GSA Passports

GSA Passports will be gradually introduced from next year onwards to replace travel documents carried by nationals of the GSA's individual Member States.

GSA Passports are contain biometric information and are machine-readable. They may be issued by the Global Cooperation Council (GCC) or designated authorities from the individual Member States. The design and contents of each Passport is identical regardless of its issuing authority.

GSA Passports are printed in three different languages, those being English, Latin, and the officia; language of the issuing Member State. Passports issued by the GCC are printed in English, Latin, and the holder's self-reported native language.

The cover of the GSA Passport is dark red (hex #5c0212) and reads:

    GLOBAL SECURITY ASSOCIATION
    PASSPORT
    [Issuing authority]
    Biometric symbol

The first page contains a note which reads:

The Global Security Association requests all public authorities of foreign countries to allow the holder of this passport to pass without unlawful delay or hindrance, and in case of need to give all lawful assistance and protection.

The second page is a biodata page which contains:

    Name (SURNAME, Forename(s))
    Confirmation of GSA Citizenship
Place of birth (CITY, Country), Date of birth (DD-MM-YY)
    Biological sex (Male/Female/Intersex/Hermaphrodite)
    Gender (Male/Female/Non-binary/Gender-fluid/Transgender/Etc.)
    Issuing authority (Member State)
Date of issue (DD-MM-YY), Date of expiry (DD-MM-YY)
Passport number (2 alphabetical characters, 8 numerical digits)

The back of the biodata page contains more information designed to deter human traffickers:

    Height (in meters)
    Eye colour (Dark brown/Light brown/Amber/Hazel/Green/Blue/Gray/Heterochromous)
    Birth marks (quantity, anatomical location)
    Scars (quantity, anatomical location)
    Name at birth (SURNAME, Forename(s))
Passport number of parents (2 alphabetical characters, 8 numerical digits)

The third page contains a facsimile of the holder's signature, and an input box for emergency contact details:

    Name (SURNAME, Forename(s))
    Relation (Spouse/Child/Parent/Guardian/etc.)
    Phone number
    E-mail address

The fourth page onwards are numbered and available for general use.

Security features include optically variable devices, color-shifting ink, microtext and microprints, security threads, watermarks, intaglio prints, the embedded microprocessor chip, UV-sensitive markings, and the laser-engraved biodata page.

GSA Passports are B7-sized and contain 40 pages in total. Passports with 50 pages may be issued for frequent travellers.

State Department statement regarding GSA passport

Following discussions with the President and other heads of the government, it has been decided that the so-called GSA passport will not be recognized as a legal way of entry into the Union and that only national passports will be allowed for use. As the GSA is merely a international organization, any person attempting to enter the Union with such a passport will be denied entry at any and all port of entry.

Railroad Revitalization Announcement | ประกาศการฟื้นฟูกิจการรถไฟ

The government of Ryamwai in conjunction with Iran-e and Eulumia counterparts The Sala Group and Hujar Corp. and with Ryamwai State Railway Service has finalized a deal on the rehabilitation of the Thanbyuzayat to Nam Tok rail line. The former rail line established during the world war two era has been out of service for decades and lies in a state of disrepair along the majority of the line. The new project will aim to re-establish the old railway, clear overgrowth, and update the line to modern standards. The historic restoration project will allow the nearly full connection of the nation via rail and provide additional means of passenger and cargo transport for all of Ryamwai.

Western Ryamwai will be formally connected via rail to Central, Northern, Southeastern and Southern Ryamwai after the construction is complete. Further connection to Zhonghua-Diguo and Eulumia will also be accessible to western Ryamwai from the primary line that is already in service once the T-NT route is rehabilitated. The rehabilitation is expected to take up to four years and have an estimated final cost of $4.5 billion USD. The RSRS and local companies will be maintaining 50% of the funding budget which is around $2,250,000,000. The partner corporations of Sala Group and Hujar Corporation will together fund $1,000,000,000 of the necessary funding while the Eulumian counterparts will invest $1,250,000,000 of funds for the remainder.

This railway is expected to bring commerce and ease of travel to western Ryamwai and central Ryamwai and slightly decrease usage of cars in the region applicable as rail service will now connect the large and growing cities of western Ryamwai including Yangon, Mandalay and Naypyidaw to the capital Bangkok as well as others on both lines. The total length of the rail project is approximately 160 mi / 257 km. New stations to be built along the route will be located in Thong Pha Phum, Sangkhla, Payathonzu and Anankwin. Already existing stations along the route include Nam Tok, Kanchanaburi and Nongpladuk junction on the eastern end and Thanbyuzayat Rail Station on the western end.

Angra-IV begins construction, Natal and Parnamirim plants half-complete
The three reactors will activate in 4 years and triple nuclear's share in the energy mix
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Leonardo Ximenes de Matos

Construction for the Angra IV reactor unit began today, following a brief groundbreaking ceremony attended by officials from the Brazilian Restoration and Salvation Council (BRSC).

The new pressurized water reactor, located in the Angra Nuclear Power Plant, is expected to cost $6 billion USD and provide Brazilians with 1,400 MW of clean energy upon its completion.

Angra IV is expected to come online in 4 years, perfectly coinciding with the completion of 2 VVER-1200 nuclear reactors in Natal and Parnamirim. The pair, aptly named Natal I and Parnamirim I respectively, were ordered from the Soviet-Federation 2 years ago. They have been undergoing construction ever since as part of a $15 billion USD investment into Brazil's nuclear infrastructure.

The Angra Nuclear Power Plant is currently home to Angra I and II, which combined bear a nameplate capacity of 1,884 MW. An third unit had been under the works since 1984, but persistent delays prompted an auctioning of the incomplete reactor in 2018 to an overseas power firm. Work has not resumed as of the time of writing.

Recent droughts have threatened the country's reliance on hydroelectric power, which has supplied over 60% of electricity demand as of 2021. This has renewed the BRSC's interest in nuclear power, prompting its recent outreach to Iran-e, a pledge to invest over $50 billion USD into the industry over the next decade, and the earmarking of land in Aracaju, Vila Velha, and Maceió for nuclear development.

OOC: The acquisition of the VVER-1200 reactors in the quoted post will carry over to the Soviet-Federation.
Bilateral nuclear cooperation with the Iranian-state in the second linked post will carry over to Iran-e.

Iran is looking forward to nuclear power cooperation with Brazil as the both of us strive for combined progress in the world. With many enrichment facilities and a history of nuclear testing through many advanced research facilities, Iran has experience in peaceful domestic nuclear capabilities, which will come helpful to the collaboration with Brazil pertaining to such matters.

IRAN TO LOOK INTO POTENTIAL GSA AND EEA APPLICATIONS

The Office of the Wuzurg Framadar has announced official Iranian consideration of potential applications into the Eurasian Economic Accords (EEA) and the Global Security Association (GSA), and the weighing of potential merits and downsides to being an observer or member of either organization. Consideration of being an observer state with special status or other association agreements are also being weighed for Iran to potentially receive similar benefits without being an official member (OOC: Think Swiss-EU relations).

Those people who live in GSA nations traveling to The Nordic Kingdom for work, temporary living or tourism will be advised to use current passports issued in lieu of GSA passports that they may order.

Those with 90 day or 120 day visa free agreements with the Nordic Kingdom will be required to present a passport when requested.

Topic: Increasing Reserves of GSA-Affiliated Currency

Beijing — As trade volumes grow between China and GSA-aligned nations, businesses within China have seen increasingly higher amounts of payments done using the GSA common currency. As such, the need to convert these monies back into Dragon Dollars (Ą) has pushed the demand for the Chinese currency to higher levels, increasing its value against other currencies. In order to maintain the exchange rate stable without hurting the Chinese economy, the Central Bank of China (中国中央銀行) has decided to begin an intervention through its currency reserves - currently standing at more than Ą24.20 trillion (more than USD$3.2 trillioną).

The operation consists of selling approximately 10% of US Treasuries throughout one year, slow and orderly enough to not cause instability in the markets. Since the Central Bank currently holds Ą6.12 trillion (USD$859.4 billion˛) as of January 2023, this means a transaction worth Ą612 billion (USD$85.9 billion). With this money, the institution will buy an equal amount of the GSA common currency through the year. This policy is expected to bring further confidence to exporters and importers that do business with GSA nations, as the commercial activity continues to grow.

Ryamwai will be joining a growing list of countries who have after careful review of the recently announced Global Security Association passports decided not to recognize or accept the passports at border posts due to various issues presented by the passports. Passports from any 'international organization' will not be recognized and will be rejected by royal border guard service personnel at all ports of entry. Foreign citizens will be required to present a valid national passport from their country of citizenship and residence as normal.

After much consideration and with consultation from the Home Office's Immigration and Customs Agency, the Government of Zeleniya will tentatively recognize the GSA passport at all Zeleniyan ports of entry on the basis that it be issued under the authority of the passport holder's country of origin's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or applicable equivalent government agency. Entrants into the Republic of Zeleniya may not use passport documentation only listing "GSA" as a nationality but rather only citizenship and nationalities of which they are legally bestowed and recognized as having under their origin state's and international citizenship bylaws.

The Zeleniyan Government emphasizes that entrants into the Republic of Zeleniya, in order to avoid the potential for confusion, bureaucratic delays or denial of entry, should use passport documentation that is issued solely by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (or applicable equivalent government agency) of their home country.

Re: Re: GSA Passports

The Global Cooperation Council (GCC) has, due to external factors beyond its control and misunderstanding, announced it will be halting its plan to introduce 'GSA Passports'.

The GCC's new position is to harmonise as much design features as possible to maintain a show of solidarity, while ensuring that Member States retain full control and competence over the issuance of travel and identification documents.

It explicitly affirms, as it has previouly, that these will be national passports, with no association with the Global Security Association beyond shared design features.

It further affirms (to Zeleniya) that there is no such thing as a "GSA nationality".

Prime Minister Maggie Ng Announces Pregnancy

Prime Minister Maggie Ng has announced today that she and her husband, Mr. Patrick Swayne, are expecting their first child. Making the announcement on social media, Ms. Ng said that she and Mr. Swayne were "overjoyed" to welcome a new member of their family and to share them with all of Australasia.

Later speaking with members of the press, Ms. Ng indicated that she intended to take maternal leave, saying "Like many mothers across Australasia and the world, I do intend to take some time with my new baby after they are born. However, until that time, I will remain on the job and fully committed to delivering for the Australasian people." She also quickly noted that during her parental leave, she fully intended to "be engaged" with the happenings of government, but noted that she "completely trusts [Deputy Prime Minister] David Clarke to do an excellent job" in her place.

The arrangement will thrust Deputy Prime Minister and Country Alliance leader David Clarke into a role of unprecedented prominence, with him acting in Ms. Ng's place in Prime Minister's Questions and in foreign meetings as are needed during Ms. Ng's absence. Though considered a loyal working partner of Ms. Ng during the current coalition government, Mr. Clarke has a very different style from the media-ready, moderate Prime Minister and is perceived by many voters as being generally more conservative, brash, and combative, potentially causing issues for the coalition in its outward perception. However, it could also provide an opportunity for Mr. Clarke to gain a foothold with more voters, particularly those who may not be exposed to the Country Alliance much in their day to day lives.

Congratulations on Ms. Ng's announcement have flowed in from across the political spectrum, with Opposition Leader Garrett McLoughlin offering his "warmest wishes" to the Prime Minister and her husband during this joyous time, Greens co-leader Sienna Campbell wishing her "all the best" as she approaches motherhood, and frequent political rival and Speaker of the Aboriginal Parliament Yunda Cooke offering "prayers and celebrations" for the newest member of Ms. Ng's family.

A large woman was arrested after a rare shooting in Novy Sącz. She shot the man, who was driving a city bus at the time, in the back of the head with a .22 caliber concealed pistol with a silencer. The bus crashed into the St. John’s Holy Catholic Church; however, no one was killed during the crash. It has been reported that at least three were taken to hospital for preventative measures against minor injuries. It has long been known that silencers and concealable handguns are both illegal in Poland. According to the lady in question, she said this was a contract killing but refused to divulge who issued the contract. She’s facing three counts of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, two counts of possession of illegal firearms and a count of murder.

Story Two
Novy Sącz could very well become the new automobile manufacturing giant of Poland. A Polish billionaire and the Chinese car maker BYD Automotive have announced a joint partnership. The company will be called Słowiańska Firma Samochodowa, LLC with a ticker label of SAFS, LLC. The company looks to employ some 150 workers in their first factory in Novy Sącz; however, it looks like the building and tooling of the factory will take two years. During the building phase, some fifteen hundred workers will be employed during this process with the help of Chinese engineers and other Chinese company officials.

Story Three
The Polish bid for GSA membership has stalled due to an agreement with The Nordic Kingdom (The nordic kingdom-). The normalization of relations, which included a clause about the cessation of import and export tariffs, has caused a rift in the process of Poland being accepted into the organization. Officials in Poland have reported grown tired of the East/West duality of the entire deal but will continue to pursue this avenue. With the nations closest allies being FSSR, China and N. Africa, which are all members of the alliance, Poland hopes to achieve at least special status if not full membership.

Petrobras, Cosan, Vibra, Eneva announce merger into Brasil Energía

The Market and Consumer Protection Commission has signed off on a proposed merger between Petrobras, Cosan, Vibra, and Eneva, a move set to create one of Brazil's largest conglomerates to date.

The new conglomerate, named Brasil Energía (BE), will have a presence in every facet of the energy industry: oil exploration and extraction, biofuel synthesis, thermal and solar power generation, power distribution, and more. This will position it to explore new segments of the Brazilian market, ensure long-term market survival, and compete more internationally, particularly in emerging economies.

Petrobras, best known as the firm that embezzled billions of dollars in Brazil's largest corruption scandal to date, is a multinational oil giant with a 70-year long history. It was named the world's most sustainable oil company in 2008 and played an active role in the rebound of the country's humpback whale population from 2,000 individuals in the 1990s to almost four times that over the next decade.

There is also Cosan, which began its life as a sugarcane mill in 1936. It expanded over the years to become one of the world's largest sugar producers, as well as a heavyweight in the ethanol, natural gas, retail, and (formerly) railway sectors.

Eneva, a Rio-based power company with solar, coal, and natural gas holdings, assented to the merger with the understanding that its planned acquisition of Vibra* would be kept intact. Vibra is Brazil's largest fuel distributor, having cornered the diesel, gasoline, fuel oil, and aviation fuel markets domestically.

Vibra, which has agreed to Eneva's preliminary proposal, will be entering Brasil Energía's group structure next month.

The firms' flirtations with merging began 3 years ago, after Petrobras recorded crippling losses due to a general strike that culminated in the collapse of the Almeida administration. Market sentiments for labor-intensive businesses plunged during that period, causing numerous public firms to suffer drastic tumbles in share values. The industry has officially rebounded after the Brazilian Restoration and Salvation Council (BRSC)'s ascension to power, but uncertainties remained. The introduction of rail franchising, for example, caused Cosan to suffer significant losses after its railway operations were passed off to foreign franchisees. Additionally, Brazil's entry to the GSA has begged the question of whether these companies can, on their own, withstand the forces of international change.

The four firms combined are expected to fetch annual net revenues of over $327 billion reals, or $66.5 billion USD.**

The restructuring and merger of the companies is currently underway.

“This merger will provide significant gains in efficiency and allow our structures to survive turbulent times," said BE CEO Jean Zinner Guimarăes.

BEHDIS GAANJIA REAFFIRMS CLAIM TO DISPUTED IRANIAN GULF ISLANDS

In a speech to the Imperial Diet, the Wuzurg Framadar (Prime Minister), Behdis Gaanjia, has maintained his administration's stance on the dispute between Iran and Arabia pertaining to the islands of the Iranian Gulf.

"These islands, important to Iran, belong to our nation! Iran gained these islands throughout the early 20th centuries at a time when Arabian kingdoms were focused inward on fighting. They neglected the importance and potential of these islands; Iran saw it and took the chance to take unclaimed land. Unfortunately, Arabia realized the importance of these islands all too late, as this formerly barren land was already taken by Iran. The nation has developed these islands to a great extent, and we will not let billions of Darics be flushed down the drain just because 100 years ago, no one thought to exercise control over these islands. Arabia has had their chance, but unfortunately, they wasted it."
