The Argentine Republic, in its character of depositary nation, officially extends an offer of membership, to the Government of the United Federal Republic of Sohongida, into the Treaty of the South Atlantic.

In these recent times of conflict around the globe, the preservation of peace in our coasts becomes a paramount objective that can be only be achieved if all countries in the area of interest outlined by the instrument cooperate together.
