Imperian Palatse, Imperial Living Room balcony

It was a cold evening, when Miska was looking at the darkening sky and thinking and pondering his actions. War was drawing near to his land any time, that was all in Miska's mind. It could be now, it could be the next moment, it could even cease to exist before it began. He could take no chances, he had to be ready any time. He had chosen war, he liked it or not, and had to fight along side his people, for his people, and himself. He had too many things to worry about. What if he had chosen wrong? What could he have done better? Or was he just thinking too much right now? Why did people have to always fight for petty things? He too just wanted to snuggle with the Empress, Have a friendly duel with Lady of Lastation, or just rest. As he was trailing off to another things, he heard a voice behind him.

"Dark times ahead of us, are they not?" Nikolas nods behind Miska who is now looking at him from the corner of his eye.

Miska look down from the balcony. "Indeed it seems so. Your voice doesn't sound like you have any news recommending for the tide to turn, yes?"

Nikolas takes off his hat and takes it on his heart. "The fair statesman of Droiden, Kongur Edgar, has travelled to afterlife after enjoying soup and mead... blessed be his soul. We would expect Droiden to have some sort of unrest of even another riot, but that is only being pessimistic. The reports say it was an accident, but as far as our networks are sure, he might as well been murdered. We are not sure who would have caused his death, but we are sure a healthy man does not start coughing blood simply from eating. Rest assured the regency that is in the country now is loyal to the League."

Miska puts his right fist on his heart. "He was a good man indeed, shame I got only meet him once before he was taken from us. But what about Kaisa, is she alright? I swear if someone harms her I will personally-"

Nikolas stops Miska and continues. "Your sister would be glad to hear of your care for her, but that is not necessary. I do assured you that she is completely fine. Though of course if a murderer would be so spineless as to try take down Edgar's whole branch, Kaisa, a pregnant woman included, the Shadow guard will join your cause in bringing such a rat on a pike. But for now, she is completely safe. End of the report."

Miska nods. "Indeed, the time is that now. Thank you Nikolas, you may go now."

As by that, Nikolas vanishes without a trace. "Surma Suojelee."

"Surma Suojelee."
