I agree, I was the one vote against the move. I think they wanted to distance us from "meme culture" associated with the region to encourage growth and recruitment and such. However I don't feel like it'll be much easier to revive the community, especially when you separate it like this.
Either way it's mostly over at this point. We've had a good run.
