Sonindian Anti-Raider Armed Forces

Our Purpose:

Raiders are scourges upon this world, the most dangerous and awe-striking evil in nationstates. They destroy regions that many people call home, and kill the longest bonds of friendship. They destroy others regions, and communities, shattering things that took years of building. We fight back, by sending our own soldiers to hold the regional governments together by mass-endorsing their Delegate to prevent a raider supported Delegate from seizing control. We must, we are secure, it is our duty.

When an order is sent out, it is announced on the Regional Message Board, the Sonindian Factbook Entry, and Via Telegram to all members of SAAF. One soldier, always must stay behind endorsing the Delegate, but the others are dispatched to the region we are defending to endorse their legitimate delegate, and help stop the pervasive raider threat. Team leaders are officially called "Section Commanders".

In order to join SAAF, all you have to do is telegram me this: "I (Nation Name) hereby swear to have absolute loyalty to the SAAF, and their Commander, and will strive forever to defend the helpless!" Then, I will add you to our soldiers list, give you a rank, and alert you as to your latest missions when the time comes. But you don't just have to stop at being a soldier, there are numerous other jobs! You can join SAAF Intelligence Corps and help plant spies in raider regions to look out for the next raider invasion, so we can be there to stop it - in advance. Or you could even go for a position as a retainer that helps defend our native Delegate.

SPACE:

This was a hard fought battle that took what I remember to be weeks.
In fact, it was the only battle where, in the end, SAAF was the only
organization still fighting to preserve their freedom and native Delegate.
After the native Delegate Xanthal was restored to their Delegacy,
we stayed to keep their endorsements high enough, and then left.
Below is a letter of thank you from Xanthal via a puppet account.

even if in just a small way.

If not inspiration, then advice from a native who has seen many defenders come and go. There is no such thing as a happy ending, only a happy moment: one region saved for another twelve hours. Your victories will be fleeting while the consequences of a defeat- and there will be many defeats- may last forever. As a defender you must learn to savor those moments of victory, and to be fulfilled by the good fortune of others. You must embrace your limits- the limits placed upon you by the nature of the game and the limits you place upon yourself in the name of honor. Those who cannot will soon retire, or become that which they once thought to fight against.

Region Restored Under Command Of: Nagatar karumuttu chettiar & Greatest cofrienolls

This battle took place over a single day, with troops rapidly mobilizing,
only to fall back after the victory secured. The native Delegate -
Reillysland, was restored to power from a Black Hawks' invasion
within 24 hours. Retainer troops remained to help keep the Delegate's
power stable.

Europe:
Region Restored Under Command Of: Nagatar karumuttu chettiar & Greatest cofrienolls

When Imperium Anglorum lost their Delegacy in Europe to Wombelland,
SAAF Mobilized Hesitantly, unsure if this was raiding. But nonetheless, a
contingent was sent to restore Imperium Anglorum. When he was restored ten hours later,
SAAF Soldiers returned celebrating. Though we contributed only a small
amount to the effort to restore Europe, we still contributed a host of soldiers,
and are glad to have been a part of it, and did make a difference!

Philippines:
Region Restored Under Command Of: Nagatar karumuttu chettiar

When The Black Hawks invaded in an attempt to seize
the regions Delegacy from Ariusgrad, SAAF immediately
mobilized the highest amount of soldiers it ever had before.
They moved in at a critical time, turning the tide of the battle from
raider usurper to defender.

Warzone Asia:
Region Restored Under Command Of: Ultior, Nagatar karumuttu chettiar, Greatest cofrienolls

When The North Pacific Army, or NPA invaded Warzone Asia,
the SAAF was mobilized to push them out, and secure the Delegate. Enemy forces were in retreat
as we secured the Delegacy for the native selected, defender aligned The Alnorudian Navy.
This was also a landmark moment for SAAF, being our first liberation of a GCR!

When The Black Hawks Army, or TBH invaded Warzone Airspace,
the SAAF was mobilized to push them out, and secure the Delegacy with the native Delegate previously
ejected. Enemy forces were in retreat as we secured the Delegacy for the native selected, defender
aligned Befreitland - a new section commander - restoring their WFE, and ultimately
their native Delegate - Katz Kingdom WA. This was also a landmark moment for SAAF, being our second liberation of a GCR!

When the Blackhawks invaded, and tagged a region called "Americanada", SAAF noticed and was quick to respond,
using it as a training mission for new soldiers, Befreitland was given the opportunity to lead a
mission on orders of the Commander to detag and free Americanda, which he successfully did!

Libertanny Cave:
Region Restored Under Command Of: Nagatar karumuttu chettiar, Befreitland

After a Black Hawk tagging team took Libertanny Cave, the SAAF didn't immediately respond, but after it was spotted
by SAAF Intelligence, the work of said tagging team of eliminated, and cleaned up, restoring the region to an untainted
state!

City of Angel:
Region Restored Under Command Of: Befreitland
---------------------------------
A notably independent operation, several SAAF Soldiers, lead by Befrietland took it upon themselves to liberate
City of Angel after seeing the Black Hawks tagging raid on it. After restoring the original flag, WFE, and tags,
as well as terminating the Black Hawks embassy, the team returned to Sonindia to celebrate! This is the first
operation conducted by SAAF without the direct orders of a Commander, and out of the spirit and will of its
members.

Orion Constellation:
Region Restored Under Command Of: Befreitland, Corazistan
---------------------------------
A notably independent operation, several SAAF Soldiers, lead by Befrietland & Corazistan took it upon
themselves to liberate Orion constellation after seeing the Black Hawks tagging raid on it.
After restoring the original flag, WFE, and tags, as well as terminating the Black Hawks embassy, the team
returned to Sonindia to celebrate! This is another operation conducted by SAAF without the direct orders of
a Commander, and out of the spirit and will of its members.
