Three prominent Uranium mines fall under government management following nationalization

Joint ventures JV KATCO LLP and Nurlikum Mining LLC officially dissolve following nationalization of Kazakhstan based Moinkum B1S, Moinkum B2 and Uzbekistan based Djengeldi uranium mines. The three particularly high volume mines are now managed directly by the respective national uranium operators for both territories Kazatomprom and Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combinat on behalf of state run nuclear resources conglomerate Turanium until further notice. The action was taken following reviews of French nuclear production company Orano SC’s shares in the Turani uranium industry following France’s aggression towards the Republic of Maghreb, with which the administration has had cordial relations and recent embargos targeting the Union-State of Islamic Nations, a major ally since the foundation of Turan. The review staff concluded:

Orano SC’s 51% ownership of the two ventures results in France being the only country with an overall majority stake in the mines they operate in Turan.

Moinkum B1S and B2 are the two most profitable mines in Turan and the 5th largest uranium producing mine in the world.

The Djengeldi mines are the most profitable in the Uzbekistan region.

Orano SC is the only foreign entity with stakes in the Uzbek uranium mining sector.

After suggestion by the review team, the ventures were dissolved as legal entities in a campaign to diversify stakes in the mines and ensure majority ownership by local entities. Countries will be allowed to bid for a minority share in future joint ventures to replace KATCO and Nurlikum Mining in their respective mines, granted those countries will not go above 50% ownership of their combined ventures in Turan if their bid is successful. Turanium clarified that Orano SC will not be barred from the bidding process but reserve all right to reject any bid for any reason.

Both the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation and the Nawah Energy Company have informed the Turani government of their desires to submit bids to acquire percentages of what the French formally possessed. The National Shura Council on Energy hopes that the Turani government will approve the bids that will allow for greater economic development across the Greater MENA region and further safety to the global supply of uranium and successful practices of safe uranium extraction and processing.

Thevious Kingdom of Annecy | September 2021
A Throw of the Gauntlet

The Thevious King Ogden Vergoossen entered from the portal to Osiris, his nation restored from a state of decay and death he feared could never be recovered from. In his right hand was an iron gauntlet, studded with jewels and stones; in his left was a pamphlet of plain make.

He spoke before the assembled people of the Commonwealth of Liberty:

"I have in my hand a Dispatch, stolen from another region by one of your own! I am here to call out Nonador for their treachery and brazen theft of the Alteran Republics and of the great United Prefectures of Noronica! They shall forever be branded a thief and a scoundrel, and for as long as they shall be in your presence stain the reputation of your 'Commonwealth' in they eyes of the fair people. May you all hang your heads in shame for these crimes!"

“I am from the Netherlands, so that means
we like to stick to the rules, and we like
to stick to the deal, and we like countries
to do what they have promised”

Said the thief, who despite being a member of a region that touts itself as masters in "Detailed, Creative, Storytelling" stole a dispatch from two other users without consultation and credit that would get [citation needed] plastered all over it.

Nice try, but no. Keep proving why COL is the trashiest RP region on-site though, it makes for good comedy.

The Economist Germany - The German Way : A Foreign Policy based on trust by Scheffner

Mentioned : Canovia

Recent events in the Middle East and Africa have prompted Scheffner's foreign policy plan to bring forth a new foreign policy system called "The German Way". [...] German foreign policy has always been on the softer approach with lots of elements of transparency which put together form a solid ground for international relations. Germany intends to play the role of a diplomacy maker for Europe with the great partners. "The global stage has shifted. And it is time for Germany to put a clear basis on its relations. Who we trust, who we want to trust, and who we have to observe in the coming years". Already Scheffner is planning to meet Prime Minister Boris Johnson for bilateral talks on foreign policy visions. No doubt The German Way will begin in Europe.

The Energy Review - Electricity and gas will keep going up. Energy independence will not change anything

The Syndicate of Energy Producers is raising the alarm. Energy markets are facing a huge increase in demand and offer can't keep up. November seems to already take its tole on the energy demands in Germany and perhaps Europe. [...] "we expect an increase of 7% in prices between now and February 2027" says the Energie Agentur für Deutschland. Associations of Consumers are not happy. "Poor people are going to face hardships. Some may not even heat their homes anymore". [...] Yesterday, Minister of Energy Peter Bloch announced a package of aid but insisted that Europe must take action against this rising of prices. Despite German independence in energy, the market makes the price even when regulated by law.

The Frankfurter Zeitung - The new TGV announces the high speed train war between France, Italy, Spain and Germany

Mentionned : Ranponian Metropolitan Francais New Provenance

Few days after the new TGV of France was announced, Siemens announced the new ICE train model 5. The ICE 5 is also expected to be exported worldwide especially in the asian market. Currently four countries are fighting the market of high speed trains between SNCF, RENFE (Spain), TRENITALIA (Italy) and DEUTSCHE BAHN (Germany). [...] The ICE 5 is expected to be a better success than its predecessor the ICE 4 only sold partly in Africa and barely in Netherlands. Expert in transport market Brian Richmond of Cambridge University explains that there is a increased investment in rail rather than air transport which many actors in Europe have anticipated. But are all trains really the same ? No says Siemens CEO. "The ICE 5 is meant for tracks that are not as perfectly straight as for the TGV. Thats why our trains are slower but are more flexible and don't need a perfect combination of weather, power and rail design. Its like the difference between the Ferrari of TGV and the Porsche Cayenne of ICE. Sure, we are slower, but its because we are meant to go in places the TGV cannot go. [...] Alstom is looking into the very high speed lines while we look at the normal high speed lines. Thats our bet".

German Military Conference ends with the conclusion of a modern navy soon to be ready

The great German Military Conference of Bonn ended today after 6 days of intense discussions between all sides of the Bundeswehr. "Clearly, our land forces are expected to be lower in numbers but the navy and the air force is going to receive a massive surprise with the soon to be accomplished modernisation of our assets". Indeed, Germany will soon unveil the MS160, the largest and most expensive ship ever built since World War 2.

    Anglo-Sudanese Relations: Resumed

LONDON HEATHROW AIRPORT, HILLINGDON, LONDON, Canovia — MORNING

Sitting on the tarmac of the runway at London Heathrow Airport, a modified Airbus A330 called the VIP Voyager was preparing for her journey to Khartoum International Airport — where former Prime Minister visited approximately two year earlier to re-establish relations with the Sudanese. Although a failure due to the establishment of the FrAnglosphere and a sense of distrust from the Sudanese (and other Anglosphere countries), it was remarked as a major blunder for Boris Johnson and his foreign policy. With a dramatic need to repair broken relations with former and potential partners — Prime Minister Rishi Sunak would embark on his trip to Khartoum to gain the trust and cooperation of the Sudanese government.

With the engines revving and the prime minister climbing the stairs of the aircraft, the plane would begin its steps for take-off. With the pilots announcing their readiness of take-off, the Prime Minister and fellow diplomats would take their seats. With the plane going full speed, the wheels lifted off the runway and the plane ascending into the sky. The colours of the Union Jack would be in the skies, soon to be seen in Khartoum.

KHARTOUM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, KHARTOUM, Nileia — AFTERNOON

Making its final descent — the Airbus A330 would touch the tarmac of the runway, coming to a smooth stop. Taxiing at the designated area, the plane’s engines would cut off. Lowering the steps — the Prime Minister would look towards the sun and then to the vehicles sent to him by the British embassy. Escorted to the Sudanese Prime Minister’s (or President’s) residence, the Prime Minister would begin his discussions with the Sudanese, hoping to mend and successfully cooperate with the Sudanese, unlike his predecessor Boris Johnson.

GERMANY'S LUFTHANSA TO OPEN BI-MONTHLY A340 AND B787 ROUTES FROM BERLIN TO MALABO, EQUATORIAL GUINEA

MADRID - With tourist numbers in Equatorial Guinea tripling every week and every few days on some occasions thanks to a mix of Spanish Government focus on the region in terms of investments and nationbuilding and billions of dollars worth of foreign investments, particularly $5 billion dollars from Metropolitan Francais, demand for the opening of additional routes from major cities in Europe and North Paramerica to Equatorial Guinea's capital Malabo has boomed in recent months. Only last month, Paramerican airlines United and Paramerican opened bi-monthly routes from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Malabo's Malabo International Airport, which recently opened its first terminal to international flights. Spain's flagship airline, Iberia, has also opened bi-weekly flights from Madrid to Malabo using its fleet of Airbus A321 aircraft and is currently in discussions with the Equatorial Guinean Airport Authority to open a Barcelona-Bata route, between the tourist hub of Barcelona and the Equatorial Guinean port city of Bata on the African mainland. With over 2,749 tourists visiting Equatorial Guinea in the last month alone, demand has begun to skyrocket as more and more Spanish investments are poured into what is becoming the Jewel of Spain. Germany's flagship airline, Lufthansa, publicly announced that the European giant will be opening bi-monthly flights from Berlin to Malabo, in Equatorial Guinea two times a month. On the 10th of every month, Lufthansa will fly an Airbus A340 on the Berlin-Malabo route from Berlin to Malabo then from Malabo to Berlin. On the 25th of every month, the airline will also be flying a Boeing 787 on the same route, going from Berlin to Malabo then back to Berlin. Lufthansa is expected to start flying their Berlin-Malabo route as early as December of 2026, ahead of the holiday season. Spanish Minister of Tourism Reyes Maroto stated that 'the support of our partners, particularly the Paramerican and German airlines, are greatly appreciated. Together we can help allow our peoples to explore the world and support the local industries in Equatorial Guinea'.

Sitting down across from the Sudanese Prime Minister, Rishi would answer his host.

RISHI SUNAK, Prime Minister: "Why thank you Mr. Naji. Well, the last time Britain and Sudan began to normalise relations, it took a sour turn as my predecessor, Mr. Boris Johnson announced the formation of the FrAnglosphere. I was a part of those meetings and discussions and I see why it would cause concern with the Anglosphere and some scepticism towards the United Kingdom. Today I want to gain the trust of the Sudanese and put the past behind us and move forward. My predecessor wanted to form a strong bond with Africa — not to further tensions between former empire and former colonies. With that being said, I believe it’s time to start investing in Sudan’s future so it can be a reliable and strong partner for the British in Africa, and hopefully we can be a trusted and strong major partner for Sudan in Europe."

Democratic Spring and Liberty Korea in Polling Deadlock

Koreas main two political groups parties; the centre-left Democratic Spring and the right-wing Liberty Korea, have been stuck in a dead heat in the opinion polls as the scandal around Prime Minister Yi Jung-hee starts to fade from relevance and the outcome of the committee hearings. Prime Minister Yi’s party was flagging behind in the polls sitting at about 34% on average, which has steadily risen up to 38%. The Liberty Korea Party has dropped back down to 37% from a high of 42% during the committee trial.

Rumours were previously circling about a possible stalking horse candidate to Prime Minister Yi by AMs in his own party. One of the figures regularly touted was Jin Sun-mee, who served as Minister of Equality under Prime Minister Kang Kyung-wha before being demoted out of the cabinet after the 2024 election by Prime Minister Yi. Not much ever transpired from the rumours as no challenge was ever announced, however rumours are steadily growing that a number of AMs are planning to put a vote of no-confidence in Yi’s leadership of Democratic Spring. If he failed to win the vote a leadership election would be called, which he could stand in if he wished.

While the Prime Minister has made no direct comment on the rumours, senior allies have urged caution about such a challenge and confidence vote as it could seriously damage the party’s standing and throw away a potential polling lead.

ITALIAN GOVERNMENT TO SEEK EXTENSIVE COOPERATION WITH THE PROVINCES REGARDING NAVAL DEPLOYMENT

NOVEMBER 2026

The Italian Government has made a universal statement regarding cooperation with its Balkan Provinces which possess their own Defence Forces and thus their own Naval Force. Under the new Strategy thus announced, it has been promised that Italy shall issue financial support to modernize the Naval and Coastal Forces of the Provinces in exchange for small scale reductions in the Italian Navy's own deployments in the Dalmatian Sea. By devolving Italy's role in that area it is believed they can better foster an aura of cooperation between the Provinces and the Mainland, and as a result increase joint deployments and training. Additionally by conducting such changes it would decrease the total number of Naval personnel needed by the Italian Navy and increase the Naval Forces of the Provinces, thus better sharing the responsibility of defending their Borders and Waters. Primary considerations regarding a general increase in Naval Forces consist of the construction of more Condottieri-class Frigates and Comandanti-class patrol vessels. Both Vessels have planned increases in store within the Italian Navy and thus a simple transfer of ownership is seen as positive.

It has been considered an operational necessity to increase the contributions and self-determination of the Provinces in military terms in response to military reconstructions occurring in the Rump State of Yugoslavia. These territories, having made their opposition to reunification clear have no lack of manpower willing to enlist to maintain their own self rule, lacking only Finances which in this case Italy could provide on their behalf.
