PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
JULY 1st, 2012

With the current conflict between the Kyavani Loyalists and the Golden Throne Loyalists getting hotter. It is in our best interests to get involved. With our royal majesty's approval, we officially declare war on the Kyavani thronist movement and their allies. We in turn declare support for the Kyavani loyalists and their allies, the Watester Concordat.

FROM THE OFFICE OF THE MINISTER OF WAR

The order of the holy inquisitors, Russia major, Rusliv, and Seattle autonomous zone

The order of the holy inquisitors

A Decree from the Vatican
It has come to our attention the various heresies perpetrated by the late Alexander Aelrich, and various members of the Phalangite League. The Order is willing and able to tolerate disagreements among friends, but the blatant fabrication of the will of the Lord by the Golden Throne is wholly unacceptable. From this point forwards, the Order shall be in a state of war with the Golden Throne, and shall aid the Independent Kyavan under Empress Evangeline.

The Guyanas (70k men for the initial landing, 350k men total for this operation)
Alexios stood with his captains. They had spent the past few days of the voyage planning, and their scouting aircraft hadn’t encountered opposition just yet. Perfect.

“I do believe we are ready for this, are there any last concerns I need to be made aware of?”

“No, Elmirant. Nothing new from the Vatican, and our forces are ready for landing.”

“Excellent Captain.” Alexios thought for a second. “I’ll be riding in with the Ex Corps Green directly. Make sure the reinforcements arrive in time.”

“Yes, Elmirant.”

Alexios walked to the landing ships, taking his place in one of them. As the ships were lowered, he looked out at the coastline. Kynoran Colombia.

OOC 70k men doing the landing, with cruiser-based missile and carrier-based air support, with an additional 280k on the water to join and fortify once beachfront has been secured.

Kynoran Antarctica (70k men total for the landing and takeover)
The frozen wastes lie just a small trip south of the Order itself, and the men of the 7th Heavy Infantry Corps was to take it. A relatively small force, backed with few ships but heavy air support from land bases not far away, was dispatched to handle the situation.

Maraú Peninsula, Brazilian Coast
The soldier looked out from the hill. In front of him sat the base, more active than ever. With landings having begun elsewhere, new Marines and Infantry forces had been brought in. Hopefully they, along with the aircraft there, would be sufficient to hold, though even if not, there was plenty of material in the Order that could move here if it became necessary.

The Vatican
Isaac sat in the hallway patiently. He hadn’t heard anything in hours, the doors had been sealed. Then, footsteps. The doors swung open, and two men in robes stepped out.

“It was his time, it seems. I’m sorry Isaac, your Uncle has passed.”

The tears came quickly. Uncles and their nephews always had a special relationship in the Order, given that anyone in the Clergy only had their nephews to carry on the family name.

“Does Alexios know yet?”

“Not of this most recent development, he’s on campaign. We thought it best not to distract him.”

“He’ll find out soon enough if you don’t tell him. In the meantime, is there anything you need of me?”

“The Council needs you to stay in the Vatican, preferably the Cathedral itself. It will make communication quicker, which may be important if things go downhill soon.”

Isaac frowned. He had never been overly spiritual, at least compared to his fellow Austores. He hoped things didn’t go downhill, as his relation with the Council wasn’t as warm as it ought to be.

“Very well.”

Isaac turned to walk out. He had to tell Eden.

Dear children of Kynor,

Once again our way as a people and a nation are threatened. For the past weeks conflict has been escalating more and more between the two regional alliances, The Phalangite League and the Watester Concordat. Just recently however, Kyavani rebels lead by Lysander the Bastard have stormed the Golden Throne Capital of Urbeaurum and have as well besieged the six spires building for the Phalangite League. As a member nation of the league and as one of its Six Council members it is the duty of the Kynoran people to uphold its alliance with the other Phalangite powers against those who wish to see it collapse. As your Exalted-Emperor and Supreme Commander of the Imperial Armed Forces I formally declare that the Exaltatum Imperium of Kynor will join its Phalangite brothers and sisters against the Watester Concordat that seeks the dissolution of the PL and our ally the Golden Throne. We shall not concede no matter the cost for we are Kynorans and we shall die as such. DEUS TECUM KYNOR!

Dispatched from the office of His Exalted Imperial Majesty Daniel II Kynor By the Grace of God, Exalted-Emperor of Kynor and Supreme Commander of the Imperial Armed Forces of Kynor

San Jose de los Kynorenos, Kynor
29/6/20

With Kynor's entrance into the war, the Imperium has quickly scrambled to mobilize. News of an invasion of Guyana by the Austori had reached San Jose which prompted the Emperor to deploy 500k men to the Duchy and two carrier groups to the Guyanese coast, for now however there remains only 50k men stationed in Guyana.

"Hmm it seems that the traitorous order has decided to rear its head, how bold of them to attack mainland territory" said one of Daniel's generals

"Indeed, they appeared to have certainly taken us by surprise but we must not yield even in the most unlikely of scenarios for this war is just another test thrown to us by the Lord and in his name we shall send the Austori back to their island." Said Daniel II

"Yes we shall your majesty, however this attack is very telling of the current state we are in, we have the Austoris soon landing on the mainland and according to transmissions down in our Antarctic base they plan to invade there as well, what shall we do."

"We must take haste of course and not let a single meter in Guyana be occupied by traitorous heretical inquisitors, for now however we must pray that the Lord will be with the 50,000 men stationed in Guyana today. We must also send a carrier group to the Guineas incase the Austori are really using this landing as a distraction to attack more vulnerable regions. I'll put you in charge of that operation, Caballero Alejandro."

"Affirmative your majesty, we shall make sure that the Imperium doesn't fall"

"Nobiscum Deus!"

In the midst of the day, north to south and west to east, all broadcasts and podcasts are interrupted, as "Imperial Mandatory Message" appears white on a black background on all screens with Mej Maa playing on the background. After the quick but attention-taking message, it ends, and live footage looking of Miska in his uniform inside his office, organising his papers, and starting his speech;

"My brethren, Karelignians, Fennians, Karelians, Saamians! The foreign powers are once again, like so many times in the past, threatening the very establishment we know as the Union of our People! We can not, will not, must not, let such a crime happen! It is the very right and responsibility of every Northman, from poor to rich, from weak to strong, to protect our fatherland! No price must be too high to pay for the sovereignty and liberty of our kin! With our allies far and wide, we will together safeguard the safety of our People! May the Gods be on our side, Turisas grant us might in the struggle, Perkele smite our foe to Tuonela! Onwards, To Viktoria!"

Interruption ends, and the earlier shows and whatnot continue. Now with his people informed and moralised, Miska can focus on other matters.

New Tussia has begun a trade deal with The order of the holy inquisitors.

Multiple ships will be sent to trade with them along with an escort of:
1 Nimitz Class Carrier (With mostly anti-naval planes and a few fighters).
23 Missile Destroyers
3 Light Cruisers

Noire, look, we have to make a change in the plans!

Noire, 1005 :
What is it? It's the war, isn't it?

Si, 1005 :
Well, exactly that! The Imperial Realm, as I realised, could not open the doors to the Divine Realm befor ethe war is over, nor change currency, while we have to take care of our security.

Noire, 1006 :
Ugh... I guess it's fine, then. Just, try take care of it all as fast as possible, we have been planning this for so long, and I was already excited to see you for a while.

Si, 1006 :
As does love, Noire, so does war and politics move on their own pace, we can only stop or start them. I was waiting to see you aswell, but this is just how it is. Worry not, I promise to put this matter on the first in line to be finished after the war, shall the Gods grant us Viktoria.

Noire, 1007 :
Well, I trust you will do that. But remember that I will not be helping you in this conflict, it is for the best.

Si, 1007 :
I actually agree not to get help! ^_^
Anyways it was nice to talk to you again, even if in matters of politics and whatnot, see you soon as possible, Noire!

Noire, 1007 :
See you too! May you emerge victorious!

Eltiyorr, Droiden

Henrik Brandensson had never seen such utter bullsh**. Today began as a normal day for Edgar's personal chef. But that all changed at the Morning Meeting. Droiden, a historically anti-Golden Throne nation, now joining it. The Native Faith was to fade for the very religion that his forefathers fought to remove. He was outraged. Were it not for that damned Furstheimer w**re... Brandensson rose from his desk, and made way to the kitchen, and began cooking up something. A simple rabbit stew, mostly. But, Henrik knew of a secret area within the kitchen. He turned to the bookshelf, and began to look through the books of recipes and tonics and special drinks. He was looking for something, nothing that would stick out immediately, as his father told him, but something that would no doubt be out of place. A book on stews, a treatise on meat cuts, a pamphlet on the Northern World's greatest alcoholic drinks all sat on the shelf, when... the Cook-turned-assassin found it. A deep purple journal, titled "Bhanol" sat pristine on the shelf, disguised among the other treatises on the shelf. He took the journal from the shelf, and began flipping through it. Eventually, Henrik came across a pressed leaf. He takes the leaf from the Journal, shreds it, and puts it in the pot. The leaf shreds disappear into the stew, and cook up nicely. When the Kongur sits down for his afternoon meal, there is nothing to suspect...

"Ah, another meal, Henrik? I do love these stews." Kongur Edgar grins as he sits down with a very pregnant Kaisa. It is rumoured that she will give birth to quadruplets.

"Aye, my liege. A very special meal for you both this day. Rabbit stew with herbs and spices." Henrik grins, knowing that soon, Edgar, Kaisa, and any sort of bowing to the Golden Throne would be removed.

"It smells very nice, Henrik, but I... I..." Kaisa stands, and rushes to the bathroom, presumably to avoid throwing up everywhere. The Konguren-Consort had been rather ill during the pregnancy.

"Oh, dear... I should go and he-" Edgar is cut off

"No, worry not, my liege, I am sure an aide will attend to her." Henrik speaks in a reassuring tone.

"Well... I have not eaten today..." Edgar ponders for a moment "Alright, I shall eat."

"Good, good, my liege. I promise that Kaisa shall be alright." Henrik ladles some of the stew out, carefully assuring that some of the poisonous plant makes its way into Edgar's bowl.

The Kongur spoons some into his mouth, savoring the meal. As he swallows, a burning sensation begins in his esophagus

"Wow.. this is... spicy." Edgar reaches for his mead and sips. This makes the sensation worse. Edgar coughs. It is a bloody cough.

"Henrik... call for... a medic..." Edgar crumbles to the floor, still coughing up blood. Henrik rushes to get a medic, knowing it is too late. Edgar realizes that this day will be his final day on earth, and cries out in pain. For Kaisa, for Rebecca, for his mother, and finally, for Cienar to wrap him in her loving embrace. The dying Kongur reaches for his axe one last time, to read the inscription upon it. "The victorious will rise to the glory of the Gods." Edgar sighs oncemore, and breathes in one final time, the metallic taste of his blood on his tounge. His heart slows to a stop, and the Kongur dies. The medic arrives, and attempts to revive Edgar. Unfortunately, it is of no use. Upon her return from the bathroom, aided by several nurses, Kaisa bursts into tears, attempting to awaken the Kongur. It is to no avail. The Kongur is dead. His death is ruled an accident, and justice will not be served. But, unfortunately for Henrik, there is hope for Droiden still. With Skard in
New Tussia with his new bride, and with Tobian campaigning, the Regency passes to Fiedri. The Kongurreich remains at the side of the Golden Throne.

Imperian Palatse, Imperial Living Room balcony

It was a cold evening, when Miska was looking at the darkening sky and thinking and pondering his actions. War was drawing near to his land any time, that was all in Miska's mind. It could be now, it could be the next moment, it could even cease to exist before it began. He could take no chances, he had to be ready any time. He had chosen war, he liked it or not, and had to fight along side his people, for his people, and himself. He had too many things to worry about. What if he had chosen wrong? What could he have done better? Or was he just thinking too much right now? Why did people have to always fight for petty things? He too just wanted to snuggle with the Empress, Have a friendly duel with Lady of Lastation, or just rest. As he was trailing off to another things, he heard a voice behind him.

"Dark times ahead of us, are they not?" Nikolas nods behind Miska who is now looking at him from the corner of his eye.

Miska look down from the balcony. "Indeed it seems so. Your voice doesn't sound like you have any news recommending for the tide to turn, yes?"

Nikolas takes off his hat and takes it on his heart. "The fair statesman of Droiden, Kongur Edgar, has travelled to afterlife after enjoying soup and mead... blessed be his soul. We would expect Droiden to have some sort of unrest of even another riot, but that is only being pessimistic. The reports say it was an accident, but as far as our networks are sure, he might as well been murdered. We are not sure who would have caused his death, but we are sure a healthy man does not start coughing blood simply from eating. Rest assured the regency that is in the country now is loyal to the League."

Miska puts his right fist on his heart. "He was a good man indeed, shame I got only meet him once before he was taken from us. But what about Kaisa, is she alright? I swear if someone harms her I will personally-"

Nikolas stops Miska and continues. "Your sister would be glad to hear of your care for her, but that is not necessary. I do assured you that she is completely fine. Though of course if a murderer would be so spineless as to try take down Edgar's whole branch, Kaisa, a pregnant woman included, the Shadow guard will join your cause in bringing such a rat on a pike. But for now, she is completely safe. End of the report."

Miska nods. "Indeed, the time is that now. Thank you Nikolas, you may go now."

As by that, Nikolas vanishes without a trace. "Surma Suojelee."

Berlin, Brandenburg Province, Zentralreich

Wilhelm sat with his top general, advisor, and close friend Gunther Haas, analyzing with him the recent international developments taking place. Wilhelm sighed deeply. The threat of war with the neighbors of the Zentralreich was inevitable.

Gunther leaned over and began to send orders to various military leaders throughout the Zentralreich. Forces would be mobilized on the borders of the The Ruby Ranch Republic and Russia major. The Zentralian Navy would be deployed into the Baltic Sea.

Wilhelm and Gunther stood up and walked into the Kaiser's office. From there Wilhelm began to record a broadcast.

"Attention Zentralian citizens and citizens of the Azure-Watester Federation. As of right now a state of war exists between the Zentralreich and all nations at war with the Phalangite League. Although I have my personal distastes for war, I will not allow allies of the Zentralreich to go without our aid. Our forces will soon see great success. May God bless you all."

Wilhelm bows before the broadcast ends.

Hamburg, The Ruby Ranch Republic
2 June, Year of Our Lord God and his Northern Saints 2020
06:00 hours

Grimwald Cadwallader, the Lord-Mayor of Hamburg awoke to the sound of gunfire. The Northmen had arrived.

"Piss, they're here."

The Lord-Mayor takes his shotgun, and awaits the breach of his palace.

--------------------10 minutes later--------------------

"Blood, Blast, and Fire!" Arjen bellows the Droidenean War Cry once more. His men had breached the city relatively easily.

"Forward men! We have a mayor to slay!" Tobian rallied his troops as a cheer rose within them while they rushed through the streets.

Arjen is shot in the arm causing him to stagger backwards. This triggers something within him, and he begins to feel a rage rise within him. The berserkergang was upon him.

"By the sword in my hand..." Arjen rose to a yell "WE SHALL CONQUER THIS LAND!"

The Droidenean rushed forward, towards a fortification. This had been giving the Droideneans trouble with the capture of the city. Arjen rushed forward, and with
a mighty swing, he crushed the machine gunner's skull in, the other two men behind the fortification aimed their rifles at the man, but it was too late for them. Arjen had taken his war axes and chopped into their heads with brutal force. The Droideneans advanced, with the berserkergang upon Arjen. A Ranchian soldier, out of ammo, rushed at the mighty Arjen, managing to stab him through the stomach with a combat knife. Arjen was not bothered by this, and took the knife from his stomach, and drove it into the Ranchian's throat. Arjen continued, blood slowly seeping from the wound.

As the Droideneans neared the palace, they found themselves nearly evenly matched. But, Tobian, finally, allowed himself and his men to enter the berserkergang. The Ruby Ranch's men stood little chance at defeating the Raging Norsemen, for every man they killed only stoked the fires of rage within them more and more.

"God and the Saints are with us!" Tobian yelled as he was shot in the chest several times. His armor, thankfully plated with Krudkalav, was too strong for the rounds to penetrate, and Tobian continued the charge. The Norsemen's axes and rifles easily broke the defense put forward by the Ranchians outside the palace. As the last defender fell, axed in the gut by a giant Droidenean, Tobian yelled out.

"Lord-Mayor! Come out now and face your death!" There was no response

"You will be given five seconds to comply before we enter and hang your head."

"5."

"4."

"3."

"2."

"1."

Nothing.

"Haugi, then, Lord-Mayor."

Tobian, Arjen, and 3 other Droideneans enter the Lord-Mayor's residence. They ransack the place, and eventually make their way to the Lord-Mayor's quarters. Arjen had since sat down, for he was losing strength from his wounds. Tobian chopped into the door, as a final warning to the Lord-Mayor, and kicked it in. The Lord-Mayor aimed his shotgun at Tobian, and fired. This time, the buckshot penetrated the armor. However, one of the Remaining Droideneans shot the mayor in the knee, knocking him to the ground. The Lord-Mayor's right arm was hacked off, and it was used to break his own jaw. The Droideneans then took the man's head. Tobian was badly injured, but survived, as did Arjen. The Droideneans raised the Banner of Droiden over the city. The Day was won.

Valek is sitting with his generals, when a box arrives.

"I'm not expecting a package. What could this be?"

Valek opens the box, and the smell of rot assaults his nostrils. The head of Lord-Mayor Grimwald Cadwallader sat within the box

"By Cthulu... the Norsemen have infiltrated us..."

The Golden Throne Shall Fall.

The nation was at the brink of War once more. As Kyavani Loyalists clashed with Thronists, the Watester Concordat found itself at war with the Phalangite League.

New Imperial Britannia’s entry would have to be proposed by the Cabinet and approved by the King, though in this case it was but a rubber stamp. The King had decided on war; it was now up to the Cabinet to declare it. And declare it they shall, for in a few hours, a short message had been drafted and was now ready for broadcast.

It has come to our attention that the Kyavani Loyalists has begun their struggle for independence. As a member of the Watester Concordat, and a member of its Security Council, The Cabinet, on this First of July, with the approval of the King, do declare that:
- New Imperial Britannia shall be in a state of war with the Phalangite League.
- The British Armed Forces are to be deployed in accordance with the Order of Battle as published by the Ministry of War.

An undisclosed location on the countryside.

Thomas Carter had escaped from the Military Police, for now. It would be some time before they caught on to his trail once again, and he could use that time to hide once more.

Thomas was driving his truck, since re-painted and disguised, listening to the radio when he heard the news. The nation was once again going to war.

Though he hated the constant wars of Imperialism and generally the constant warfare, it was a good opportunity. If the war effort failed, he could incite a mass rebellion...

It was the stuff of daydreams, Thomas reminded himself. The Massacre at London’s Square laid fresh in his mind, the screams of the workers reminding him of his foolishness. Thomas knew he would not be so lucky next time, if he were to be caught he would surely be executed.

He knew of hidden Communists in the Empire. Scotland, mostly, as it was a land far away from the economic and political centre of the nation. The plan was to go up and get some help. He could not do this alone.

Was it treason to do so, especially during wartime? Yes, but in Thomas’s mind a charge of Treason against a government soon to cease to exist was not an issue. What was, however, was the distant blaring of the sirens. The Military Police had come for him again.

London Naval Base.
The invasion would start here, with the fleet splitting in two. One heading for Droiden, the other to patrol and defend the English Channel. The goal was to destroy their navy, and prepare for a landing of Droiden. At the very least the Navy and Air Force was to destroy the Droidenean naval bases and neutralize their navy.

The Army would take Ireland as soon as possible, then Greenland and Canada. That would be the first stage: Secure the British Isles and other territories.

Gibraltar had given the High Command a lesson that was well worth learning. With coastal defences around the Strait, crossing into the Mediterranean would be dangerous and likely to fail. So until full naval superiority was achieved, there would be no landing in mainland Kyavan, nor an attempt to cross the Straits of Gibraltar.

The order of the holy inquisitors

“Elmirant Alexios, the landings have progressed as planned. Shall we prepare to march forwards?”

“Marching will come soon enough Commander, but you’ll recall the terrain we’re working in isn’t the most welcoming to foreign invasion. We’ll bring in more resources here, as our enemy will be doing the same.”

“Good choice sir. Shall we send for the 1st Grand Army?”

“I already did, they should arrive soon.”

“Ah, even better. Anything else we can do, sir?”

“Not presently, though I’ll be taking a brief walk. I’d like to remain undisturbed if possible.”

Alexios stepped out of the war room, onto the still hot streets.

He walked, not to find somewhere.

Rather, to find himself somewhere.

In the end, it was a small church tucked away in a back alley that caught his eye. Alexios found himself walking to the altar, not entirely sure why. He began to search. For what, he didn’t quite know. Throwing open cabinet doors, overturning tables, until his eyes settled on a small compartment. His hand moved not for the hosts, but the wine.

Seating himself at the base of the altar, Alexios poured the wine into a small bowl. With one fluid motion, he pulled flames from the wine. He stood in silence. Watching. Waiting.

Waiting.

Waiting.

And nothing came of it.

In a scream of anguish, he slammed down, and the bowl shattered, scattering flames across the room. Alexios stormed out.

“Eden? Where are you?”

A servant poked his head in. “Good morning, Isaac. She’s in the garden.”

“Thank you.”

Isaac walked to see his sister seated on a stone in the pond. Eyes closed, she sat breathing, letting the scented candles around her dim and glow.

“Eden, I just found out -“

“I know.”

“No, you don’t. My uncle, he’s-“

“Dead. I know.”

He paused. “How? Nobody else has been told.”

“You cannot feel his absence? Unfortunate.”

“And you do know that Alexios has already been selected for our Uncle’s place?”

“Yes. Unlike you, I actually care a bit about what the Council does.”

“Not like it’ll get you anywhere. They’re still not the most open-minded people, those old husks.”

She smiled. “No, I suppose not.”

“Now, if you’re almost done here, we’ve got duties to tend to. House Cysaren is now without clear leadership.”

Eden turned back to the candles. She began the movements, and the sparks seemed to dance around her.

July 2, Year of Our Lord God and his Northern Saints 2020
21:45 hours

The lifeless body of Edgar III lay motionless upon the pyre. The families had gathered at the pyre, as well as the most respected Jarls, Generals, and Aristocrats of the Kongurreich. Fiedri stood, black robes adorning his body. He looks around at the men and women in his company, and rose his voice in song.

"The Song of the Goose
Carries my soul to God and the Saints
When I raise my sword against the Haugbui
The tears of my kinfolk are of joy
For their knowledge of my victories is great

When I long for the skies of my home
I sing the song of my people
And the deepest longing within me
Fades as I raise my sword
In defense of the Saints and of God

Everything I hold
Belongs to the Natural Realm
It shall now be reunited

Dies Father
Dies Coin
But that which does not die is Word
And he who speaketh such words

Ash to Ash, Dust to Dust
Hvil i fred"

The last paragraph is repeated by everyone. Those carrying blades kneel, driving their blades into the sand. Fiedri stands.

"Kinsmen. Comrades. We gather at this sea. At this loss..."

"We weep" The Family and Comrades speak in unison

"At this Ancient Flame..."

"We Grieve."

"For the Fallen..."

"We shout."

"His spirit departs. The flame shall be lit." Fiedri takes a torch, and lights the pyre.

"If you wish to remain, do so. If not, go in peace." Fiedri looks to the Oberjarls

"My Uncles, remain. We have much to discuss."

"Of course, Nephew" The men reply in unison. Fiedri walks with his uncles down the beach

"Alright, Uncles. We must choose a Kongur."

"You, Fiedri." Gilles speaks

"Aye" Andreis confirms

"Me? Why so?"

"Skard is anti throne, Tobian is anti throne. We dislike them." Gilles speaks

"Well, I suppose I shall vote for myself then. That is a majority." Fiedri nods

Eternal spain

Days of fierce combat between the Royalist and Partisan troops ensued in Northern Spain, the 3rd Armoured Corp made a successful push for Leon in an attempt to disrupt the enemy supply lines while the partisan forces struggle to maintain their positions due to their severe lack of aerial superiority and disorganized leadership.

In Southern Spain, the luck of the partisans had not been much different, the lack of foreign support and the reluctance of the Spanish administration to involve itself directly in the ongoing war put a dent in their plans and now all Partisan efforts were concentrated on slowing down the Monarchist war effort.

To achieve said goal the partisan forces coordinated a strike (with equipment proportioned by a foreign force) in the strait of Gibraltar, Anti-Ship missile batteries set undercover on the Moroccan coast rained hellfire on any ship present in the Strait of Gibraltar.

A speech from King Rodrigo IV is broadcasted across the nation.

"To all the honest citizens of this great nation that is Spain”

“I talk to you in this moment of need to assure you that traitorous communists and their moors do not stand a chance against the valorous forces of the Kingdom”

“We live in a moment of great moral need where men spit at their values and traditions, some with false promises of free equality and others with delusions of greatness”

“In moments like these is our responsibility to ensure that our nation remains as a beacon of virtue in this world”

“These so called partisans will be defeated shortly and there is no doubt about it but as them there are many in the world who would see our values burned to the ground and the return of barbarism”

“for that we must show the world not only who we are but the distances we're willing to go to put an end to those false gods and saviours that declare themselves to be prophets in times of need only to take advantage of the populace”

“With the mighty blade of Spain, I will make sure to right their wrongs”

Across the city, gunfire is heard. Explosions across as police and national guard fight rebel forces. Streets turn into crude barricades and are riddled with bullet shells overnight. More troops are called in to reinforce the Loyalist forces as Green Army (Libertarian) militia and PMC fight the police.

The city hall and police precincts are the main targets of the revolution as protests turn violent. Molotovs thrown at riot police as tear gas is fired back. An estimated 60 civilians are caught in cross fire as Green Army rebels fire MI16s at the police.
As of the first day, there were 100 arrests, 7 dead officers, 3 injured officers, and 25 dead militants.

The Droideneans marched towards the city, their goal in mind: capture the King. But, as the troops readied a charge, a barrage of gunfire erupted from the city. Droideneans fell left, right, and centre.

"Charge! Charge!" Lord-Major-General Rian Fhearghail ordered his men forward

As the Droideneans charged forwards, many men would fall. The first charge would be the bloodiest of the battle. The Droideneans charged the gates, only just cracking at the weight of the Norsemen. However, the fall of the gates did not do much good for the Droideneans. The Ranchians continue their massacre, as the Droideneans continue theirs. Many Ranchians fall to the Berserkers, as many of the Berserkers fell to the Ranchians. The troops in The Ranch had been severely underestimated. Rian leads a charge, a successful one, but the small victory soon would prove Pyrrhic. The Droideneans turn on their heels and rush to the city's exit. The Ranchians followed close behind, but did not expect the Northmen to turn and rush them. The feigned retreat was a success, and gave the Droideneans time to actually retreat. From there, the Droideneans dug in and prepared for a siege.

At the rise of the sun, the Droideneans arose, and mounted another attack. They stormed through the gates, and crashed through the Ranchian line. The attack was quite intimidating, and some Ranchians even surrendered, subject to imprisonment at the hands of the Droidenean Infantry. The Droideneans continued into the city, shouting "Blood, Blast, and Fire!" all the way. Many Droideneans fell under the berserkergang, and the Ranchians fell back to the palace. However, to the Droideneans surprise, the Palace Guard was much stronger than they had anticipated. The Droideneans put up a great fight, but were pushed back to the city's gates. However, reinforcements from the Droidenean's camp arrived, and the another charge was led. The Ranchians were oncemore pushed back, this time not as far. The Droideneans could see the palace, but if they tried to move forward, they would surely be defeated. They decided to do the one thing they had regretted to do: starve out the enemy

Cossack Camp, [Unknown], Ukrainian Russia Major

Glavnyy-Leytenant Lana Baranova ducked her head under the canvas tent flap as she stepped into the darker interior of the construct. In the middle of the tent stood a light collapsible table, atop of which there were several maps of Ukraine, Russia Major, and the Zentralreich, over them stood two people, a thickly bearded man, and an older woman. Her face weather-beaten and tanned to the colour of soft leather. She looked up as Lana entered the tent, smiling as she rushed forward, arms outstretched. Lana embraced her halfway across the tent,

"Cousin Alyosha! It is good to see you! How are the children?"

"Well Alexei can ride better than you! And Elizabeth passed her shooting trial, she's ready to serve the Czardom."

"Well, let us give her a war to remember."

The man, who had been standing off to the side from their interaction, now stepped forward to shake her hand enthusiastically.

"Glavnyy-Leytenant, it is a pleasure to meet you."

"Ataman Orlov, my congratulations on your recent appointment. Is your new command to your liking?"

"Very much ma'am, to serve Rod and the Czar is always an honour."

"I like the cut of your jib, Ataman, now let's see to these plans."

The three returned to the table,

"As soon as the Zentralians look like engaging our Western Front, we'll push north, cut supply lines, we'll steal contraband, we'll pick and choose our battles and places to take a stand, and every day, ma'am, deal a blow to their command. Strike then melt away into the forest. As long as the front line holds."

"Oh the front line will hold, Ataman, I've seen the defences myself. Imagine miles of trenches, dug outs, fortified positions and machine guns. Czech hedgehogs and dragon's teeth, the scale is magnificent. And the mobilisation in the west is almost complete, that includes our support here in Ukraine. After the Zentralians have committed their forces, our support will move into the gap you created, and split their reich in two. After that it's only a matter of time."

Ataman Orlov chuckled,

"Sounds like a plan Glavnyy-leytenant, the men are standing by, any further orders?"

"None, Ataman, I'll let you know if the situation changes, dismissed."

Both the Atamans saluted, leaving the tent quickly, as the Glavnyy-leytenant reviewed the forces at her disposal. War was soon to come, and it was her job to see the Golden Throne came to rule an empire of ash, and that the Czardom prospered.

Karelignia

auf Ulea Line, Russo-Union border

It was a beautiful night at the auf Ulea line, as the nightly stars decorated the skies. It was barely a week since the Imperial Realm had mobilised their troops in defense of their Fatherland. Well, those who knew, knew it wasn't a war about Karelignia, it was a war about GT and their petty politics. Whatever it was that they were fighting for, it was too late to back down now, when the trenches and other defences were built. Just like 83 years ago when it was their ancestors' time, they too would now defend their Fatherland. Back then it was Mannerheim line, now its auf Ulea line, but heck, what's the difference anymore?

While others were sleeping, or atleast in their cottages passing time, Mikko and Beaivi, Fennian and Saamenian, both soldiers of the Imperial Army, were up on their part of the entrenchments, looking for possible yet unlikely enemies. They were conversing something in the midst of their guarding turn.

Mikko asks. "So, how long is our shift for anymore?"

Beaivi calculates. "Hmm, I would say approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, or halfway through already. I could use some rest…"

Mikko sighs with sympathy. "Yeah, I agree. But say, Beaivi, can I ask you something?"

Beaivi nods. "Sure, go ahead."

Mikko asks. "What's do you think about this whole war?"

Beaivi thinks for a moment. "Hm. Well, while this is our duty as men of the Empire to defend it, none of us probably wants to actually be here. Most if not all would likely be in their homes or something right now, yet now we are here. I'm not complaining though, my company is like a second family to me anyways. But what about, what's your preference?"

Mikko shrugs. "Welp, you just pretty much said the thing I was thinking off. I have two sons and a wife back in Tornio, and no offense, but I'd rather be spending my summer with them than here."

Beaivi chuckles. "Heh, none taken. But hey, you've heard of that Teleportal they've been constructing in Vihriholma? That ought to be opened after all this is finally done with…"

Mikko agrees. "Yeah, everyone must've heard of it by now, including everything else our two governments are working on. Are you interested in it?"

Baeivi cleans his binoculars. "Well I have to admit, I am not the most Conservative Saamenian mind. And while something like mingling with an civilization outside our very dimension may sound frightening even, I see it as both that, but also a chance, a discovery of a sort. So if that Teleportal is opened, of course I want to explore the new, uncharted territory of our Union. And hey, talking about families, I am still a young unmarried man, so my plans possibly have to put the Union into the Union, if you catch my drift."

Mikko slowly nods in acceptance. "Oh I do. An ambitious idea, and I wholeheartedly support your quest for Uniting the Union. No but seriously I do, this is in my opinion as well a once-in-a-lifetime chance for us to reach for so many new things unimaginable before. Karelignia's future is truly a shining one, once we are done with this conflict.

Beaivi smiles. "Indeed, when this is over, if it even starts. Heh, remember the last time a conflict started and we were called to the front? I don't remember shooting a single bullet!"

Mikko laughs at Beaivi's comment. "Ehehehehe, that is true. It may turn into a yet another phony war. Ever thought if these wars aren't even actual wars and the generals just call them such for sake of training us more?"

Beaivi sniggers. "Well you can't blame them, these do work well."

Mikko agrees, tapping his belly as he sits. "A little exercise, especially government-mandated, never does bad for a man."

Men share a laugh as they continue their conversation. It is indeed a beautiful night by the border...
