Howdy y'all lovely folks

It is Trans Awareness Week.

We wanted to give a special shout out of love, support and appreciation to our members and friends who identify as Trans, as well as those who support and care for them.

You are Seen! You are Heard! And You are Loved. The Time and Talents you show are so important to us, but your presence in our lives is invaluable both online and in real life.

As we take this week to acknowledge and support our friends, that our ally-ship, and love for them continues on beyond this small period, but should flow through every moment, and that it is so important to actively support, and be there every day for our Trans friends and family members through both the beautiful moments and the toughest ones.

I've attached some wonderful link to resources on Trans History, Trans Rights, and Trans Advocacy as well as information on how to be a better ally

THE DTA or Digital Transgender Archive is a fantastic resource hosting a absolute ginormous amount of historic information about Transgender history, and LGBTQ+ History. They have a huge database and I definitely recommend giving it a perusing:

The Transgenderarchive was set up by Reed Erickson as a part of his Foundation, and has become one of the leading sources for knowledge, academia, and history on the fight for Human Rights, Trans Equality, and Education:

Offer also a hotline for Family and Friends and offering brilliant education materials on their website on ally-ship, articles on Trans-intersectionality, and so much more. It is a truly great resource of a website and a truly valuable resource for many:
