Region: The Hole To Hide In

RP: Old Ties
Agusha, once labeled as the Protectorate ld Agusha under direct Brennian colonial rule well back into the 1800s had forever been a point of contention related to Brennian foreign policy. It was of the majority opinion that Brennus should stay out, as intense anti-colonial sentiments had taken hold after the old monarchy had been deposed. This eventually filtered into the pseudo-isolationist policy of modern Brennian politics, which had recently been forcefully abolished due to tensions with the Technate. Though they had been slow and hesitant to cozy up to many nations thus far outside of the Dze and the Swiss, recent developments in their old holdings were starting to make many believe their hand was being forced. Recent satellite image gathering had revealed several mines, horrid atrocities and evidence of such atrocities such as mass grave sites along with an intelligence report of Otykenese involvement within the area.

Though the populace was withheld from the more sensitive parts of these reports, news broadcasters quickly picked up stories of horrid sentient rights abuses and had not hesitated to make such a story public. Outrage and protests ensued, showing that tension with the Technate had significantly moved the populace to an increasingly prevalent interventionist school of thought. Many said Brennus was still un-absolved of their old colonial crimes, and that refusing to right a wrong such as this would only prove the revolution was for naught, and that the Republic had barely changed from their old monarchic predecessors. Simple observation made the writing on the wall more than clear enough, the government would have to do at least something. Even more so to prevent Technate influence from spreading any farther than it already had. As such, in a public address to the nation, the Prime Minister delivered a speech announcing several official operations in collaboration with the Agushan government. These were all aid or peacekeeping/intervention operations along with the insertion of several IIA intelligence elements to start counteracting Technate influence.

Of course, their intentions were not all noble and it was clear from the start a change in leadership was badly needed within the country. To this end, the IIA were to begin planting the seeds for a deposition of the authoritarian socialist government in favor of a well managed, democratic system. This step in the plan would come well after the Emerald King had been dethroned, with the troops involved in that campaign to swing around and assist in the deposition once the trap had been sprung. It was hoped that by the time the socialists had noticed, it would all be far too late, and the popular uprising would be far too large to contain. It would require careful work, and involved turning the government in on itself. Of course, all old socialist leaders would either be killed or imprisoned by the end of it all, and another friendly nation would be secured in the ongoing campaign for Technate containment.

[11th MEU:]
- 2200 Personnel
- Reinforced Mechanized Infantry Battalion
- Medium Tiltrotor Squadron
[13th MEU:]
- 2200 Personnel
- Reinforced Mechanized Infantry Battalion
- Medium Tiltrotor Squadron

MEU’s will be transported via 2 Amphibious Warfare Ships with appropriate tenders and frigate escort. Will come ashore at a friendly port and will move to designated muster points in preparation for operations. The 11th MEU’s first objective will be to seize the Kivuli Emerald Mine and establish an FOB. Unit will hold until given further orders and will collaborate with local government military units to finalize control over the area. The 13th MEU will move to a muster point and conduct extensive reconnaissance of Mawe Mgumu Quarry. Civilian presence is likely to be high, and attempts at liberation will likely be a night operation. Objectives at the Quarry include liberation of indentured civilians, destruction of supply caches and establishment of blocking posts to cut off this route of the illegal weapons trade.

[1er RPIMa:]
- 865 Personnel
- Reinforced with light tactical vehicles for mobility

The 1st Marine Infantry Parachute Regiment will be responsible for primarily blocking and raiding operations after the establishment of the Kivuli Mine FOB. Will be responsible for small unit raiding operations around the frontlines but will be primarily and most heavily involved with the Kijito Wind Pass. Taking this pass or moving through it at this time may be as good as suicide due to its narrow nature and high level of syndicate control. Thus, the 1er RPIMa will be responsible for making this route too dangerous for continued, regular illicit travel. It is a strategic location for movement of troops, supplies, weapons and anything else you can think of and must be shut down if we are to end their reign of terror in good time. Constant recon will be provided by drone flyovers and boots-on-the-ground teams. Raiding parties are free to engage any and all confirmed targets with extreme prejudice.

RP: Wares for Coin
Dze Tribes

Seeing as their long standing relationship with the Dze had turned out to be one of extreme value, the received proposal did not take long to be accepted. Several airframe options were available to the Dze with the marked exception of one, and options for development of native systems wide open for the land, air, or sea. Options for armament would also be concluded, with rights for licensed production being offered for a few.

[I’ll send the doc link for you to look over, since I’m not gonna include it in a public post >w>]
