck value of 140+ bank putting the nation at the top 1% mark. Additionally Velcro has 90+ endorsements from other nations putting the nation of Velcro at the top 2%
Velcro's name was originally Crovia back when it was still a kingdom but it was later changed to Velcro by
President Darwin B. Lovewin since he described the nation's people as "sticking together no matter what, but when separated, heard aloud"
The Elwicks and settlers created the Kingdom of Crovia after breaking their isolationist ways and starting anew, they ruled for 543 years until the king was assassinated before even having an heir. The next family to rule were the Greenes, they were the most famous family since they were the ones to have defeated the rival kingdom of Grigsor and they ruled the land with fairness, they ruled up to 992 years, the longest dynasty to ever rule the Kingdom of Crovia. The next family was the Ferduses, they were the least known family but still have a descendant until today who is Norman B. Ferdus, the other descendant who is famous is President Frank B. Ferdus, they ruled up to 637 years.
The next and most infamous one is the Rynns, they were dictators and the last family to rule the Kingdom of Crovia, they ruled up to 652 years until the Crovian Revolution which spawned the Republic of Crovia which was spearheaded by President John E. Browning.
Years after came the Commonwealth of Crovia which didn't last long and soon was replaced by the Federation of Crovia. In the administration of President Alex B. Ferdus, the Great Velcroan Revolution happen resulting in the creation of Great Velcro, a nation currently in a bitter relationship with Velcro.
In the election of President Darwin B. Lovewin he changed the name of Crovia to Velcro, many people suspected that he was part of the Total Corruption Organization since he has shown signs of membership of the TCO, thus resulting in Velcroan Civil War, the war lasted for 6 years and had casualties reaching the millions.
President Drake A. Doorman is the most infamous president after prioritizing economy over environment which had catastrophic consequences which resulted in the "Dark Ages" that killed many citizens and littered the streets with dead bodies, protests were held outside of the capitol, Vice President Christian E. Sherman petitioned the impeachment of Drake Doorman which won and made Christian Sherman the President of Velcro, the people also petitioned that Christian Sherman have a full term instead of serving the last three years that Drake Doorman had left. President Christian E. Sherman is now the current leader of Velcro and is adored by the public for being a good president.The next election year will be at 2026.

The Greenes bribed the Grigsorian king to pretend that they were defeated. President Frank B. Ferdus looked exactly like the first Ferdus king. The coastal areas of Velcro are prone to storms and hurricanes causing minor to major damage. The eastern areas are more mountainous than the western areas with the highest point being Mount Armbridge in Stanningford with the height of 3,984 m (13070.87 ft) and the Hangman's Drop in New Torrence with an elevation of -103 m (-337.92 ft). The western areas are more flat with very few hills making the areas crowded with farmlands. The center portion of the country commonly known as the "Great Green", is mostly consisting of woodlands since they are marked as nature preservation areas.
Flora and fauna
Flora in Velcro is extremely diverse with many different species of plants and trees making the sight of nature stunning and beautiful. The ecosystem of Velcro is highly diverse with many species of plants and animals located at the Great Green. Poaching in the Great Green is illegal and punishable by law, but hunting to an extent is legal since there are many endangered species located in the Great Green. The ecosystems in Velcro is unaffected by climate change for the long term due to its location and vast amount of trees.
The nation of Velcro has an estimated population of 157 million, ranking very low according to the World Census. A census is taken every 5 years with the first ever census taken at 1825.
The birthrate for the nation is one child every minute, and the population growth rate is 1.1% due to immigration. The largest ancestry groups were the Velcroan, Grigsorian, Suthers and Mirguoso. 42% of the population are Velcroan, 28% are Grigsorian, 18% are Altiks, 7% are Parcifians and 5% are other races. Criticisms based on race is prohibited and punishable by law, policemen who treat other races differently are immediately fired.
English is the national language, 67% speak English as their first language, 23% speak Old Crovian as their first language due to some local schools still using Old Crovian as the language for teaching, 8% speak Ruglic as their first language and 2% speak Russian as their first language. Old Crovian is still preserved even if it is not the official language, there are chances that Old Crovian may become the official language but today it is not likely.
Most of the population identify as atheists with 73% of the population nonbelievers, 12% are Christian, 7% are Buddhists, 5% are Mormons and 3% are all other faiths collectively. Atheism is steadily increasing since the president is also atheist, but criticisms based on raced is prohibited.
Native Velcroans and Immigrants were asked to answer a survey on how good life in Velcro is. 89% answered "Good", 9% answered "Could Be Better" and 2% answered "Bad".
Death rate in Velcro has been estimated to be one death every 3 minutes, the leading cause of death in Velcro is old age followed by being lost in the wilderness, horse attacks and suicide, specifically during police custody. The average lifespan in Velcro is 91 years.
Capital punishment in Velcro is legal, only for crimes such as murder, manslaughter, and other crimes that have to do with the death of an individual. The chosen punishment for capital punishment is lethal injection.
Law enforcement in Velcro is primarily the responsibility of local police departments and town tarlovs, the town tarlovs are in charge of patrolling the town and providing temporary help before the local police department takes action, they can also act as witnesses and can use weapons such as batons and tasers when necessary, state police provides broader services. In Velcro, police departments are split into two branches, the cops and detectives, cops being those who enforce the law and is the first stage of criminal arrest and the detectives as the second stage of criminal arrest when evidence is lacking and are those who collect information to arrest criminals suspected of committing the crime. The Investigations Bureau of Velcro (IBV) have far special duties assigned such as protecting civil rights, national security and enforcing Velcroan Federal Courts rulings and federal laws.
The Federation of Velcro is a Federal Presidential Constitutional Republic comprising of 8 states which is led by an elected president. The Constitution of Velcro is the second highest legal authority with the Supreme Court being the first. Corruption in Velcro is low according to the World Census' calculations. The current president of Velcro is Christian Sherman and is the 15th president following Drake A. Doorman.
There are three levels of government: local, state and federal government
- Local Government: Manages the police, fire and hospital workforce. Protects private property and distributes relief goods in time of disasters.
State Government: In charge of education, infrastructure and taxation. May shut down facilities in times of disasters.
Federal Government: Capitol located at New Berdeville City, New Berdeville. The Federal Government is in charge of national defense, foreign policy, trade, commerce and guarantees basic human rights.
The Federal Government is split into three branches:
- Executive: Led by the President. Can reject legislation, appoint cabinet members., and is commander-in-chief of the army.
Legislative: Made up of the Senate and House of Representatives. Writes federal law, declares war, allocate federal funds, approve of trade routes, approve of alliance membership, and approve of treaties.
Judicial: Made up of the Supreme Court and lower courts. Has the power of Judicial Review and highest legal authority.
Foreign relations The nation prefers to take matters in more civilized and diplomatic ways, the nation is currently participating in The World Assembly and part of the region Wintreath.The nation currently has eight allies, two in neutral relations, one enemy and three trade partners. It has 4 embassies with other nations. In most conflicts, Velcro has shown to be more into ending conflicts with handshakes and reasoning. Velcro is top 10% for the highest foreign aid budgets.

Military The military is led by the Department of Defense, the president is the commander-in-chief and is split into four branches: the Hailstorm Air Force, the Navy, the Volkens and the Interstellar Force. All of these branches operate professionally and have no other occupation. When a war breaks out, all reserve troops will be activated and military will be reestablished. Conscription in Velcro is legal and the legal age for conscription is 18-24 years, conscription will last for 1-2 years based on the individuals decision.
Though budget on national defense in low due to pacifism, there has been one project from the VGRI (Velcroan General Research Institute) that still, follows pacifist ways while also helping national defense, that project is Project Fear, the project is still awaiting approval from The World Assembly and Wintreath but has gotten some good opinions from other nations in Wintreath.

Science and technology The nation has an ongoing space program that has reached another solar system nearby, the solar system has been named Gonas and is being studied right now and is awaiting further examination and experimentation, such as terraforming and maybe even planetary bases.
Velcro has excellent scientific advantage that has been shown to be quite impressive, though Velcro isn't the leader of scientific advancement it is still a prominent figure in the scientific world. Though it isn't a the top 10% of largest manufacturing sectors, they are still a big figure in the manufacturing world, ever since factory electrification and the recent foundation of eco-friendly factories, they have been one of the biggest manufacturing heavyweights. The Velcroan General Research Institute (VGRI) has helped research many solutions to problems such as pollution, climate change and even interstellar travel, this recent discovery has created a new branch in the military known as the Interstellar Force.

“Okay men! You know what we must do. You know why we must do it. So let’s go out there and fight!” Captain Smith shouted. Everyone cheered and ran out of their hiding spot. They made it into the woods, and stealthily walked through it, trying to find Allouxian camps. Then, they found a big one. Everyone was eating their lunch. Instead of letting them have a chance to fight, threw a small bomb. The French were far away enough to not get hurt. After the smoke cleared, there was silence. No one survived. Everyone mentally cheered in their heads, and moved on past the camp. There was no way that they went undetected. While they were traveling through the woods, the heard Allouxian soldiers running to the bombed camp, but before they got the chance to, the French Army threw a bomb at them, and again, no one survived. They kept running through the woods, and every time Allouxian soldiers ran through the woods near them, they blew them up to bits. When they broke free of the woods, they were faced with an Army of Allouxian soldiers. They started to open fire, and the French that were in the front fired back, and the soldiers behind threw bombs at them. It was brutal. Screams and smoke filled the air. Then, all was silent. The Allouxians lost this battle, but the French couldn’t celebrate yet. They moved into the town, and were faced with more soldiers. They did the same as they did last time, and again, the French won this battle. The French lost some men, and many were wounded. Phase A of Plan B was completed. Before they could be faced with more soldiers, they picked up the wounded, and they returned to their camp, but not through the way they came in. When they made it to their camp, they had a few men keep watch by hiding in the bushes. When everyone returned to their wagons, everyone whispered cheered. They were all happy that they were able to complete Phase A without fleeing like last time. Johnson went to the radio to tell the President the good news.
My hiding spot
I was just finishing lunch when Johnson spoke through the radio. “Ma’am, are you there?” Johnson asked excitedly. I ran to the radio and picked up the speaker. “Yes, I’m here. By the sound of your voice, I assume you completed Phase A successfully.” I asked, just as excited. “Yes ma’am, we did. We did lose a few men though, and more were wounded, but the Allouxians weren’t so fortunate.” He replied. “I am so glad you all did well. Take the rest of the day to rest. Tomorrow you start Phase B.” I said. “Yes ma’am! Good bye!” Johnson said while hanging up the radio, still a bit excited. “Good bye and good luck.” I said, then hung up the radio. Me and Susan did a victory dance around the room, then went back to clean up the table from lunch.
