The League of Yamhad

The League of Yamhad is an alliance of seven nations that were part of the Empire of Panhist Turkey before the chaos of the 1970s.Though calling the 1970s chaotic in the context of the league of Yamhad is at least somewhat flawed as the seven states became independent between 1972 and 1974 only because the Empire of Panhist Turkey lacked the resources manpower needed to maintain control over such a large area while dealing with the economic crises, political crises, ntatural disasters, disruption of trade, and other problems that plagued the empire during the 1970s. After they became independent the seven states of Damascus (1972), Homs (1972), Suwayda (1973), Palmyra (1973), Hama (1973), Dayr al-Zour (1973) and Aleppo (1974) continued working together, trading with eachother, and helping eachother just like they had before becoming independent. While this was done primarily to maintain some form of normality it did ironically enough save them from most of the problens of that period and even allowed them to flourish to some extent,
