Secular state of the philippines

Fort ilocandia wrote:Agreed. We do not need a law down to the letter considering our dire situation but a clear agreement with the executive, that is Ecnav Enitsuj and Secular state of the philippines, that they concur with the wishes of the Congress majority to hold an election: a) as soon as possible over a period of one week, b) for the positions of Delegate and Vice Delegate at the least, c) with a limited term, preferably one year for now, d) suspending the residency period to convince more of our core members to participate in the democratic process.

Our beloved Delegate Ecnav Enitsuj and I unequivocally decided to concur with the enumerated appeal of the congress to wit,
a) to hold the election as soon as possible with grace period of one week;
b) Congress will hold elections for the positions of Delegate and Vice Delegate;
c) aforementioned positions are set for term limits

However, we formally deny the appeal to suspend the residency requirement to run for administrative positions. To quote from our beloved Delegate, 'If we allow the suspension, the “dire situation” argument can be used as a premise to suspend other parts of the constitution. If we allow the appeal it will just render our constitution powerless... I cannot go against the very constitution I/we sworn to preserve, defend, and execute.'

I hope this concludes the argument for residency intermission.
