Statement on Declansburg recruiting practices:

On the 29th of January, URA leadership was made aware that the region of Declansburg was sending unsolicited recruitment telegrams to several regions within the URA, including but not limited to Conch Kingdom, The Great North, and Eurth. In light of this, and in light of the lacklustre response given regarding these actions from the perpetrating region, the URA would like to make this statement to reaffirm our stance on the act of unsolicited recruitment messages, or "poaching", as it is more commonly referred to as.

The URA does not condone nor support a region that continues to perform poaching as a method for their recruitment and actively seeks to condemn this practice wherever it is found. Any region that actively poaches nations, and continues to do so after being notified of this, will not be allowed to maintain membership within the URA, or seek membership with the URA until their recruitment practice have been rectified. In particular, we condemn Declansburg and their region's leadership for allowing this practice to continue.
