Me and my friend used to celebrate every predicted Rapture/End of the world Event. We joking called the faux holidays "Dooms" Day! I loved those days because it was the whole idea of who do you want to be with in the end and enjoying it. We haven't really gotten to since we all live in different parts and have busy lives, but Dooms Day was my favorite.
