The soldiers are currently fighting many civilians armed with melee weapons, and there's a lot of guards at the port

At the front of the crowd, there are many men armed with Machetes, axes, sticks, and other weapons taunting the soldiers. Meanwhile, at the port, most of the Guards are concentrated guarding one Cargo ship

The Mortar Fire and Heavy Machine Gun Fire Prompted the Commander of the Defending Forces to Hastily Order his Soldiers to Prepare for an attack and get out of the way of the Heavier Positions lest they continue to take losses by the TOW's. The Siege tanks along with the Infantry Begun to be Positioned and organised, forming two Areas of Concentrated Armour along with them being Connected by a Line of Infantry and IFV's and Grenadiers. The Artillery Fire Then Quickly Changed into Smoke Shells that Covered the enemy positions.I agree...

The Volinovian Fighters weren't going to stop until the battle was over. They continue doing everything that they can to throw off the Cordonian Fighters, although their situation was becoming desperate. The Volinovian Base uses this time to launch all the available remaining fighters. While it was not a lot, they hoped some fresh faces would be able to turn the battle in their favor.

The Volinovian Troops continued their push, unaware about the enemies plans. But they weren't taking prisoners. They storm the second line anyway and they weren't taking prisoners in the middle of a firefight. They put down any prisoner who tries to start a ruckus and the ones who were behaved they have escorted behind the lines. At this time the MLRS systems used by the Calvary Division fire a long range artillery barrage. Their goal was to hit anything and everything near the final line. The assault would not begin now, but when the attack did begin nothing would stand in the Volinovians way.

The Machineguns light up the smoke. Their goal was just to suppress the smoke and if everything went good make them rethink their approach from that angle. The Airborne Troops deployed their portable mortars. They didn't pack that much of a punch, but something was better then nothing. They also used Mine Dispensers to disperse small mines all along their defensive position. The mines were small so they may not kill but in a normal combat situation they would knock a soldier out of action. But for this exercise they were just plastic balls that would be crushed when you step on them, alerting you to your "death."
