As things ramped up on the border, the DoD began ramping up air defenses within the nation as well as mobilizing the Provincial Guard, the Air Force, and the Navy. Prime Minister has been given full authority to do whatever they wish as Government has deemed that a possible war was on the horizon.

On the home front the PSH began a full crack down on any far-leftist sympathizers or supporters. Shutting down news outlets that aligned to the far-left and cracking down public meetings or organizations that affiliated with far-left sentiments. Unions have also began to be busted and workers rights were allowed to be trampled on as for preparations war seemed imminent due to Otyken’s reluctance to back down. Believing that they are building up to launch a full scale war with bombers already in the air.

On the mainland the situation was much more dire with right-wing Militia groups lynching or arresting suspected spies or far-leftist sympathizers. Torturing them for information or to get them to plead their guilt to the courts. Militia groups have went as far as to now planning terror attacks with possible incursions into the border of Otyken to conduct damage to the opponent so as to keep Honalulu safe.

Some Militias have gained control of civilian ships and headed to Otyken’s ports with the intent of creating a stir in the port and to cut down the port authorities in the targeted ports.

RP: Coastal Orders
An order was given out to sink any non-Imperial Naval Ship that fires at any ships within the Empire's Territorial Waters, which it defines as extending up to 16 km from the baseline of the shores at low time. The orders declare that no warnings or warning shots are to be given. These orders were given only to the Navy, so that such an order was not made public.

The coastal forces raised readiness seeing the Honoluites moving around, and a battle plan had been drafted should the need arise; they had plenty of time to fly drones around for months, getting lots of information combined with traditional satellite methods. Planes and vehicles have been fueled up. But things really started when they saw civilian ships headed nearby; attempts had been made to hail them, but they figured it was the terrorists once again, which the Otykense were starting to think were state-sponsored because of notable censorship arising towards the opposition within Honolulu.

With the potential of their projects being at risk from suicide bombers, some quads and an aircraft were dispatched. Then, soon after, trucks on the coast launched a salvo of Anti-Ship missiles at the incoming vessels; they embodied overkill with UHE warheads, the sea-skimming weapons guided by a multi-way datalink to explode the boats. After this action had been performed, they would flick their defences fully online with 24/7 airspace monitoring and deployment of UUVs with Supercav 12.7mm turrets to protect the boats underwater.

Directors Diplomatic Purge
Altan Khan, the Director of the Continental Board, has recently removed Director Secretary Temir Beg from office and Board Chairman Arslan Nyam, replacing them with Yeong Mee-Kyong as the new Director Secretary and Myo Eui as the Board Chairwoman. The reason for the shakeup was unclear and may have been performed by a QAI hiring model to provide the Board with better leadership, though people are beginning to wonder if Altan Khan is even a real person as the great leader, scientist, and master technocrat never appears on media or attends events.

Diplomacy
After a meeting with Anheldac, Otyken has expanded diplomacy with them, including Embassies, Mutual Seaport/Airport Access, and trade on the Otykenese Isles. Additionally, they discussed plans for a future railway system.

Markets?!
With the addition of freer markets on the islands, Otyken found itself having a higher surge of internal tourism, with locals spending their TEC to go by plane or boat to visit and experience firsthand mysterious products from overseas that aren't No-name brands. There was an unusual surge of Western influences out in the aisles.

RP: Monarchists' Line, Part II
In order to speed up the construction of the Monarchists' Line, the 81st Division and thousands of construction workers have been placed on construction duty, hoping to reduce the construction time to December 21st, 2005. The division of soldiers would be there mostly to dig the trenches, while the job of pouring concrete and constructing the bunkers, themselves would be left to the construction crews. The specialized artillery is currently being produced. Some geographical challenges are present due to the increased elevation to the central and western side of the northern border. Much of the nation's resources are being poured into the completion of the Monarchists' Line. Some border crossings may become unavailable at certain times, as some roads and railways would need to be temporarily removed while the trenches are built through those areas, after which the roads and railways will be reconnected. With tensions rising, the priority of this project has exceeded the priority of practically every other project.

Once rockets were fired 2 frigates were alerted and fired their anti-air missiles along with anti-ground missiles at the targets. Believing that Otyken has made an attempt to fire munition onto civilian ship in order to provoke an attack from Honalulu.

DoD had been notified of the incident and the Prime Minister. Soon after conscription had been mandated with the militias being nationalized and used as military assets in the war effort.

Combat Aircrafts remained on the defense staying within their airspace whereas artilleries were prepared to fire across the border. Navy has began to mobilize to assist on the skirmishes their Navel assets and Otyken’s military assets have found themselves at. With mine hunters and anti-submarine helicopters doing search and destroy missions within their maritime oceans. Submarines have also been dispatched as well to deal with incursions.

Many of the unorganized militias within Honalulu found this their final justification to attack Otyken and took to their hands to cross the border or kill Otyken border patrols and soldiers. While the Army itself had remained on the defensive position and began building up more military units on the border. With many having vehicles and other assets to support a more elastic defense rather than entrench themselves in their positions. Many of these vehicles were civilian vehicles with not much indication of them being a military asset.

War had been set and the Prime Minister had declared Otyken’s missile barrage upon one of their civilian ships as an act of war.

Acceptance
Otyken had assumed the boats were terrorists but made no attempts to argue this or ratify the misunderstanding, standing by the decision they had made. The declaration would rapidly reach the highest levels of command, and soon after, a formal response of acceptance was sent in the form of a letter signed personally by Altan Khan. They, too, were fed up with the Honolulu complaining about the pollution and aggressive militants that the Honolulu government had done so little to prevent.

First Strike / Moving in
Otyken's Carrier Strike Group would move to Sauvaki's coastal region to begin operations, numerous ships getting into position such as Missile Trackers, Mine Sweepers/Layers, Gunboats, Missile Boats, Submarine Chasers, Supply Ships, and an X-Band radar. A huge fleet of various submarines to interdict. Because of the Aquatic Enemy they were facing, Otyken was forced to use virtually all of its UUV stocks to protect the ships from suicide bombers and had to move all of the drone tenders to the battlezone for this purpose. They wasted no time to start performing cruise missile launches against key locations in Sauvaki that had been marked, such as power systems, radar emplacements, fuel stocks, enemy ships and communications, firing a total of 59 cruise missiles in the first day alone. However, they made no advancements on the Honolulus islands, just keeping a defensive stance.

Aircraft had been given the green light and transmitted the Qcrypted battle plans with approved targets, they had taken flight from air bases on land and not the Supercarrier, most of them J-30 Storm Dragons IIIs, some equipped with various AAM, and Anti-Radiation missiles, while others had Small Diameter Bombs and Assorted Glide Bombs and minimal AAMs, the mission was to clean up after the cruise missiles and engage the Honolulu Airforce and destroy airbases and missile trucks. The fighter bombers stationed at the industrial zone were tasked with attacking docks and enemy ships utilizing missiles and larger glide bomb payloads.

The army would begin their advance, though evidently, that clash would intensify later as they could not outpace missiles and fighter craft, even though the army was the readiest to go. The army would open by sending in tanks, armoured personnel carriers, self-propelled guns of various types, infantry fighting vehicles, helicopters, attack helicopters, armoured troop transports, and supply trucks; their primary action in this early stage was sending rocket artillery barrages and a not insignificant quantity of surveillance drones, atgm drones, DKD, and kamikaze drones to give them a clearer picture of what is to come and some extra cover. Further inland, the Army had prepared their ABM equipment, though intelligence was unsure of if Honolulu possessed any.

Honalulu fighters would be outnumbered but have their military dispersed into several places. As the fighters took down fuel depots and comms towers in Sauvaki the military began an initiative of having civilians and military assets stockpile fuel canisters in order to use for the war effort. Gas stations would be nationalized and be free to use for military vehicles and military assets as soldiers were ordered to decentralize their fuel supplies.

Honulite Soldiers even took to decentralizing their command. With communications down and the forward March of the Otyken Army towards the border more leadership and command power has been given to Staff Sergeants and Corporals rather than Generals or Captains when acting. Allowing for asymmetric warfare to take place rather than a more conventional form of war.

Sauvaki was mostly Savanah with part of its border with Otyken being a desert. Most of the army decided to move themselves to Otarange where they could use the forests as a means for cover.

Within the Islands and the West of Honalulu. tunnel networks had been in works as well as traps set up in the jungles and rainforests. Honalulu troops along with the locals that live there would use the knowledge of their environment to their advantage.

In Sauvaki teams who had a sniper would stay in the Savanah’s taking shots at Otyken soldiers before retreating into foxholes that they dug or others fought in the urban environments or beaches until they either retreated into the waters or died trying to hold their ground.

On the Ocean civilian ships were made into patrol boats for the Navy with the anti-air frigates and surface-to-surface missiles used to target fuel depots in Otyken’s frontline to slow down their mechanical and aerial forces. Anti-Air Frigates targeted any missiles that may be launched at them or target enemy aircrafts. Submarines began hunting for Otyken Subs within their waters while Landing Platform Docks also began searches for Subs with their Anti-Sun Helicopters. Mine Hunters keeping up their usual mine hunt.

The Air Force put their aircrafts in air and anti-air systems and defenses went active. Aircrafts were only ordered to bait Otyken Aircrafts into Anti-Air positions where they can lock on and fire. It is advised that the pilots fly low and close to airbase in the case Otyken launches a stealth fighter so as Aircrafts can intercept any missiles coming from enemy stealth fighters to strike the airbase before they reach their target.

Cities would be also be fortified with infrastructures being set up to blow in the case Otyken reach them. Police officer and citizens with a police or military history were equipped with military grade gear while other civilians were trained to act as Home Guardsmen in the case Otyken troops showed no mercy or intent of taking any prisoners.

Though while Cities on the islands had anti-air defenses and surface-to-surface missiles within their grasp. Mainland cities didn’t have any of those luxuries due to the military stripping most of their strength away. With only very few anti-air defenses within their reach.

The Prime Minister didn’t expect to win this war, though had hopes they can draw the war long enough to either flip the tides in a miracle or burden Otyken into a costly war of attrition.

December 31st 2001 was the day the shots fired. . . And hopefully Honalulu will not be lost as the year turned.

RP: Honolulu-Otyken War II

Blood in the Savannah
The Otykenese forces had been flooding into the Savannah, and they did have months to build up with a great deal of equipment stationed here; one could find no shortage of armored vehicles rolling into towns accompanied by troopers. However, as they moved in and began urban shelling operations, it was becoming clear that the Honolulu armed forces were moving back; Otyken was a little disappointed as this complicated things; meeting the enemy in the grasslands would have been a cakewalk. Soon after this realization, they had been getting reports of being engaged by small asymmetrical groups with small firefights erupting across the province. When Otyken had shelled areas, many of the Artillery Shells, Rocket Artillery, and Mortar Shells were precision-guided, often with a multi-way link with very low collateral. The Otykenese Soldiers had treated the civilians well despite them being vastly different. They offered medical aid from their armored hospital trucks and supplies, a distinct lack of malice, but it was still early. However, if the citizens were combatants and armed, they would be shot still without enthusiasm. The Army was most active during night time, Fusion-NVG was pretty standard kit, and it was sweltering during the daytime and quite dusty. Since they are still near their border, a notable amount of pollutants made the region seem apocalyptic, a situation not helped by the grass fires caused by the weapons.

Rocketry & Airpower
In the skies with AEW&C and assorted Drones circled like vultures, the Otykenese Airforce had engaged the Honolulu Airforce; indeed, many were aggressive and fell victim to air defenses to catch a kill; the lucky ones had outrun missiles pushing the Exo-RDE engines to the limit. With counter barrages, inbound anti-missile trucks fired into the skies to intercept the night sky frequently flashing with explosions of missiles, and evidently, some would slip past, hitting fuel stocks and other targets, even factories in Otyken's back lines in one particular incident a massive lithium fire had occurred which was indeed one of the most successful strikes an enemy had done on their soil. A bit late to the situation, some transport craft would drop paratroopers into key positions to assist in encircling the Honolulu forces combined with Attack Helicopter CAS.

The bombers had sent dozens of missiles at Honolulu ships or released payloads at shipyards (Exclusively in Sauvaki) if they couldn't locate a Naval target. The command had soon forbade aircraft to operate outside of this province and had given the order to secure it and wait and for the aircraft to strive for air superiority there. This was a tall order because of its size, but the Airforce and Army would comply to secure ground here and crush the resistance or shove them in the direction they were falling back to.

Oceans
The Submarines and Destroyers continued heavy usage of Cruise Missiles (An additional 133 of them) to attack further inland and at Sauvaki still or against air bases and other naval ships, in closer engagements using actual sea skimmers or torpedoes in active hunts. The Frigates would shoot down missiles at the behest of missile tracker ships or fire Anti-Air missiles at aircraft they could see to keep their Supercarrier safe; smaller civilian craft had been attacked by gunboats and missile boats which kept close to the shore or, in some instances, attacking coastal targets. The Supercarrier had at long last started launching aircraft to hunt the ASW helicopters/aircraft Honolulu had to give the Hunter-Killers more flexibility.

The Objective
Otyken was going to exclusively focus on Sauvaki until it has been secured, a not insignificant area that is expected to take months even in the best circumstances; the goal of this overall operation may be to expand the ultimate goal of the Technate a prospect the Board has hotly discussed on if the stars are suitable for such a thing. But still, there was a great deal of Savannah, Aircraft, and Ships to quell before they could open a dialogue like that with the Honolulu government.

RP: Reformation on the Military

In the national hearing that was mandatory for all branches, The Air Force made HUGE strides that even the Navy and Land Force branches Could have done with the following:

The Air Force was busy testing something that would help the Eurofighter typhoon be basically not left alone and would do the fighting as well... With the Empire deleting what was the Stealth Bomber technology and all of the said research... There was only... ONE... That survive the purge... Nicknamed 'Supreme Aerial War Mk.III-Ptype I', This was the pieces they needed for their project that was hopefully the given answers and took nearly 34 YEARS to have. But this heavily detailed plan just confirmed many of the Theories that was in their own research, and would announce that the new class known as the 'F-22 Raptor' is not just online but also in service with a near 100 planes through the next 10 Years as it will take not only time- Some will be outfitted to be carrier comparative.

The Navy adopted a new philosophy that slowly started to see it's benefits, Long range war of aerial domination... That is right- Aircraft Production. The Navy started to Build a second Nimitz Class Aircraft which would be finished in seven years (Due to some problems and modernization updates) and decided to also add three more Dokdo-class amphibious assault ships to have a more faster responses but now the big question is now... Logistics, They had barely survived in the naval war but also noticed... Something and it was that they put some of the things was just basic ammunition as they didn't had factories. Which they decided to own only 1.4% of the manufacturing power, and slowly raise some quotas which they rewarded with extra benefits like a nice month fully paid vacation or a nice bonus. They say that some critical things like Air-to-Air missiles in all planes (Plus the Raptor), And started to have a surplus that was Destroyer bullets.

Tanks, Artillery, and Missile Launcher galore- They where producing quite the equipment that would be used but with the new tanks they slowly started to think... What about a tank with an artillery? They slowly went to the drawing board to find that answer. But the new tanks, M1 Abrams, Was turning out to be a success as a good amount of holes that it's predecessor had was somewhat fixed throughout the projected expectations. Question is now simple: Upgrades, Lots and lots of upgrades... But that was a question for later as their production lines was overfilled and yet underutilized in both ways.

With directions from port-authorities, they managed to make landfall in a spot of the docks intended for trading, surrounded by lumbering cargo ships, they provided easy access towards a nearby connected train-station for transit into Sillisil, to be outfitted with six coaches to accommodate for their dear visitors.

While the coasts would be relatively unaffected by Melkira’s Curse, all thanks to their general proximity, any attempts to gain intel about the inland parts of Seibalath would return inaccurate readings that didn’t match up to one another. It would seem like long-range reconnaissance was being tampered with by an unknown phenomena.

Any magi conjuring spells on the way, as they reached the port of Mor-glai, would notice the properties of their arts being inconsistent with their intended effects. Ambient mana was laden in the air, polluting every crack and corner. It only affected spells that were casted through an open medium, like those of the scryers, with machines remaining unaffected by the phenomena. They could expect this anomaly to worsen the more inland they would go, where leftover mana was incapable of dispersing.

It would be dangerous to recklessly cast spells, especially if their levels were beyond mere cantrips. The same anomalous property would affect satellite imaging and radar, its effects were centered upon the center of Eleutheria, where the former capital of their predecessor state was located.

Twenty five units belonging to the Evergreen Legion surround the cruiser ship Ollenor, all of except two, presumably their captain and a flag-bearer, pointed their barrels to the open shore, and fired six rounds of bullets to salute the arrival of their visitors. They wore grey-green uniforms of ceremonial nature, and stood proud of their heritage, saluting as they finished their volley.

    Port Report : Mor-Glai

"A person can only be born in one place. However, he may die several times elsewhere: in the exiles and prisons, and in a homeland transformed by the occupation and oppression into a nightmare." - Mahmoud Darwish

Mor-glai is city under the administration of the Evergreen Legion. It is known locally as the "Spike City", named for the general ugliness of the city, made up of many ramshackle huts from its local slum-lands. Mor-glai has traditionally been the only city where non-Serren peoples were permitted into, and has since then returned to that status following the re-establishment of the Kingdom of Sirsensal by Commander-in-Chief Vita.

The Serren weren't a welcoming culture, this was made obvious by the status of non-elven races. Although they weren't actively oppressed, or enslaved like the days of the old, they were only recognized as second-class citizens due to the legion's focus on traditionalism. A vast majority of the slum-lands were made up of Hudyars, internationally known as orcs, who were forcibly resettled into the lands of Sirsensal by the Pilaks before the Rapturing. It was densely populated, even more so than the capital of Sillisil, who had recently transported the rest of their Hudyar population to this place.

Blood in the Savannah

Wrestling in the Savannah’s

While Otykenese soldiers and armored vehicles made their way through the nation and into rural settlements and urban areas. Honalulu fighters met them with resistance through urban ambushes and civilian resistance. Many civilians and military personnel took to the small ports of Sauvaki in order to prepare to evacuate to the islands. While others kept on the good fight.

Not many were equipped with NVG’s but Southern Absukians made up for it with their eyes being adapted to see in the dark areas while other Absukians were equipped with the little amount of NVG’s the army had.

Nighttime fighting was sparse as most Absukians either fled under the night with Southern Absukians guiding them or Southern Absukians arming themselves up to retaliate against the Otyken Soldiers that trekked in the night.

Many citizens fled due to the war or pollution and would take to the ports or head over to the next province to either flee from the war or to settle there. While troops and militias were handed out medical supplies first then civilians afterward so as to keep them fighting.

Though civilians in captured areas would either remain compliant with their occupiers for now while those with far-right wing sentiments or fears would go berserk against their occupiers believing that those that had given up were all leftist sympathizers. More so the truth is that not all were radical but many still rather like to keep their heads and brains intact rather than have it splattered onto the wall. Not to say that there was still animosity between the general populace and the Otyken. While some Leftist and dissidents accepted them in open arms, other leftist and groups didn’t.

Over the Air

Honalulu’s Air Force played it mostly safe with them mostly staying around anti-air defense systems vicinity. Though when transport aircrafts arrived into Honalulu Airspace. Some Squadrons made daring moves to try and attempt to shoot them down before reaching their destination. Knowing that if they landed they could try and take down key points and jeopardize their positions.

Bases lost to the missile barrages would order decommissioning and stripping aircrafts apart as well as taking fuel supply if the enemy couldn’t get to hit the target. Ordered to flee while those that had been lost to Otykenese soldiers could only move the aircrafts that were in the air to another base. While the rest either had the time to flee or surrender.

At night RPG nests would go live and fire upon any helicopters that ran through their line of sight and would quickly pack up and reposition elsewhere before enemies could arrive.

There weren’t any Military naval bases on Sauvaki but small civilian ports were being used as evacuation centers for both military personnel and civilians. Depending on how Otyken May see the situation they may be striking two birds with one stone by bombing military assets as well as civilian ships that may be converted into military ships. Or simply not go over with the plan.

Ocean

The Navy stretched itself thin with Frigates and offshore Patrol boats were placed near Sauvaki Shores to get rid of Otyken gunboats that may fire upon civilian ships or protect them from enemy aircrafts.

Frigates and subs also begin an active hunt for Otyken subs and Aircrafts. With Frigates staying near Landing Platform Docks so as they don’t get targeted by aircrafts or missiles when trying to take out their ASW helicopters. Helicopters were also ordered to play it safe given their mobility lacked more than an aircraft.

Government

With Communication cut from Sauvaki the government had no way of finding out what the exact situation is on the ground. Though Command has assured her that things are going as planned though they are unsure how Otyken’s government or army high command have reacted to their strategy. Nevertheless the plan isn’t to invade Otyken but to tire them out. It is unsure as of now if the plan will work given that they have a vast industrial base but it was their only shot at going up against Otyken.

Though as the war draws out the populace weren’t too happy with the governments decision to let Otyken soldier stroll into the nation and takeover. To the point which even reports of Otyken soldiers treating civilians well had allowed for protestors to call for a peace and that the war was not winnable and a loss of lives over just a few mistakes which the Otyken government were able to clean up. Mostly from the left and moderate spectrum which populated the islands.

Thus on early February the Government would try and open negotiations with Otyken and send their delegation team to the nation in order to discuss either a armistice in the war or a peace deal. With mounting public pressure as well as public image of Otyken forces acting more like angels rather than devils than what Honalulu had hoped for. Honalulu’s government went into damage control.

It was not uncommon for unknown ships to cross the border on accident, especially due to pirate activity in northern part of the Patima Sea. The dispatcher messaging to the ships was, thus, expecting a lost trading barge with its convoy, chased south by the pirates.

Second Conference on Varya
_______________

    { 71ya Randa Valia, 27ya Ioa ó Elron, 11 Yavannië }

    [ 71st Valian Cycle, 27th Year of Elron | 11 September 2001 Kalranian ]

_______________

With the success of the first conference in Kristreyri, Eldamari diplomats have moved to initiate a second conference with Laurentiean leaders to solidify the agreements made in the first. The stunning diplomatic victory championed by Ambassadors Voronando and Aranelion has led to no small amount of speculation that either ambassador will rise to become the future Secretary of State, not to mention heaps of praise from moderate politicians and citizens. Still, the poltical scene is rife with intrigue in the vaunted halls of the Nórëa Combë as rivaling sides of the political spectrum claw for greater influence to enforce their own agendas. Per usual, the nationalist coalition has been advocating for stricter resolutions to benefit the displaced elven peoples while the Govannists support the easing of tensions.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has now reached out to their counterparts in Laurentiea for a second conference on the matter of the subject. The proposed location is the city of Orleans within the proposed Joint Control Zone. A tour of the region has also been proposed as a part of diplomatic proceedings, as it is expected the future joint regent, Duke Eldandil of Varya (Sindarin: Eldandil di Varya), will join in proceedings and wishes to visit the future lands over which he will be ruling. It now stands for the Laurentiean king and his ministers to make good on their promises from a few months past, lest the armies of Eldamar be mobilized once more.

RP: Honolulu-Otyken War III

Savannah Fire
Grassland fires paired with the pollution gave the Savannah an almost omnipresent haze and scent of fire. The area was still easy to traverse, making for rapid progress over the coming months, self-propelled and towed equipment heading to urban centers, shelling them out for armored assault and helicopters to swoop in. The Otykenese forces had been quite heavy-handed against militia fighters, rarely taking them prisoner as often they assumed them to be part of the nationalists when inside urban centers, the otykenese Army would hunt down the nationalists or often call airstrikes on them. The left-wing parties that supported the otykenese would naturally receive special privileges, the army having made a sizeable logistical line and would frequently airdrop stuff and reinforcements.

During the nighttime battles, because it was far cooler, it didn't take long for them to notice in the aftermath of that, the ones that had caused the most harm had a specific type of Absukian in the Squadrons, which caused a far higher success rate during the shootouts. This caused the Otykenese to perform some arrests on the Southern Absukians of fighting age and bring them to camps, where they were permitted to bring their families. Even the slightest suspicion of them being combatants would warrant them being brought to the camps. The locals weren't informed where the Southerners were being taken, but numerous arrests would be happening in cities and towns. Those fleeing to the ports had been left alone by the Otykense; sometimes, armored vehicles would patrol near the migrants and hand out water bottles, though they didn't give them any fuel for their cars.

Aerial
Some helicopters had been shot down out in the Savannah; others avoided the rockets with countermeasures and raining lead or semi-precision rockets on the perpetrators through the night vision implements aboard the aircraft

Due to a distinct lack of targets and orders to stay within the province, the Vombers had unfortunately hit some civilian docks and boats, having to make a judgment call on what they were being used for, or in some instances, they'd support the army often by overkill for the amount of payload they had leveling defensive positions or enemy artillery equipment and depots this had the pilots feeling highly underutilized.

Any surrendered people were taken to some camps in the backlines closer to the supply routes that utilized primarily trucks because of the grassland environment but sometimes airdrops. The Southerners were separated from the rest to ensure the night fighters didn't escape.

Oceanic
After the initial weeks of high-intensity fighting and ships lost, the ocean had become far less exciting; the gunboats, ASW, and missile boats, along with counter ships doing their things and the occasional cruise missile or Anti-Ship missile launch, Otyken seemed to be making a slow advance to control the territorial waters and sweeping it's advance with UUVs and Helicopters, likely they had planned to lock down the area.

Government
At the current rate they expected to be able to subdue the province within a few more months at the current rate, the terrain and proximity to their industrial base and transit systems had made this relatively cost effective for the sheer scope of the operation, though missing aircraft and some ocean craft was a heavy cost they could eat that, but they knew it couldn't stay like this forever and that the Absukians had been moving to the jungles to go full guerrilla and bait an island hoping campaign, while the Otykenese were more than comfortable at fighting in the jungle island hoping would cause attrition quickly and though the heat and smog of the Savannah was annoying being in the jungle during the upcoming rain season was less than ideal and would certainly make them less enthusiastic, so far the government has kept the soldiers behaving many of them however were radical Kencheerists which had the foreign relations department on the edge of their seat waiting for them to do something lunatic.

A week after the message in February, the government had responded and agreed to a meeting which would be dispatching Myo Eui, the Continental Board Chairwoman, and Yun Iseul, a military mechatronic technocrat. Though they didn't have particularly high hopes as there was a tall order they wanted fulfilled at the behest of Altan.

RP: Human Supremist Protests; March, 2002
The Second Empire of Averius is currently experiencing protests by human supremists in the Vale. The movement the protestors are advocating for is independence from the Empire. The supremists claim without evidence that humans have practically no say in the run of the government, which is dominated by non-human species. The humans are calling for humans to either be given more say in government or they will declare independence. The Empire is currently investigating the situation. There is an estimated 100,000 humans in support of this movement.

RP: Glóavið

The Gander lowered down to attach itself to one of the many mooring mast buoys scattered around of the southern docking area of the Greater Glóavið island. With the Northern westerlies trip back east always go faster then heading back west less cost in energy aswell Cece thought as the automatic locks finally sealed. Cece would stand up from the ships command chair and walk over to where Aurata Chaf was stationed at the ships helm a cyber sprite connected to most of the vessels systems. "Locking has been completed?" Cece would ask her helmsman. "Connections to the mooring mast has been completed the Gander is secured Captain." Aurata would reply in this monotone voice. Cece would give a nod in response. "Let the rest of the crew know they have permission to shoreleave. I have business at the Heart if anyone asks." Cece would flutter off to the one of the hatch doors the camera would zoom in at her before the door would give off a beep and a light flashes a light purple before automatically opening. Cece would flutter down toward the dock area where a rather fluffy frazzled looking sprite would be waiting. "Excuse me is this your airship you need to pay the docking fee and grant access to your ship logs." The dockmaster would wheeze out while holding out a datapad. Cece would wave her data bracelet over the pad. "Cece has paid tripled the docking fee if you forgo the log." Cece says to the older sprite. "Thank you Captain Cece and there may have been an error in the log transfer. Please enjoy your stay on Glóavið." The dockmaster wheezes out as he slowly flutters back to the port building.

RP: Welcome to Port Affine

Cece fluttered up the winding paved road to the city proper. It seemed to be busy enough with other sprites along with tourist from elsewhere bustling each direction from harbor to inland. Cece would make it to the city gate after a few minutes where she would head up to one of the guards stationed there. "Cece is needing to get in contact with the High Commissioner office." Cece asks one of the offices wearing the Glóavið badge on their belt. "May I ask why?" The guard would ask plainly. "Official business from Owlet's Commissioner office." Cece would pull out the metal box with the seal of Owlet on it from her pouch showing it to the guard. "I will send a message ahead for you Cece was it?" The guard questions while they start to start to fiddle with their data tablet. "Cece is Cece so that is correct easier to let the office know ahead of time lines you know." Cece would say in turn the guard would give a nod along with a shrug. "They know you will be heading over now." The guard would say having finished this transaction would go back to his duty. Cece herself would continue into the city fluttering down the road. Several larger of the tourist building would have been newly renovated for the nonnatives of the island. Most of the smaller sprite dwellings would on the main streets would be painted in bright colours but those off the beaten path would show signs of weathered ware. These would be in cluster boxes on poles unlike the more cheerful one hanging from trees, mega-murshroom, or taller builders. Cece would make it to the main Commissioners office a large tower like structure near the center of the city. She would enter thru one of the sprite entrances and make her way to one of the less busy side desks and talk with the clerk there. "Cece is here with a package for the Commissioner. If a level three signature could be given I will be on my way." Cece would take the box out of her pouch and set it on the desk for the clerk to see. "Secured data from Owlet? Cece you said I believe there was a message chat a while ago somewhere that you where on your way here. I will send a message to the upper floor to get your signature and data transfer ready for the transaction." The clerk would type onto a set of keys their eyes hidden behind a pair of deep blood orange tinted glassed. Their desk would be cluttered with a number of papers falling out of trays near the back corner from behind the desk a waste bin could be seen overfilled with emptied drink pouches. Cece's eyes would scan the rest of the room while waiting on the clerks supervisor to make their way down. Most of the others on the ground floor were sprites doing their daily tasks but there was a few foreigners there aswell waiting at another desk. Maybe a dze, humans, and maybe one of the humans could be a elf or ryuviri. They kind of looked the same but did taste different maybe it was from the hats Cece thought on why she had trouble figuring out what they were. "You needed something signed for?" It seems the supervisor appeared while Cece was in deep thought about hats. "If Cece could have your data signature Cece can be on her way unless if you need anything sent back westward?" Cece would hold out her arm with the data bracelet on it. In turn the supervisor would extend their own bracelet to clink with Cece's own. "Perhaps if you could wait here for a while I believe one of the council members did have a personal package I don't believe it was ready yet. I can return shortly to let you know." Cece would give a nod and wait always easy money delivering items between commissioners offices.
