Tirfyng Enters GASCAR Competition

Negotiations with GASCAR representatives from Alaback have bore beautiful fruit as Michel Doorman, a proud Tirfyngian native from Mondstadt has been nominated as a participating driver in GASCAR. Michel Doorman is sponsored by Tirfyng Schiffswerft Kompanie and Hanomag Automabiel Corporation.

Government Increases Navy Budget

In the light of growing sentiment to modernize and upgrade our proud navy, President Harling has signed the Two Ocean Navy Act which allows the construction of an additional 200 ships for the Tirfyngian Navy. Five of the 200 planned ships are slated to be large fleet carriers dubbed "Flugzeugträger 2079."

Tirfyng Seeks to Further Diplomatic Ties With Oliandria

Secretary of State Rudolph Maass announced today that James Harling seeks to strengthen Tirfyng's diplomatic relationship with fellow International Union member state Oliandiria.

"Oliandria is like a brother nation to Tirfyng," Maass commented at the Huis van het Parlement. "Therefore we should form a stronger bond with our fellow Nordic brothers. Our nations are strong alone; when united, we are stronger together."

Toraist Insurgent Attack Foiled!

The Tirfyngian Toraist Front (TTF) attempted to attack the naval base at Mondstadt today. Six hundred armed Toraists revolutionaries opened fire at Navy personnel stationed at Tirfyng Naval Base Winnetka-Mondstadt. The garrison of one thousand Navy troops defended the base for four crucial hours until they were relieved by the 4th Gendarmerie Brigade stationed in the neighboring city of Läge.

Three hundred insurgents were killed in the bloody conflict. The rest were taken prisoner by the Gendarmerie. As for our forces, they suffered only 62 confirmed deaths and 120 wounded.
