Nacolio, Capital of the Romanic Empire

Machinegun fire echos through the city as Nacolio the city that had stood since the founding of the Romanic Kingdom almost 3000 years ago was now ablaze. In the past decade the Romanic Empire dubbed the sick man of the continent had crumbled. While on its decline for centuries the past decade was the real nail in the coffin. The Province of Firtisia which had been under Roman control since before 1 CE, revolted. Small minor areas once considered core territories left the empire and then it happened. Emperor Belsari took one too many rights from his people. A massive revolution began. Initially just Veterans of the Empires military and Soldiers just out of Highschool, over half of the Empires military defected. 8 brutal months of fighting brings us to the present. Nacolio ablaze. This was turning out to be the largest battle of the Civil war With over 500,000 Soldiers combined from each side involved. The Troops loyal to the current government numbered in at just around 230,000 giving the Rebel Forces an edge with them numbering in at just around 280,000. Artillery pounded the city with an entire wing of the Imperial Palace being flattened. Citizens had been evacuated from the city almost completely which gave the battle a relatively low number of civilian casulties. The Loyalists put up a stark defense with each win for the rebels being a minor pyrhic win. Yet still the Rebels pushed on Block by block, Building by building, Floor by floor, room by room. The City sky's were filled with black smog from raging fires and occasionally filled with the sounds of the fight for air supremacy above the city. Hundreds of destroyed tanks, APC's, and other armored vehicles were along the streets of the city. Eventually the rebels were able to slowly encircle the Imperial Palace. When another Block fell. The Imperial Palace was Encircled. The Rebels waited for a day or two to prepare for the coming battle then launched the attack. The Rebel Forces began their push fighting against the staunch defense. Yet as the larger battle raged the rebels had one hope to end it now. SOTF-0000 *Squad A* Comprised of Jaguar Aquilion, Atalanta Bravdo, Terra Aquilion, Quantum Torreto, Ara Bravdo, Rue Isano, Sora Maeda, Sarah Lillian, and Marella Stevens. The group split in two with the better trained group consisting of Jaguar, Ara, Sora, Quantum, and Rue going directly for the Throne room with the remaining four making sure their backs were safe.

Jaguar: Quantum, Ara Take Left, Rue, Sora Take right. Keep the guards off my back and I'll finish the job

Rue: Sir yes sir

Quantum: Roger We will clear you a pathway

The group once again splits With Rue and Sora taking a right corridor while Quantum and Ara take the right corridor. Jaguar jogs down the central hallway before kneeling behind some crates waiting for confirmation that a pathway was cleared.

Rue: Lieutenant Maeda you hear any hostiles?

Sora stands for a second her eyes closed

Sora: I hear one hostile right around the corner his footsteps are heavier. And I hear a second one with lighter steps

The brief chat ends as Rue throws a Grenade around the corner. Then the pair goes in As they proceed.

Quantum: Hey honey think you could give my stamina a boost with that googley glop

Ara rolls her eyes at the teasing from Quantum. The two were close freinds but they weren't romantically involved.

Ara: It's a herbal concoction based off of ancient potion recipes

Quantum smirks as he throws a flashback hearing the Groans of the hostile troops inside. The pair enters opening fire. The pair then continues down the corridor. 3 minutes later jaguar receives a signal

Quantum: Right wing cleared. Engaging the guards now

Rue: Left corridor Secure Engaging Hostiles. We've made you an opening sir Go for it

Jaguar: Copy that. Moving in

Jaguar hears the gunfire from the Throne room as he hops over the crates. He jogs towards the Throne room two automatic pistols in hand. He enters the Throne room and drops a few guards. The rest being too distracted to notice him. He walks towards the Throne where Emperor Belsari is cowering. Jaguar lowers his guns

Jaguar: It's over Belsari.

Belsari: I-I surrender!

Jaguar: On the ground Now

Belsari bends to get on the ground before quickly drawing a pistol and opening fire and emptying the clip. A bullet impacts Jaguars chest embedding itself in his body armor with a second bullet hitting his shoulder. Jaguar stumbles back and drops to one knee he raises his guns and drops Belsari. He drops his guns and walks over to the crown that had dropped to the ground. He slowly places it on his head. Then walks and sits in the Throne where he sees the battle has stopped he sees all his allys are mostly uninjured with no life threatening injuries. Suddenly one of the Loyalists drops to one knee bowing his head. Jaguars allys follow with finally the rest of the Loyalists bowing.

Loyalist soldier: All hail the new emperor

Rue: All Hail Emperor Jaguar Aquilion

The rest of Group A moves in and sees Jaguar with the crown on his head. The fighting for the Palace rages through the rest of the day yet when they film how jaguar was now having Loyalists bow to him much of the Loyalists surrender. Fighting rages through the country for a couple hours until finally the war ends. The fate of the country is still yet to be decided
