I suppose there's no rule that you can't just claim a spot of ocean and have all your people hang on to pool noodles.

That might work lmfao

1. Close the party -- the region's second-oldest party (established in 2013).
2. Merge with a larger party (e.g., the CSP -- forming a big-tent left party).
3. Go on probation, and try to recruit two new members by the next presidential election (September 1st).

I've talked it over with all of my fellow party members... okay, member... and we've come to a decision. As Chairman of the Liberals for Life Coalition, I am pleased to announce our merger into the Christian Socialist Party! I will make the relevant arrangements on the forum.

Under ledzia, lots of tundra on the map. Are those also mountains, or is this an Arctic wonderland planet?

Mostly mountains

Queen Dolly, I know her UM. I've been to her attractions in Pigeon Forge lots of times (i.e. Dollywood, Splash Country, Dixie Stampede, etc.).

Well, that's an unpleasantly depressing bit of news that I didn't think I'd hear.

The bit the one article says about her being a good actress really was true. I would never have expected something like this, from what I'd heard and read, she seemed like she did truly regret what she did and the outcome.

Nothing you can trust on this broken world.

I am in the process of creating a dispatch thoroughly outlining the pro-life stance. Anyone wishing to write a part should message me.

Pope saint peter the apostle wrote:How would one go about joining the Thomas Aquinas Society?

Horatius Cocles is the leader of TAS. The organization has been somewhat inactive lately.

Derrician wrote:OOC: I'm still relatively new to NationStates. How would I go about joining one of these political parties in our region?

Contact the party leader. Get him to approve your membership. Then, make a request to be added to the forum group by making a post in the Political Parties forum on the offsite board. A forum administrator (Aawia or I) will add you to the forum group.

I think the only thing people can say for certain is that she conned her way through her entire life. As a girl, she was arrested for robbery. In Roe v. Wade, she falsely claimed she'd been raped by a black man because she thought it would get her an abortion. (It's not the first time in her life that she questionably accused a man of raping her.) In her deathbed documentary, she says she changed religions and spoke at pro-life rallies in exchange for $500,000 in speaking fees, plus fees from her books.

Culture of Life wrote:Here's an update on Right to Life's political parties:

Christian Socialist Party
Leader: The Catholic State of Eire
Membership: 5 citizens

Conservative Federalist Party
Leader: Aawia
Membership: 9 citizens

Liberals for Life Coalition
Leader: New Dolgaria
Membership: 1 citizen

Reactionary Traditionalist Front
Leader: vacant
Membership: one expired nation

According to the executive order on regional associations: "The regional government shall recognize every political party that has at least three citizens as members. Political parties with fewer than three citizens shall be placed on probation, and the administrative branch shall close them if they are unable to recover."

After the June election, I'll close the RTF. It has no opportunity to recover. It has no members, and nobody new can gain membership because no one is around to approve the application. Respecting the LLC, I'll see what New Dolgaria wants to do. He has three options:

1. Close the party -- the region's second-oldest party (established in 2013).
2. Merge with a larger party (e.g., the CSP -- forming a big-tent left party).
3. Go on probation, and try to recruit two new members by the next presidential election (September 1st).

An update to my update:

- New Dolgaria has merged the LLC into the CSP.
- While deleting the LLC, I deleted the RTF too. A party with no members can't accept new members.
- Now, I need to update the offsite forums and the regional dispatch.

Party leaders Aawia and The Catholic State of Eire:

1. How should I describe your political party sub-boards (the line of text that goes below the sub-board name)?

https://nsrighttolife.proboards.com/board/28/political-parties

2. How should I describe your political parties in the regional dispatch?

For posterity, here are the current party descriptions:

The Christian Socialist Party (CSP) is led by The Catholic State of Eire. It was founded on March 31, 2018, and it promotes Christian socialism in regional politics. It has adopted a national sovereigntist position in the General Assembly, it opposes the Security Council, and it is neutral on military gameplay. It is Right to Life's first faith-based political party.

The Conservative Federalist Party (CFP) is led by Aawia. It was founded on November 22, 2012, and it is the oldest political party in Right to Life. In regional politics, it promotes conservatism and secularism, or religious neutrality. It is neutral in the General Assembly and the Security Council, and it supports a pro-invader stance in military gameplay.

The Liberals for Life Coalition (LLC) is led by New Dolgaria. It was originally founded on January 11, 2013, as the Progressive Party. It promotes a consistent life ethic in regional politics, and it also endorses environmentalism. It has adopted an international federalist position in the General Assembly, it supports the Security Council, and it is pro-defender in military gameplay.

The Reactionary Traditionalist Front (RTF) is led by The roman catholic federation. It was founded on December 14, 2016, and it promotes distributism, anti-communism, and legal moralism in regional politics. It has adopted an international federalist position in the General Assembly, it opposes the Security Council, and it is neutral on military gameplay.

Under ledzia, are you still looking to form a party?

1. "Objectively the best party in RTL" ;) I kid. How about "The board of the oldest party in RTL catering to centre-right players who value keeping RTL on the path of development and openness."

2. That description pretty much sums it up, though perhaps the party should reconvene to discuss regional positions which we could include in our description. Such as promoting member-led proposals submitted via CFP senators.

The party descriptions are hardly informative. I think they need to be reworked. Ideally, they would be formatted in bullet points with each point corresponding to a plank in a party's platform.

So Instead of making a party I made a Forum post. I would also like to make a civic organisation in Right to Life promoting this movement within the region. It's not clear how to do that, but if anyone would be interested to join the pro-roleplay civic organisation then please telegram me.

If you do not want to join, then please don't discourage others from joining.

We love to see more Civic Organisations! You should probably make a forum post on our offsite forums as well, so we can pretty preserve it.
