Australian Federation and Independence Day
            Australia-wide

This very day, the 1st of January, 118 years ago, Australia gained independence from Unionist britain and northern ireland after 6 years of war against the nation.

On the 1st of January 1901, the Eureka Stockade offically ended with the signing of 'The Treaty of Melbourne' at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. The Treaty not only gave the nation independence, but made the nation a whole country. Before 1901, 'Australia' was the name of the main island, which held 5 different colonies (Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria).

On this day, the colonies on Australia, as well as New Zealand and Tasmania, joined the union, the federation, that created Australia. Known as Independence Day (Or, before 1975, Federation Day), the day is a Public Holiday, but is often overshadowed by New Year's Day celebrations. Celebrations for all things Aussie are often on Australia Day, on the 26th of the same month.

In other news, when questioned on Australia's decision to abstain from voting in the new UN proposal, Australian UN representative Gillian Bird stated that Australia has abstained as "it's relations with the Middle East are complicated, and although Australia has close relations with 'yes' advocates The Turkish-State and Afsharid Persia, Australia does not see any peaceful solution to the current issue in Syria."

The Turks and Caicos Islands Join Canada.

After Months of preparation and campaigning from Yes Canada! The Turks and Caicos Islands in a binding referendum have voted to join Upper Canadas.

Over the past several months the Turks and Caicos Islands and Upper Canadas have re-opened talks regarding the Turks and Caicos Islands ascension into Upper Canadas as a Province. Talks regarding the Islands joining Upper Canadas have been held on and off over the past several decades, however it looks like talks between the Marshall Administration in Upper Canadas and the Cartwright-Robinson Administration in the Turks and Caicos have been the most successful in negotiating the merger between the Unionist britain and northern ireland and Territory and the Dominion of Canada.

A Royally Sanctioned Referendum regarding the Islands admission into the Canadian Federation was scheduled 21 days ago and was administered and monitored by authorities from London and Cockburn Town.

With 89% of the vote in favour of the union with Upper Canadas A clear majority of support for union has been reached. His Excellency King William V of The Dominion of Canada and the Dependency of the Turks and Caicos Islands will follow through with his father's promise to sanction the merger between the two. Now begins the process of Upper Canadas amending their constitution to welcome the 11th Province into Federation.

Conservative Party Leader Jacob Rees-Mogg said of the vote:

”It's heartbreaking to see these islands go. However we must respect a people's right to self determination. Simply put the sun has set on the British Empire and we need to accept this new reality. We are still a proud and fierce island with strong willed patriots, but we are not an empire. I congratulate the Yes Canada! campaign and I hope that the process of union is quick and a politically stable transition of powers.

Prime Minister Stefan Löfven "Vår demokrati är ingen plats för nazister."

Stefan Löfven, Prime Minister of the United Kingdoms of Scandinavia, proclaimed in his speech to the Riksråd that the UKS should seek to further impede the actions of the Nordic Resistance Movement citing the possible danger this relatively small political movement may engender. Although most praised Prime Minister Löfven for his foresight, some pointed out that Prime Minister Löfven's speech gave attention to the NRM which itself only worsens the issue. Prime Minister Löfven has, however, remained stern in the matter.

The prime minister made sure to differentiate between the NRM and other nationalist movements, yet many have taken his speech as a condemnation of nationalism. Parties such as The Scandinavian Peoples' Party (SPP), the Scandinavia Democrats (SD) and the Christian Democratic Party (CDP) have shown significant backlash towards the prime minister still officially condemning the NRM as well. Many politicians in Scandinavia have shown increasing worry over the NRM as the activities of the group have been on the rise during recent years.

Lindberg and Forwald to clash over new Syria issue

Simon Lindberg and Haakon Forwald, regional heads of the Nordic Resistance Movement in Sweden and Norway respectively, clashed on a myriad of social media platforms when the two showed completely opposite opinions regarding the situation in Syria. The debate took place on a plethora of social media services such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Twitch because each site attempted the spread of far-right ideas on their platform.

Unknowingly Haakon Forwald caused a significant rift within the NRM when he declared his support in a tweet saying that "... the new Syrian government will get the job done..." Simon Lindberg then showed his disapproval of the Syrian government saying "It is a humanitarian crisis waiting to happen. And when it does where do you think they'll come?" Haakon and Lindberg went on to argue extensively on the subject both believing that the government prefered by the other would be the wrong one to support. By the end of the debate, significant differences mostly economic were brought up which caused Haakon to decide to withdraw his support for many NRM members urging his followers to separate from the current movement. According to Haakon, Lindberg's economic policies bordered on the Communistic.

This divide of the already-small movement has gotten many political analysts foreseeing that this could truly be the end for the NRM.

FOREIGN OFFICE OF THE IMPERIAL STATE OF AFSHARID PERSIA

NEW YORK, UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY — DECEMBER 31ST — 'HEJRI-YE KHORSHIDI 1397

GHOLAMALI KHOSHROO, UN DELEGATE OF THE IMPERIAL STATE OF AFSHARID PERSIA - SPEAKS . . .

. . .
. . .
. . .

        " Honourable delegates and esteemed chair . . . "

As he begins his speech, his expression and tone become more stern

" I find it rather amusing that a delegation that claims the resolution authored by our nation is "misinforming" and "illegitimate", are themselves misinforming the General Assembly. As any literate delegation would know, Hezbollah is in fact, not a UN designated terrorist organization. Rather, they are a United States designated terrorist organization. Clearly, the delegation has confused the wills of the international community with that of his masters in Washington. The delegation of The arab-federation further mentions the new Syrian government's relations with Great israel. The two nations have "ended over 40 years of conflict", the delegation says. Of course, I would not doubt that governments who share commonalities in the areas of genocide, oppression, and ethnic cleansing would indeed turn out to be very good friends.

Furthermore, we have received information that the government of The arab-federation is threatening world leaders to vote 'No' on this resolution. They are threatening to block off access to the Suez Canal for nations that vote 'Yes' on the resolution. Clearly, this is foul play, and the Arab delegation is in no position to question the "legitimacy" of anyone here when it carries out such actions itself. We would like to assure such nations that there is no need to be afraid of such threats, Afsharid Persia will provide access to the North-South Trade corridor should the Arab Federation carry out with such threats. However, we are sickened and disgusted at these actions. We won't reveal names of the nations contacted, but if the UN committee responsible wishes to be provided with evidence, we would be more than happy to do so. "

The crowd begins murmuring after the accusation, with many delegates looking around at each other in concern.

" This brings me to my final point. If the Western powers close their eyes on such a disturbing matter, it will only prove that the West cares not for 'human rights' in any part of the world, but rather for their sole benefit. The united american-state and Unionist britain and northern ireland have no problem closing their eyes on atrocities in Shafiqi Arabia and many other nations, but when it comes to nations such as The Islamic Republic of Sahuria, who go against the wishes of the Western powers and their puppet states such as The arab-federation and Great israel, they are outraged. They fear nations who don't do their bidding, because the more independent these nations become, the closer their world empires come to crumbling down on top of them. This is all nothing but a slander campaign against Persia. They say we're doing this for our "own interests". A "good guy, bad guy" scenario. I would like to ask, why is it that the "bad guys", Afsharid Persia and The Turkish-State, were on the front lines in the war against ISIK, while the "good guys", such as Great israel and Shafiqi Arabia, had little to no involvement? These are all just provocations made by Israel and certain Arab states aimed at demonizing Persia and Turkey. However, we hope to believe that the rest of the international community does not fall for these tricks. That they can open their eyes and not be fooled by these crocodile tears shed by The arab-federation and The syrian arab meritocracy. "

And with that, the Persian delegation gets up and leaves the General Assembly Hall . . .

            Australia's Stance: GA Resolution 2018-4586746
New York City, United States of America

Australia has abstained on voting for GA Resolution 2018-4586746. Australia, who was admitted as a temporary Security Council member until the end of this year. The nation has had intense pressure from Afsharid Persia to vote yes, and an equal amount of pressure from The united american-state to vote no.

The resolution, put forward by Afsharid Persia and The Turkish-State, aims to 'restore order' in The syrian arab meritocracy peacefully after a regime change, which occured via a coup. However, the main argument lies in the old government, the Islamic Republic. Which regime is better? And is it really worth it?

Gillan Bird, the Australian Representative for the United Nations since 2013, has stepped up today, annoucing not only to Australia, but the wider international community, why Australia is abstaining from this clearly controversial resolution.

"Australia has, compared to the other six abstaining nations, received much criticism for it's vote. Both sides (in particular Persia and the United States) have threatened Australia with more expensive oil prices and less military equipment if they don't vote right. However, Australiais not a puppet state of Persia, nor are they a puppet state of the United States. Since 1901, we have lived a strong-willed and independent life, and we will contiune to do so, not being swayed by international powers.

This resolution has various things that we agree with. Australia does reconise that, no matter the regime, a coup is a coup, and should be condemned. We do reconise that the previous government, the Islamic State, was legitamate, unlike the current government, the Meritocracy. We reconise the oppresion of Shia Muslims in the nation, and the horrid nature of ethnic cleansing.

However, there are also things we do not agree with. However oppresive this regime may be, it is in no way worse than the former, Islamic State. It is important to remember the events of 2001, the Syrian Civil War. Among the many horrendous effects of the war, one will last forever; the Islamic dictatorship that now ruled the nation with an iron fist. Former Australian President John Howard even said himself that 'a dictatorship is asking for a revolution just by it's mere existance'. It could be argued that the Islamic State was illegitamate, just as is the Meritocracy, with the only difference being that people were indoctrinated to think that the party and it's belifs were good for the country, and for the world. Syria always has been, and always will be, a threat. This takes me on further to the belif of Persia and it's allies that this is an issue that can be solved, and I quote, 'without military intervention.' This is utter blasphemy, absolutely ludacris. There is no way that a regime as oppresive as either the Islamic State or the Meritocracy can be brought down simply by saying please. No, the only way is through war, which no one wants.

The Meritocracy, although taking over Syria illegally, has done wider good for the nation. However, in saying this, it is impossible to ignore the blatant disregard of human life happening in the nation currently. It is obvious here that Australia must vote no, but must also vote yes. To put this in simple terms, we must look at the George Orwell novel 'Nineteen Eighty-Four'. In 'Nineteen Eighty-Four', there is the concept they call ‘doublethink,’ where you have to simultaneously think something, but not think it. An oxymoron, of sorts. Australia’s situation is, in a way, an oxymoron, as we must vote yes to maintain good relationships with Persia, and we must vote no to maintain good relationships with the United States. For obvious reasons, this simply is not possible. It is not possible to vote yes and no, both or neither, at the same time. Thus, it is in Australia's best interests that, in order to maintain order in Syria, relations with Persia, relations with America, and the independence of Australia, that we must subironically vote for neither side.

Australia has abstained from voting on GA Resolution 2018-4586746. There is no debating, or attempting to otherwise change the vote, of Australia. We are standing strong but not standing at all. Our decision is final. Thank you."

Italy Faces Recession in 2019

Italy’s manufacturing sector shrank for a third straight month in the latest sign that Europe’s third-largest economy is on the brink of yet another recession.

IHS Markit’s gauge of factory activity came in at 49.2 for December. While that’s better than the 48.4 forecast by economists, it’s still below 50 — the dividing line between growth and contraction — and measures of employment and business confidence worsened.

The country was rocked in 2018 by the populist government’s heavy spending plans, which sparked a spat with the European Union and pushed up bond yields. The standoff was resolved at the final hour but unease remains amid a euro-area economic slowdown, less monetary support from the European Central Bank and U.S.-led protectionism. Italy’s poor performance in December and the first contraction in French manufacturing since 2016 — amid protests by the so-called Yellow Vests — weighed on momentum in the euro area. The PMI for the region declined to its lowest in just over four years, with business confidence reaching its worst since 2012.

The IHS Markit report for Italy showed business sentiment at the weakest in six years and employment growth at the slowest in four years. New orders slid for a fifth month, prompting manufacturers to scale back production. It’s a “worrying end to the year for Italian manufacturers,” said Andrew Harker, associate director at IHS Markit. “There appears little sense of optimism that the current soft patch will come to an end in the near future.” The uneasy coalition between the anti-migration League, which is strongest in the business-rich north, and the anti-establishment Five Star Movement, with its electoral base in the depressed south, makes further political uncertainty possible in 2019.

In his year-end address, Italian President Sergio Mattarella took the government to task for ramming spending plans through parliament, urging both parties to ensure adequate debate in the future. Italy’s woes highlight how the eurozone — which marked the 20th anniversary of the single currency on Tuesday — is still struggling to deliver convergence. The nation’s economy has persistently lagged behind the rest of the bloc and shrank 0.1 percent in the third quarter. A contraction in the final three months of the year would confirm the nation’s third recession since the global financial crisis a decade ago.

"It's time for stock recovery in January" - says PM Markovich

While heading to office early this evening, to hold an meeting with largest Serbian businessmen, Prime Minister Adam Markovich was asked by journalists to give short comment about situation on Belgrade stock market (BSM). He said:

Listen, I'm in large hurry, but I'll give you answer first, because it is important. As you all know very well, I am not professional politican. I am a man from world of industry. I had been director of one of the most efficient companies in Serbia for about 20 years. If I learned anything at that job it is that one head that thinks is valued multiple times more than ten heads that do not think. I trust in expert knowledge, both domestic and international. Today, I am an optimist. Majority of experts from USA are giving optimistic comments about recovery of stock markets all around world after worst December since Great depression. I understand scepticism of masses here in Serbia, I understand that we don't have some large players on BSM and that over 70% of capital that makes basics of our market liquidity is in hands ordinary people who invest their life-savings in safe stocks. So, I believe that bad days on BSM are behind our nation. That is good, as for all those people, as well for large corporations who do not want to invest in turbulent areas on brink of crisis, but in stable rising economies, as our economy currently is and as our economy would proudly and safely continue to be in 2019. Currently, we are looking to attract some domestic businessmen to invest more at home and not abroad, but we are also giving our best to attract some foreign investors. I hope to see first results around half of this years. It is just important to stay optimistic about reforms that are ahead of us, and results would start to come. Now, I'm sorry but I am a bit in a hurry, I have really important meeting up there, so, if you would be kind enough to let me enter the building... Thank you and good night.

LIPI Develops a Landslide Detection System

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - Researcher at LIPI's Geotechnology Research Center Adrin Tohari said it had developed a ground sensor-based wireless motion monitoring system called LIPI Wiseland or Wireless Sensor for Landslide Monitoring. LIPI Wiseland, said Adrin, has several advantages including reaching wide monitoring areas based on sensor networks, presenting data in real time with high accuracy and having independent power supplies using solar panel power and lithium batteries. "This technology can be used to monitor the dangers of deep and shallow ground movements, both on natural slopes, cuttings and heaps," he said.

The nature of the landslide detector is a network so that it can make communication between sensors installed. "We have a network mode sensor that we deploy in areas that already have potential in the highlands, parameters of soil moisture, parameter slopes," he said. Adrin said sensors that measure slope movement by seeing additional cables will be attracted by the movement. The tiltmeter or angle sensor can also function to measure the slope of the slope. "When the slope moves there is an indication that the slope will change. We can monitor the symptoms of avalanches. (There are also) Analog sensor mode, analog base sensors such as sensors measure the pressure of water in the soil, what is monitored is changes in water content in the soil," he said.

However, he acknowledged that Indonesia had not had an early warning of monitoring land movements in landslide-prone areas. Considering that according to him, landscape can be caused by increasing in water ground or changes in saturation, pores in the soil filled with water. According to the records of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) in Indonesia there are 274 districts / cities that have the potential to avalanche in the medium-high category. In the last 10 years from 2009 to 2018, BNPB noted that there were 132 landslides in Sukabumi, West Java, which were potential areas of landslides.

DeMayo gathers A rally in Haifa. Speech includes state of Israel's presidency, response to Afsharid Persia UN delegate and controversial criticism of allies.

It was just 12:00 PM in January 3rd, the third day of 2019, When the New Sanhedrin party, the majority party in the Knesset led by Daniel DeMayo, announced A surprise rally in Haifa municipal stadium, where the Prime minister will carry A speech. though the late announcement, there were between 25,000 to 28,000 citizens that arrived to the rally in support of the prime minister. It was also the fact that A rally took place in A football stadium that made people come, which was revolutionary. The rally started at 20:00 PM, with the stadium being 5,000 short of being sold out. the entrance was free but only the security could allocate the citizens. Daniel was standing in the center of the field, holding the microphone in one hand, and the left was kept in the pocket of the jeans.

"Good evening dear brothers of mine. First of all, Happy new year to all of you, and especially the former-Soviet citizens, who see this day as Novy god, A real holiday for them. - crowd claps- Anyway, I also really want to thank everyone for coming. It is indeed been A while since A real rally has taken place, because its all Press conferences and smiles for the camera, but i still want to keep it simple. And it is even more historic that I found A new way to do it. Instead of having A stage above you and you supporting me below, its the opposite. Its not A coincidence, I wanted to remind you all, that I am in the center of your lives, but only because those surrounding me elected me. Rule of people is what we REALLY have in israel. - crowd chants Demayo's name-
Politics is the dirtiest business of them all. I drink eat and sleep politics because I believe in something, I have A vision. A vision of A greater Israel. A vision of Israel, the greatest country in the world. The potential is here, the money is here, the human resources are all available, but someone always pulled the strings to the wrong direction. Its time to change, its time to make the vision A reality. Its time to show the might of the Jewish people. But still, politics is already part of our daily lives. Im not your leader, but just A part of the puzzle that makes A nation-state great, but i have to do the hard work. The President of Israel is A symbolic duty, it does have minor practical influence, but its major job is to represent the beauty of the state, so please tell me, Why the President is always, A politician? I know, the President is always A war hero, and i will never disrespect anyone who fought so I can sleep at night safely, but times are changing. War is not the only thing we have, we are actually in the quietest period in Israel's whole history. I want the president of Israel to be an actual symbol of the state, and kick politics out, its been here for too long. I want A singer, an actor, A sportsman, A CEO or chairman, anyone like this, to be the President of Israel, and im still working on the reform of it. But one major announcement I have to make it for you, is that its not longer up to Members of our Parliament, the Knesset, to elect the President. From now on, It will be you, the people. and for the first and only time ever, the Parliamentary elections and the newly presidential elections will take place at the same day and at the same time.

- After several minutes of talking about interior issues, and addressing about his campaign to the elections, he turned his attention to foreign policies. -

A few days ago, I made A few remarks about our neighbour in The syrian arab meritocracy. Remarks that were not accepted by Afsharid Persia.
During Mr. Khoshroo he made some comments i did not take kindly. He said Israel are puppets of the west, he said we are A nation of 'Genocide, oppression and ethnic cleansing'. Now the first thing I did after reading it and laughing all morning long, I had in my mind what to say. And how could I say it any better than here in front of my people? take your cameras out and film it, because I want the whole world to know what Mr Daniel DeMayo thinks about the world and Persia in particular.

The historic relationship between Persians and Jews dates back more than 2000 years ago. We always loved each other, and we still do. Based on assumptions there are around 200,000 Persian Jews in Israel and approximately 50,000 in Persia. The problem is not the people, those who always take pictures together at the world cup or become friends in the western world. The problem is the current regime. The problem is, Persia today is using any means to make A mega-Genocide on the Arab world. Well I want to clarify some notes i wrote to myself. First of all, Israel never was and never will be A puppet regime. In fact, many calls the West forced us to take, but we rejected, could have cripple down our nation. They called us genocidal, together with Syria, and that is ridiculous. After Persia's long oppression on the Arabs in Syria, finally A government was willing to make peace, and show progressive attitude and all Persia did was condemning a government that will no longer be their puppet, that has one name and it is: HYPOCRISY.
Israel Is seen by the Arab world, as the greatest threat to peace in the Middle East. Well, no wonder the Arab world is just STUPID, all of them. Persia as of now, through their proxies conquered Mosul, Sana'a, Beirut and Damascus. 4 different Arab capitals, while Israel occupied NOTHING, and even returned it back, and is always keen on peace. You know people who claim to be journalists, tell me the Middle East is in a midst of A cold war, and as someone with A degree of Middle East studies, I just want to tell you, quit your jobs. A cold war needs 2 sides, 2 belligerents. On one side, You got Persia, full of militant groups like hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen for example, And i have no one single doubt in my mind they always funded Hamas and Fatah, and im sure they already plan on toppling the regimes in Shafiqi Arabia, The syrian arab meritocracy again, and The arab-federation. They also have some rational and great allies in Dvaistic Republic of Serbia, Kurdistan-e bashur and The Turkish-State, who as good nations they are and even better allies, especially towards us, I guess they arent nationalistic enough to see the oppression their hypocrite allies do. They Are A growing regional power in the Middle East and one compliment they will get from me, is that if this region will continue its absurd obsession towards us, and the irrelevant 'palestinians', Iran will be the whole Middle East, and nothing will prevent them from being the next dominant force. And who is the other side in this conflict? not Shafiqi Arabia that will soon fall down, then who? Probably any Arab nation that deals with killing itself, because the Hypocrites will somehow get in there as well. Its Israel's duty, o prevent Persian influence, no because we are A regional power, we already are, but the growing Persian tyranny of terror can definitely threaten Israel's right to exist!
I always call myself the anti-politically correct, the man who never lies, so I guess an hypocrite for A rival is destined to me by God."

PRESIDENT URGES CHINESE UNITY

President Xi in a New Years address to the nation has further stressed the importance of Chinese unity for the strength of the nation, with particular focus on the Republic of China, known as Taiwan. He pressed for the ideal of "One China", linking to Taiwan by suggesting a "one country, two systems" deal, similar as to current situations practiced in Hong Kong and Macau. Xi was qouted as stating that the potential unification would be an 'imevitable requirement' for the 'great rejuvination of the Chinese state'. Problems have long been apparent between the two states, with common view stating that Taiwan represented the now defunct Republic of China, and the mainland representing the new government following the conclusion of the Chinese civil war. Furthermore, the Republic of China is not considered a separate state, as the island has never officially declared independence and has instead laid claim to the entire Chinese mainland, though these claims have in recent years been considered irrelevant as more countries have chosen to recognise and trade with the People's Republic. Though there has been no official timeframe for the potential unification between the island and the mainland, it has been rumoured that the state will be looking to 'accelerating the procedure' and will be prioritising it in the new year's agenda.

PLA ORDERS NEW EQUIPMENT FOR 2019

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Promises Change to Washington

WASHINGTON — The Democratic Party retook the House of Representatives on election day and today Nancy Pelosi has now been elected House Speaker for the second time. Pelosi previously served as speaker from January 4, 2007 to January 3, 2011. She has the distinction of being the first woman to serve as Speaker, and is also the first former-Speaker to be returned to office since another Democrat, Sam Rayburn in 1955. In her speech she had made clear that the current Presidency has lost touch with his own party and the American people. Currently, President John Kasich's approval ratings stand at 32 per cent according to a Gallup poll. Many blame the reason for such low approval ratings is due to the president's domestic policy agenda not swaying well with the conservative side of the Republican Party which in turn has made Senate Majority Leader Mitch Mcconnel's job a bit of awkward situation. However in show of good faith, President Kasich congratulated Speaker Pelosi on becoming speaker on his way to a cabinet meeting and as well acknowledged the biggest diversity among women as today marks the most women ever elected in the house in American history.

Nancy Pelosi stated that she want's to reevaluate the president's agenda infrastructure plan as she will pass bills that have been approved by both the senate and the house that will fund money into the U.S. Department of Transportation which in turn will extend it's federal aid programs and special funding. This will allow states to request more funding in revamping it's infrastructure programs and grant special attention to the northeastern states such as New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York which matter of fact is on the brink of one of the worst infrastructure disasters due to the major under funding of the NYC Subway system. Pelosi has called for Governor Cuomo and NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio to put an end to their "bottomless feud" and allow the MTA it's funding it so desperately needs. Now since the federal government is now answered to the states calls for more funding, it's only necessary that state government's to report to the transportation department in this regard. President Kasich however has called for a more reformed budget in the past couple of weeks and wishes to see if the government is willing to spend less instead of more in some vital areas of the budget.

Siberia Greater Modernisation Program Update

Throughout 2018, the Siberia Greater Modernisation Program was undertaken, and has already proven worthwhile. The two decade long program is to create greater opportunities for Russia's eastern regions. Cities such as Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk and many more have greatly urbanised in the year, with infrastructure programs fixing the cities roads and turning old abandoned buildings into schools, clinics, and shops for more practical purposes. The economic output of the region has increased due the the program.

During this time Vladivostok has expanded its ports to accomodate 25% more ships, increasing the productivity of the city. As Vladivostok is not operational all year round, the primary goal for the city is to increase the capacity of its port to host 200% more ships in the next decade. There are also plans to create a new port area on the island of Russky to support the goals of the city. All programs of Vladivostok is expected to create jobs for the people of the region.

The fertility rate in the region has also greatly increase, from 1.58 to 1.67 in the past year, although still low for global standards, it is a promising sign for Siberia and the East. As the region as a whole continues development, the living standards have increased and will continue to do so in the next few decades. A new campaign has also started urging young families to have more than two children, and those families with four or more children will receive payment until the last child turns five years old.

The production of all Slavistrebitel fighters that are to be stationed in Siberia and the Far East will be constructed locally to promote the regions heavy industry. As with many other vehicle and heavy machinery manufactures setting up new factories in Siberian and Far Eastern cities.

    Prime Minister Iosif Utkin:
"We are making great strides in the East, as for many decades Siberia has been neglected, and only taken advantage of for its vast natural wealth. At a little over 13.2 million square kilometers, it holds less than 38 million people, what we want is to increase that to 80 million strong Russians by the end of the century, it's definitely a big number but I think if we kept pushing it will happen. The East is so vast, it can hold 300 million Russians and have enough room for 300 more, we do not see number like this in the foreseeable future, but we do want numbers like this. I know in my lifetime I will never see the East in a state to overtake Western Russia, but I am sure that with the pace that our developments are going we will see a powerful Siberia this century."

Comparing Debt Benefits of Soeharto's Era to Jokowi

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - Candidate for Vice President Sandiaga Uno is talking about foreign debt. Understandably, as of November 2018 yesterday the total external debt of the central government has reached Rp.4,395.9 trillion. With this amount, Sandi calculated that every newborn baby was forced to pay Rp13 million in debt. Citing Data from the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management at the Ministry of Finance, Indonesia's per capita debt in 2017 was US $ 1,089 or Rp.15.7 million (exchange rate of Rp14,4773 per US dollar). Debt is still lower than India, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia. In India, for example, per capita debt reached US $ 1,351 or Rp19.5 million, Vietnam US $ 1,435 or Rp20.7 million, Thailand US $ 2,655 or Rp38.4 million, and Malaysia US $ 5,463 or Rp79 million. In fact, compared to the United States and Japan, RI's per capita debt is even further. One person in the US, for example, bears debts of US $ 62 thousand or Rp. 897 million. While in Japan, per person bears US $ 85 thousand or Rp1.2 billion.

Meanwhile, as of November, the government debt ratio was still in the range of 29.91 percent of Indonesia's gross domestic product (GDP) assumption which reached Rp. 14,6792.42 trillion. The ratio is still far from Vietnam which is in the range of 60 percent, Thailand which reaches 40 percent and Malaysia which is in the range of 50 percent. Finance Minister Sri Mulyani once said that actually debt does not only occur during the administration of President Jokowi. Debt has also been carried out by the previous government.

Reporting from various sources, during the administration of President Soeharto, the government also collected debts. During the lead since March 1967-May 1998, the debt collected by the government reached Rp 551.4 trillion, equivalent to 57.7 percent of GDP. Government debt continues. During President Habibie's administration, which ran for only 17 months, the debt rose by Rp. 387.4 trillion to Rp. 938.8 trillion. The government debt ratio at that time reached 85.4 percent of GDP. Debt continued during the time of President Abdurrahman Wahid. At that time the debt increased to Rp.1,271.18 trillion. During the Megawati Soekarno Putri period, the debt increased to Rp1,299.50 trillion.

During President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's time, the debt increased to Rp2,608.78 trillion. Ani said that the debt, aside from being needed to cover the APBN deficit, was also compiled to help build financial market deepening and bonds in the country. Economic observers from Samuel Aset Manajemen, Lana Soelistianingsih, said that the debt was due to the people's current savings. The absence of community savings makes the government must meet development needs by attracting debt.University of Indonesia Economic Observer Fithra Faisal Hastiadi said that every debt collected by the government from time to time has a different focus of utilization. For the Suharto period, for example, many debts were collected to support infrastructure development.

In his time, the construction of infrastructure such as irrigation, dams and roads was a massive one. In addition, debt is also used to control prices through subsidies. Before the 1997/1998 economic crisis, the Soeharto era debt management was fairly efficient and effective. This condition is reflected in the rate of economic growth. Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in 1965, or three years before Suharto took office, economic growth was only around 1.08 percent. But when he ruled, Soeharto with a policy including debt that he gathered managed to turn things around. Economic growth in the era was slow but surely it was successfully driven. It could even be driven to the level of 10.92 percent.

          Republicans Maintain Control of Congress

//WASHINGTON// —The final votes are being counted from the 2018 election. They confirm that the Republicans have maintained a slim majority in the House of Representatives. Republicans lost a net of 14 seats in the House, decreasing their majority from 236 seats to a lean 222 seats, 4 seats above the 218 seat majority requirement. Meanwhile, Republicans in the Senate celebrate, not only maintaining their majority, but also expanding it. The Republicans entered the midterms with a 51 seat majority in the senate, and after days of hours of counting, and days, and even sometimes weeks of recounting the Republicans have had a net gain of 3 seats in the senate. Winning key races in Missouri, Arizona, and even Florida where Senator-Elect Rick Scott won with just 0.5% of the vote.

Kevin McCarthy, current House Majority Leader and presumptive replacement for retiring Speaker Paul Ryan has stated that he, and the House Republicans are looking forward to working with President Trump to make lives easier for everyday Americans. Further more, he states, that the American public elected President Trump, and majorities in both Chambers of Congress to fulfill the promise that Republicans made in 2016, to secure Americans and defend the boarder. It would see McCarthy and the House Republicans are going to support the promulgate the presidents security agenda.

Vikslandia Votes in Favour of GA Resolution 2018-4586746

NEW YORK, UNITED STATES - After multiple days of debates and back-and-forth votes in the United Nations General Assembly, the Permanent Representative of Vikslandia, Kai Sauer, has cast his vote regarding the proposed sanctions on The syrian arab meritocracy put forth by Afsharid Persia. During the voting, he had time to express The Federal Republic of Vikslandia's opinion on the situation and the put-forth resolution:

"It has always been the position of The Federal Republic of Vikslandia to advocate for stability and progress in the volatile region of the Middle East. We have met on multiple occasions with representatives from The Turkish-State to discuss the difficulties that they face due to their geographical location, and have discussed, and cooperated on, these matters within the European Union.

"The resolution points out that the government of Sahuria was brought to power following mass demonstrations and a civil war due to the previous government's brutal and repressive policies on it's people. I think that's an important aspect. Now, it seems the new junta that has taken power seems eager to continue these policies that the Shia-led government ceased. These actions will only further destabilize the region and bring about refugees and conflict to the borders of the European Union.

"In contrast, Sahuria was instrumental in the fight against the vicious Islamic State of Iraq and Kurdistan that plagued the region, it eliminated the Jaish al-Tahrir group that pledged allegiance to ISIK, and fought against PKK elements in it's northern parts. After large public demonstrations in it's Kurdish areas, it gave autonomy to Sahuri Kurdiland to prevent conflict with the Kurdish population.

"In our view, the new government in power in Syria will only cause further destabilization in the region, and due to that reason The Federal Republic of Vikslandia votes in favour of Resolution 4586746."

Strong Winter Storm Batters Vikslandia

HELSINKI, UUSIMAA - An exceptionally strong winter storm has caused widespread power cuts and traffic problems across Vikslandia. The strongest-ever winds were recorded on the Bogskär islets in the western part of the Northern Baltic on Tuesday night. The average wind speed over a 10-minute period was 32.5 m/s while gust speeds reached as much as 41.6 m/s. A new wave height record of 7.9 meters was set in the Southern Sea of Bothnia, says the Vikslandian Meteorological Institute (VMI).

Authorities in the Ahvenanmaa Islands have requested that residents remain indoors due to strong winds, as Johan Ehn from Ahvenanmaa's Emergency Response Center told the Vikslandian Broadcasting Company:

"Ahvenanmaa's Emergency Response Center has instructed people to stay at home until the storm dies down. We highly suggest that people do not go out or drive. Fallen trees obstruct many roads here and most of Ahvenanmaa is currently without power. The authorities are working around the clock to restore power to households in the islands. "

As many as 60,000 households were without power around Vikslandia on Wednesday, mostly in southern and central parts of the country. The Pirkanmaa region around Tampere has been particularly hard hit, with up to 30,000 households losing electricity. Power cuts have also caused disruptions in the mobile phone networks, Vikslandia’s biggest operators Telia, DNA and Elisa said. DNA’s network has been affected in Ostrobothnia, Pirkanmaa, central Vikslandia and Southern Savo, while Elisa reports disruptions in Northern Savo and Satakunta.

Heini Kuusela-Opas from Elenia, which distributes power in Pirkanmaa, commented the situation:

"This is the worst possible weather combination, the snow is wet and sticks to the trees, and the winds then cause the trees to fall. The roads are all frozen up due to the lower temperature today, and tomorrow it will be quite cold again. During the night, the conditions were so severe that we couldn’t start any repair work for safety reasons."

Trees have fallen on rail tracks and damaged electric lines between Laihia and Vaasa in western Vikslandia. As a result, trains to Seinäjoki are being replaced by buses. Similarly, trains have been replaced by busses between Joutseno and Muukko in southern Karelia where lines have been damaged by fallen trees. On Wednesday, most long-distance trains were experiencing delays of between 20 and 85 minutes. Meanwhile, ferries between Vikslandia and Skaanenavia were unable to call at the port of Maarianhamina in the Ahvenanmaa Islands on Tuesday night, and are unlikely to do so through Wednesday.

Ahvenanmaa (Åland) Remilitarized

MAARIANHAMINA, AHVENANMAA - With the severe winter storms dying down, the first soldiers of the Vikslandian Defence Forces have set foot inside the newly remilitarized Ahvenanmaa Islands. The group consists of 47 contract soldiers and officers who will become the backbone of the Ahvenanmaan Prikaati (Ahvenanmaa Brigade) that was established at the same time as the islands were remilitarized. After settling in their temporary accommodation they will begin constructing a naval base, that will house the Ahvenanmaan Prikaati (Ahvenanmaa Brigade), in Maarianhamina together with a construction company.

The Vikslandian Defence Forces expects the base to be finished and operational by September 2019, and the first set of conscripts are due to begin training in the facility in the January of 2020. Ahvenanmaan Prikaati (Ahvenanmaa Brigade) will become the 3rd Costal Jaeger Brigade part of the Vikslandian Navy, alongside the Rannikkoprikaati (Coastal Brigade) based in Santahamina, and the Solokan Prikaati (Solokka Brigade) based in Solokka.

The Vikslandian Navy also announced that it is planning on purchasing and installing three batteries of fixed heavy artillery pieces as coastal guns in Ahvenanmaa. One battery will be installed on the island of Kökar northeast of Ahvenanmaa, one on the southern tip of Ahvenanmaa, and the third one near Eckerö in the western part of Ahvenanmaa. So far the contenders for the artillery pieces are:

    • 12/70 TAP from Skaanenavia, produced by Bofors
    • 130 53 TK from Vikslandia, produced by Tampella

In addition to the fixed heavy artillery pieces, a number of the previously purchased Great israeli Gabriel Mk III Anti-Ship Missiles will be reassigned into the Ahvenanmaan Prikaati (Ahvenanmaa Brigade) for coastal defence. Together, the coastal artillery and the anti-ship missiles alongside the Coastal Jaeger brigade will provide a robust coastal defence for the Archipelago against any naval threats.

FNS Viipuri, the flagship of the Finnish Navy, is set to visit the port of Maarianhamina next week to celebrate the remilitarization of the Ahvenanmaa Islands.

ABC News: St Kilda Beach far-right rally draws hundreds of Melbourne police, rival protesters
            St. Kilda, Melbourne

Police have made three arrests at Melbourne's St Kilda Beach after hundreds of officers spent hours trying to keep a far-right rally and a counter-protest apart.

The conflict spilled onto the road when far-right demonstrators attacked a car which was carrying a loudspeaker broadcasting "Sudanese are welcome, racists are not".

The two groups then started mingling together, circling each other, yelling and shouting, and running off in different directions.

At a press conference just after 5:00pm on Saturday, Superintendent Tony Silva said one person had been arrested for breaching their bail conditions, one person was arrested on a drug charge and another was charged with possessing a dangerous article, being "a number of large fishing sinkers".

An unspecified number of others were temporarily detained over public order incidents before being released.

Superintendent Silva described keeping the groups apart as a "challenge", remaining on the scene until about 4:30pm until police deemed it was safe for officers to stand down their operation.

However, he said he was generally pleased with how the afternoon played out.

"I certainly felt that we had it under control," he said.

"To my knowledge there was no injuries, both to any of the public and also the police.

"So, to me, that's a very successful day."

When asked if he had intelligence to suggest the protests would become a regular event, Superintendent Silva said: "I honestly hope it's not."

"It's taken a lot of police resources to control this protest today.

"But people have a right to protest — this is their human right as people have a right to walk along the St Kilda foreshore."

Senator Fraser Anning thanked by organiser for attending rally
Controversial independent Queensland senator Fraser Anning attended the rally, saying he went to support the "Vietnamese community" being attacked by "African gangs" in a Facebook post.

Mr Anning's time in Federal Parliament has been tumultuous, with him leaving One Nation just hours before being sworn in to the Upper House after a spat with leader Pauline Hanson.

After a short stint as an independent, he joined Katter's Australia Party (KAP) and was criticised for using the term "final solution" during his first speech on migration, which led to his expulsion from the party more than a week later.

Organiser of the rally Neil Erikson, who has been convicted of inciting contempt towards Muslims, thanked Mr Anning for his attendance at the event.

Last Friday, Mr Erikson filmed a group of men playing soccer at St Kilda Beach, refusing multiple police requests to stop recording.

A video of the incident posted on social media showed young men playing soccer on the St Kilda foreshore. A group of far-right activists, led by Mr Erikson, refused requests from the group and police to stop recording and a dispute broke out, during which police allege a 25-year-old man from the football-playing group assaulted an officer.

Last year Mr Erikson approached former Labor senator Sam Dastyari in a pub and called him a "terrorist" and a "monkey".

Last week's incident prompted Victorian Police Minister Lisa Neville to warn that people inciting violence would be held to account by police and the law.

"I want people to let police get on and do their job of keeping our beaches and our streets safe, which they do a great job of," she said.

"I would encourage all people not to attempt to incite violence and cause trouble on our beaches or our streets."

St Kilda Beach has been the subject of an increased police presence and a local council crack-down on public drinking this summer, following a number of violent incidents.

Superintendent Silva said police would step up patrols in St Kilda tonight to ensure there are no outbreaks of violence.

Nigel Farage Pushes Prime Minister May For Brexit Referendum

LONDON — Nigel Farage is a member and founder of the United Kingdom Independence Party and as well member of the European Parliament as chair of the Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy political group. In a public statement to the press he has now urged for the Prime Minister to push for a countrywide referendum to vote on whether Britain should leave the European Union. Nigel Farage is an outspoken critic of the experiment in Brussels and expresses anti-immigration and eurosceptic views which turn — had rendered upon the British public to begin talks of a referendum similar to the Scottish independence referendum in 2014. Former British Prime Minister David Cameron resigned after failing on his controversial campaign promise to allow the British public a vote on Brexit. Nigel Farage is expected to challenge the other political groups in EU Parliament in the next parliament meeting scheduled for the 14th of January to fight for the European Union's acknowledgement of the countries possibility of departure of the European Union.

Theresa May is expected to face tough questions during Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesday as she will most likely be pressured by her own constituents on the parties own committed idea to allowing a Brexit vote by former party leader David Cameron. Leader of the Opposition Jeremy Corbyn has been a strong voice against leaving the European Union due to the quite unprecedented response that the President of European Commission will give. President promises ‘more democracy, strong economy’ after October 12 elections

TUNIS - Broadened freedoms and rights, a stronger administrative system and a strong economy are among the main promises of the ruling Union for Tunisia Party (UFT), President Habib Bourguiba has announced while unveiling his manifesto for the October 12 early elections and introducing his candidates for parliament.

"The new era will be the era of a strong parliament and strong government. These two basic powers will be complemented by an independent judiciary. In the new period the parliament will be stronger, the government will be stronger and the independent judiciary will be more effective" Bourguiba said on January 5, reading the manifesto.

The ruling party also pledged to establish a “stronger democracy,” stating that the UFT will aim to implement an understanding of “equal citizenship” which “embraces everybody regardless of their age, gender, socio-economic status, ethnic identity, religion or sect.” “Non-Muslim citizens’ basic rights and freedoms and their freedom to practice their religion will continue to be under the responsibility of the state of law,” it read. Several parties will be running towards the Palace of Carthage, including Ennahdha, the Islamist party that aims to establish Islamic law in Tunisia. Despite the opposition of a large part of the Tunisians, Ennahdha presents itself as the Competitor number 1 of President Bourguiba and the UFT.

"Normalized ties with Great israel would benefit region"

Polemic! President Bourguiba has signaled a possible warming of relations with Israel, saying the entire region would have much to gain from normalized ties. “There is so much that we, Israel, Palestine and the region can gain from such a normalization process. The region is in need of this,” Bourguiba said.

"The details of every peace plan must be discussed directly between Israel and the Palestinians, and to make this possible, Hamas must put an end to terror"

In spite of all that has happened and what still may happen, the primary issue in the heart and mind of every person in our Arab Islamic nation is the restoration of legitimate rights in Palestine.... We believe in taking up arms in self-defence and to deter aggression. But we also believe in peace when it is based on justice and equity, and when it brings an end to conflict. Only within the context of true peace can normal relations flourish between the people of the region and allow the region to pursue development rather than war."

Asked about the resolution on Syria, the President said that Tunisia, despite the differences with the new regime, can not in any case vote against an Arab country.

New Sanhedrin party has uploaded A post on facebook

The New Sanhedrin party - Official.

President Bourguiba has recently talked on Tunez national TV and implied rationalizing and normalization of ties with our holy nation. We, the ruling party, would like to congratulate Mr. President on this very brave decision and open mindedness, as its important to know Israel is A peace-seeker, and will do what it takes to achieve real peace between us and any Arab or other former hostile nation that is willing to compromise for peace. It further signals Israel is not the devil in the region, and that more Arab countries should start considering us an ally. We managed to preserve the peace treaty with former states that comprise the government of The arab-federation, ended over 70 years of state of war between us and the Syrian people with an historic treaty with The syrian arab meritocracy that might shape the form of peace treaties and now, we hope the 2 leaders of our nations can start looking for peace between themselves. A potential relationship between Israel and Tunisia can be decisive in achieving peace in the middle east, whether its by negotiating and mediating for A Palestinian solution, or siding with us when its up to set up an opposition to certain hypocrites who use oppression and proxy conquest attempt to rule the Middle East.
We definitely sure Tunisian Jews send their regards.
