RP: Bleeding, West The offensive has largely ground to a halt as vicious fighting erupted across the entire western line. Conglagateian forces, putting intense pressure on enemy defenses, are unable to make a break through and return to their lines, taking 50,000 casualties in a largely inconclusive battle reducing the number of soldiers in the west to 460,000. Conscripts have filled the gaps in the line, bringing the number back up to 600,000, however they lack the tenacity and wrath of the experienced forces already on the line, and are thus kept out of the most intense fighting. This defeat has lead to a malaise of sorts across the country, as questions are presented as to if they had lost their only chance of retaking the initiative.
RP: Air Panic With the Icewindians choosing to deploy there most valuable strategic resource in one place, the 100 aces, Conglagateian forces would spread out experienced airmen, bringing up the overall effectiveness of the air force. This has lead to Conglagateian forces largely letting the 100 Aces stomp around while they focus on the more pressing issue of air superiority, as this air wing could not be everywhere at once. The air force is still suffering from extreme fatigue as they try to match Icewindian and nationalist air superiority, even if the FAF has decided to focus their air defense on strategically valuable cities and the front line. It is a miracle that Conglagateian fighters are even able to intercept at this point, this being the country's darkest hour.
RP: Mud and Blood, Cracks begin to show. The slog of fighting in the eastern and central fronts have left the Federal Army on the breaking point, and with an upstart egotistical general making his presence known in Lazko have forced commanders to reroute valuable, experienced troops from the east to strangle his revolt in its crib. The worst encirclement of the war so far would befall 98,000 men trapped in the city of Ustin-Sigalla, a valuable railroad hub leading directly to Lazko, bringing down the amount of soldiers in the center and east to 1,110,000 men, which are being constantly replaced and reinforced by volunteers and conscripts. It seems another terrible urban massacre will befall its defenders and its populace. Meanwhile, the defensive line between a minor mountain range and the Evve Terre border broke, threatening the rest of the eastern line as thousands of inexperienced men are thrown into the meat grinder to stop the bleeding. The front inches ever closer to Lazko, and things are not letting up for the Federal Army.
RP: Lazko The pretender Drukovsky's army would balloon to 54,000 deserters, garrison troops, and paramilitary. Opposing him is 76,000 rapidly mobilized territorial militia and 25,000 experienced soldiers pulled off the eastern flank. Drukovsky's "twenty red days" has expanded to include political dissidents, 'enemies of the people', intellectuals, protesting students, the river running through Lazko has become clogged with corpses, as the desperate honor guard attempts to save the enemies of his depraved regime. With his army being outnumbered two to one, the army would quickly begin press ganging the population of Lazko into his army, often shooting non complaint persons. Deserter's families are frequently taken hostage in order to force their return. The Federal Army has made progress in approaching Lazko itself, massacring a force of 9,000 rebels in the Battle of Gravny Fields, killing or capturing almost all of them. Images of territorial militia and members of the 67th Motorized Rifles division dragging cowering rebels out of barns are widely circulated by the government, renewing hope for Lazko's liberation and the war.
Blayredeshia
Drukovsky, terrified of what the federal army might do to him, has begged his benefactors in the Nationalist League for assistance, or escape, or anything. Seeing their leader grovel like a dog for help has not raised the spirits of his more competent officers. It seems Drukovsky's regime is on death's door.
RP: On Deaf Ears The propaganda campaign has had limited affect on the population, who are convinced that defeat in the war will lead to genocide, and no one trusts the word of the Nationalist League.
RP: Our Thanks Acting president Gregori Aktan has publicly thanked Kemonomica, hoping for "continued cordiality" after hostilities have ended. Questions about his choice of words have permeated across the country, but there is no clear answer.
The Conglagateian government has gratefully accepted the Kemonomican lend lease and has requested the Serene Ether formally join the conflict, making it clear that Conglagateian armies are at their breaking point.
