Rising sakura

SR RP

Written announcement to the nation on 2021 March 1st at 8:00 A.M.

"Greetings Loyal subjects of the Empire and His Excellency,

The Imperial Ajianese Government has come to terms with the issue of the current flag. As much as the flag had represents Ajianese history of modernization, industrialization, and expansion, times are changing. If Ajian would like to compete with that of the World, Ajian must change as well. A haiku will be quoted for those who fought under the Rising Sakura flag. This flag will now be retired from all sectors and branches of Ajian. For the honor of the flag, it shall be granted rest with the soldiers of the next life.

"Resting"

万緑や (Myriad green leaves)

死は一弾を (Single bullet is)

以て足る (Enough for death)

This new flag change will convert to the civil flag of Ajian to represent not only the army but the Ajianese people. The Emperor of Ajian hopes this change will lead the loyal subjects into a new era of prosperity and freedom. Some policies will be changed in Ajian to give greater freedoms for all citizens no matter which prefecture, region, or city they originate.

The flag of the Imperial Ajianese Navy will also be converted to a new Sakura flag. All ships transport or combat based will change the maritime Ajianese flag at 4:00 A.M. tomorrow before any ship has left dock. The ships currently abroad will be scheduled to this flag change another time.

The commissioning of a new war-time flag will be open to the public of Ajian and voted on inside the Imperial Council. All those interested in submitting a design will be gladly accepted via email to the Ajianese Government. This date shall remain open for only 20 days and all submissions will not be accepted after 2021 March 21st. If none of the submissions are excepted well enough to be activated into the new war-time flag, then the Ajianese Government will create a different variation of Ajian's civil flag."

Signed, Prime Minister of Imperial Ajian, Redd Tenki

I would also like to apologize to TNP if my flag had offended anyone in any way. That was not my intention, I don't want to advocate about the crimes committed against humanity nor extreme-nationalism of the Japanese state.
