The creation of the Department of Goya
In an attempt to increase the autonomy of the Goya Overseas Region, located in Nonscio, and which has had 3 drops in its marketing volume so far in 2034, deputies of the Parliamentary Republican Party proposed the idea of the "Department" as an Autonomous entity that conglomerates the Provinces of Somé and Playabán and the territory of Goya.
The department is a superior legal entity to the province, because it has its own power in its judicial affairs, its economic agreements and can even negotiate diplomatically with other countries, but limited to commercial and cultural exchange, as well as the construction of a Special Legation of the department within an embassy of Atrocha.
The Department of Goya is a mechanism of greater independence from the metropolis, mainly in the economic way. This will allow Goya to have bargaining power on its own on the issue of its territorial waters or transit through its territory. In terms of defense and currency, however, it still depends on Atrocha.
The Department of Goya will include: the Federal Province of Somé, the Federal Province of Playabán, the Federal District of Quilon, and the Federal District of Zocodever. The provinces would continue to have the same status as any other Atrochana province, and the federal districts would have a similar level of administration to the city of Corales.
The proposal is still under discussion, but it is thought to be a first step towards the decentralization and economic independence of the Goya region.
Tl; dr: Goya has become much more expensive to maintain because of the wars, so they are given more independence.

I went to the US embassy in Buenos Aires to sign some stuff, but I made a mistake so I had to leave and come back around 2-3 hours later? Anyway, there was this random guy filming himself run down the line of people trying to get a Visa, and they guy is saying: "Wow, the line is the entire block (That's fairly true)! People are desperate to get out of here! They seem to hate Milei as much as I do." Firstly, Argentinians love 1. their country, and 2. going to the US on vacation. Many of those people may have been trying to leave the country as well, but you're literally at the embassy, like, passport stuff is one of their main concerns. And the Milei thing is just being ill-informed, people may be leaving because of him but most likely not that many, considering how much he won by, along with the fact that most of the city voted for him in the elections.
