The was lit up as the sun was setting, as the lights of the surrounding Canineian city turned on. Ambassador Dels was enjoying his dinner before one of the diplomats rushed in.
"####, we have an issue." he informed the Ambassador, who seemed shocked.
"Inform me, you seem like you just came home from Yugobatania, what the hell is going on." the Ambassador asked in a shocked manner as he got up from his seat and walked towards one of his staff.
"Apparently something happened sir, relating to Canineian Naval Forces, though they won't say much. All they're saying is that the Canineian embassy is empty, and that we need to bug out." the staff informed as he showed a message straight from Itallitopia's Office of Foreign Affairs.
"S###, we can't even make it out of here if we had the equipment, and I sure as hell am not walking past an entire army probably without a single firearm." Dels said he began walking into the hallway.
"Grab what you need, hopefully we'll be out of here within a few minutes. We're bugging out, and hopefully we can extract from this island." Dels said as he entered his room, grabbing a pack and beginning to pack.
"And what if we are captured?" his staff member asked.
"Then you tell them everything you know, which is literally nothing because we're kept in the dark about these situations." the ambassador added as he closed the bag, filled with cash, a knife, food, and water, as well as an IR beacon and transponder.
"Affirmative, I'll inform the OFA of our plans." the staff member added before running off to pack his own bags.
It would be a long night.

The Entirety of western Santamar is currently being devastated by a massive wildfire. The states of Ianura, Timbal, and western Ianura have declared a state of emergency and many ancient native cities with wooden buildings have been evacuated.
The wildfire has been worsened by the drought and heatwave that the country is currently experiencing.
