It's a great day to log on and see I'm still #1 for crime. Stay safe everyone!

Everyone who sees this must share a fun fact about their country's legal system! I'll go first: Marquette's crime is actually far over-reported proportional to how much violent crime there actually is. According to NS, there are 38.49 crimes per hour, and the 2nd ranked country Far Spia Topslew only has 13.54, with the regional average being 4.78.

This over-reporting stems from the fact that we are the shadow banking capital of the world, and many wealthy foreign individuals and corporations utilise Marquetien financial intermediaries and offshore accounts. Tax evasion is not illegal per se in Marquette, but many of our financial institutions are complicit in aiding others to evade taxes in their home country, which inflates our crime statistics.

That being said, drug smuggling is a huge problem and we supply the world with much of its supply of illegal substances.
