RP: Treaty of Nakatoro

Midway between the nation of Ponticianre and Schwypia in Nakatoro, members of the Accord and the defeated Ponticians gathered to formalized the Treaty of Nakatoro, which will bring about a legitimate end to the Great War's eastern theater. Having surrendered, the Ponticians agreed to the following terms:

I. The Kingdom of Ponticianre will formally accept their defeat at the hands of the Accord Alliance, specifically the Republic of Schwypia, the Republic of the Rumanian States, and the Democratic States of Artaecus.

II. The Kingdom of Ponticianre will accept temporary occupation by the Accord until a new government can be established.

III. The Royal Family of Ponticianre will surrender all executive powers and will remain as a figurehead position.

IV. King Antonio I will abdicate the throne and will live out the rest of his days under house arrest, to be maintained by a joint force of Schwypian and Artaecian guards, in either Ponticianre or Schwypia.

V. The Kingdom of Ponticianre will be dissolved and replaced by a Federal Crowned Republic. The Federal Crowned Republic of Ponticianre will be led by an interim Prime Minister selected by Accordian officials, to lead the nation until free elections can be established. The same shall be done for the Pontican Provinces. The Prime Minister of Ponticianre will be elected every five years by a democratic, nationwide voting process.

VI. The Armed Forces of Ponticianre will be reduced by mandate of the Accord. The Army will be reduced to one million soldiers and the navy to three hundred ships. The ships in excess of the limit will be surrendered to the navies of the three allied nations. The Armed forces of Ponticianre will be able to be refunded after a period of time deemed fit by the Accord.

VII. The Government of Ponticianre will pay the Republic of Schwypia the equivalent of five billion Schwypian Xollaks to pay for damages to the nation’s infrastructure.

VIII. The territories of Pontiainre will be occupied jointly by the Republic of Schwypia, the Democratic States of Artaecus, and the Republic of the Rumanian States. The three nations will assist the Federal Crowned Republic of Ponticianre in the process of recovery and stability. After a period of five years, a joint committee of Schwypian, Artaecian, and Rumanian officials will decide if the Federal Crowned Republic of Ponticianre is ready to lead itself once again. If the criteria for such an event are not met in those five years, the occupation will continue, with the criteria for full autonomy being reviewed every five years until such conditions for full autonomy are met.

IX. The Armed Forces of Ponticianre will accept the duty of assisting the Armed Forces of Schwypia and Artaecus in suppressing any insurrection or coup d'etat attempts made by non-legitimate bodies within the territories of Ponticianre.

X. Ponticianre will leave the Nationalist League and will cut all ties with its remaining membership.

XI. All points of this Treaty are to be effective immediately after the signing.

RP:Peace Treaty
A peace agreement has been signed between the kingdom and the members of the accord. It was attended by King Antonio I, Grand Councilor Giovanni Preda, Chief Justice Cecil Feron, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Gaia Octavina, from Ponticianre, and leaders of the accord. The agreement is expected to come into force on the 80th anniversary of the founding of the kingdom.

RP:Coup
With the signing of the treaty, tensions escalated in the country sparking widespread riots and rebellions. Six provinces, Jyezcka, Amellora, Verdansczia, Despotana, Ovria, Thermodalia, rise on revolt against the treaty and supported the unexpected attack on the government or coup that was launched by none other than Prince Wilhelm, cousin of Emperor Blayre III of Blayredeshia, and husband of the heir to throne of Ponticianre. He was joined with 23 million soldiers and 27 million of protesters, now members of the Nationalist Front Movement, including 500,000 who marched with him into the capital. Although loyal troops throughout the kingdom tried to control the invasion, they were still defeated by the NFM force. After arriving at the palace he immediately declared and installed himself as the King-Regent of Ponticianre. His wife, Antonina, did not believe that he would be able to stand up against the kingdom, and because of her opposition Antonina was forced to be arrested by the private police owned by his husband. The remaining members of the royal family are now in house arrest. The soldier and Wilhelm could not accept the defeat of the kingdom and its disgrace. Accordingly, the martial law and suspension of writ of habeas corpus is also promulgated. This was the beginning of the reign of terror in the hearts of the people.

RP:Mobilization
The new dictator ordered extensive and forced labor in large arms factories. He wanted to push back the production of the weapon to quickly recover its lost profits during the war.

RP:Government in exile
Although Wilhelm has declared himself king, he still does not maintain legal papers or documents, proving that King Antonio I is still the true and sole king of Ponticianre. The true power of the army is still in the real king. King Antonio did not expect Wilhelm's betrayal to the throne. The king condemned what his son-in-law had done and said it was no less abhorrent than he was. The king and his companions remained in the Nakatoro temporarily, as their condition was at stake.
