With wide support, the Witan has passed a new anti-slavery law. The law allows the Amongling navy to capture any slave ships, or ships carrying slaves, within Amongland’s national waters. Slavers on the ships will be detained and prosecuted, while the slaves will be deported to any countries that will accept them.
Slavery has been illegal in Amongland for years and years, but this new law gives Amongland the power to fight it more aggressively in our own home region. Amongland, as a peninsular nation, places great emphasis on the security of her waters.
